[2025 Krabi Stay] Travel Guide for The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort (Updated Mar)

After vacationing in Bangkok, Koh Samui, and Phuket, I've returned to Krabi once again, a place renowned as the most beautiful spot along the Andaman coast. Compared to the hustle and bustle of Pattaya and Phuket, Krabi is more like a hidden paradise. This time, I stayed at the Krabi Tubkaak Boutique Resort, right next to the world's first Ritz-Carlton Reserve. My accommodation was a sea-view pool villa, from which I could enjoy the beautiful scenery of the ocean and the lush mountain backdrop, as well as the tropical horticulture. The hotel offers four types of rooms, three suites, and one villa type. The restaurants and the hotel's wedding venue are also exceptional! Because the hotel is located directly opposite Hong Island, it boasts magnificent views, making it incredibly beautiful! The hotel's interior design also incorporates a lot of wood elements, creating a comfortable and warm atmosphere. Krabi's beaches are the ideal place for a romantic getaway, with options for beach picnics or romantic candlelit dinners being particularly appealing! The previously mentioned The Hong Islands, Ao Leuk, Krabi, is a private island paradise. Every year when I vacation in Krabi, I choose a day to sail to Hong Island. Having visited all the major and minor islands in Phuket, Krabi, and Trang, Hong Island is my preferred choice due to its proximity to the hotel, convenience, and beauty. This year, I also visited Koh Pakbia, which is less well-known but equally stunning!

The Arundina, a Thai restaurant on Klong Muang Beach in The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort, a five-star luxury resort. The taste is delicious and up to standard. No matter how many times you come, it's always delicious. The atmosphere is 100% because it's right on the beach. In the evening, it's very romantic. You have to invite your lover to dinner at least once. The menu is southern Thai food, fusion style. I recommend squid in black ink, chicken with gorae, sour curry with grouper, fish with curry paste, and finally sticky rice with longan and water lily flowers. Very delicious! Although it was quite contrast to have afternoon tea during sunset, I must say it was the best time to do it because it was too hot in the actual afternoon and the sunset view was so much better than the sun at noon. We use this service from our hotel, Tubkaak boutique hotel. They set up the nice little tent with beautiful decorations. The afternoon tea set was absolutely delicious. Price was quite high for this experience, but I would definitely do it again.

I can say it's awesome 👍 🪔𝐋’𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚🪔Looking from the outside of the spa, it reminds me of the shape of a #monkey pitcher plant. The stuff at the resort is so friendly and would like to help me even though I did not ask for help. Also, I and my family received the warm welcome from this resort. For example, I went to this resort during my birthday, they provided HBD word on my bed (to celebrate my birthday) . You can ask for dinner set on the beach aswell. I recommend it because you can enjoy your time with the sea and see the beautiful sunset until the night time (you can see the star). A wonderful spot to unwind. The room is comfortable, big, and spotless. Our room Villa is fantastic, and it puts me right on the beach. The neighborhood has a lot of trees, which is pretty pleasant. The personnel is wonderful; they are friendly and accommodating. Another point worth mentioning is their cuisine. Their Italian restaurant, Di Mare, is one of the greatest I've ever visited; the cuisine is fresh, tasty and delicious. They also make excellent drinks. I stayed in the hotel for four days and had a fantastic time. They made me happy and nourished me properly. Despite the stunning surroundings, it can be difficult to find street food as the beach is surrounded by several beachfront resorts with in-house restaurants. Some water sports activities are available, mostly offered by private beach resorts. Overall, if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet retreat, Tubkaak Beach is the best choice.

Hotel recommendation for a resort with a full jungle vibe. I really like the towels some hotels in Thailand provide upon check-in. They use local plant leaves as tray decorations instead of plastic packaging, which is very sustainable and has a tropical feel~ The towels emit a scent of vanilla, making one feel great~ The rooms do not use key cards but keys and locks. You need to pull a wooden bar to lock the door when going out, which feels like going back to the old home in childhood, quite special~ I do not recommend poolside rooms unless you particularly love swimming! Because you will likely go island hopping the next day, the usage rate is low, and they are a bit more expensive. I recommend sea view rooms, the scenery is great.

This year I also went to Koh Pakbia, which is more niche~ and also very beautiful! Because the hotel is located right opposite Hong Island~ it has a magnificent view, so it is very beautiful! Especially the hotel's beach afternoon tea or the romantic candlelight dinner are very romantic~ The afternoon tea can also be seen as a beach picnic, because it can last until after the sunset and the evening glow, completely dark!
