It houses the largest shopping mall in Penang and was once a government office building. It was only after the complex added three more floors to the original 65, reaching 68 floors, and opened an outdoor observation deck with a glass floor at the top, known as the Rainbow Skywalk we see today, that it gradually came back into the public eye. 👉 Travel Tips: The Komtar Complex has 68 floors, and the sightseeing elevator can take you directly to the 65th floor, where there is an indoor observation deck with a section of glass flooring that allows you to see the ground below the 65 floors, which is quite thrilling. There are also outdoor activities like skywalking that challenge your adrenaline. From the 65th floor, you can take an elevator to the 68th floor, where there is an outdoor skywalk observation deck without walls, offering a more expansive view. Here, you can take in the whole of Penang at a glance. The all-glass flooring also gives a feeling of being closer to nature. There is also a scenic restaurant on the 68th floor where you can enjoy afternoon tea or dinner. The TOP, amazing theme park in George Town

#malaysia The TOP Penang is a theme park & edutainment featuring Rainbow Skywalk and Observatory Deck on the rootop of level 68 of Komtar Tower, the iconic and highest tower in George Town, Penang. Other attractions are Jurassic Research Centre with replica dinosaurs, Boutique Aquarium, Tech Dom, The Gravityz and 4 more attractions. Apart of that, there also have cafes and eateries within the tower. It was an amazing experience visited the Rainbow Skywalk and Observatory Deck, really enjoys overlooking the gorgeous views of the George Town city. My suggestion is could be better to visit in the evening, the night scence is more attractive! They have 2 packages of admission ticket: ➡ Combo with 3 main attractions, RM75/adult and RM55/child. ➡ Super 9 with all 9 attractions, RM98/adult and RM58/child. #penang The Top Boutique Aquarium is located at 1 Jalan Penang 10000 Georgetown, and is open from Wednesday to Monday Friday from 1100-1900, closed on Tuesday. The Top Boutique Aquarium is open to the public in 2018, with more than 150 different species of marine and freshwater fish in about 100 fish tanks, spanning across 30,000 square feet. You can stroll around taking a look at the wonderful fishes swimming around, some of the fish tanks are decorated with a vintage sense on it. One of the highlights here would be the big Amazonian Arapaima fish-tge biggest freshwater fish in the world.

Rainbow skywalk is somehow fun specially walking on the glass floor that you can see everything below 65th floor...scary but fun. You MUST try this. for 10RM Several attraction are also there, like 7D Discover Motion If you brave enough walk outside from level 68.... you must try THE GRAVITYZ The one who manage our trip skip JURASSIC RESEARCH CENTER because we don't have enough time but PENANG BOUTIQUE AQUARIUM was the best i guess☺️🦾 The amusement park at level 6 is not worth a visit though. We bought 13 attraction tickets, which cost 118 Ringgit malaysia per adult and 78 Ringgit malaysia per child. To be honest, the money is not really worth it. we personally really enjoyed 4 attractions, which are Topongan (unlimited time to play) , Jurassic Research Center, Aquarium, and Tech Dome Penang. The rest off it are very boring/ less attractive.

The Top Komtar is a good place to spend 2-4 hours! Walk on the 65th floor outside the building! See through to the ground below! Catch the people and cars that look like ants and toys! Look out and see the beautiful area of Penang spread out! Convenient to access by Grab, choose from the number of activities you want to spend on, good for families and couples! There are some food and souvenir shops too. Well worth the time and cost!

#penangtrip The tallest building in any city is usually worth visiting for the views you get. We were not interested in any of the theme park areas here and simply got a ticket to the top and back. When atop a tall building the views are controlled by the weather so you can be lucky, unlucky or just OK, as we were. The sky was clear-ish so close views were clear but distant views not so. It seemed a very popular place to visit and there are lots of attractions other than photographing the views. Standing on clear glass and looking down is a fascination for many. There are too many steps in the lower floors before you can get in a lift. It cost us $25 (120 ringgits) each to go to the top.
