I finally found the coolest hotel in Chengdu!
An unforgettable luxury hotel experience at The Temple House, Chengdu
During my exploration of luxury hotels, I stepped into The Temple House in Chengdu and had an unexpectedly wonderful time. I couldn't help but share this amazing experience with everyone.
Hotel Location: Excellent Location, Convenient Transportation
- Rating: 4.7 points
- Details: The Temple House is firmly rooted in the core area of Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li in Jinjiang District, closely adjacent to the bustling Chunxi Road, and only one street away from the IFS. The surrounding supporting resources are not only rich and diverse, but also of high quality. Whether you want to visit the Wuhou Temple to experience the historical charm, or go to Jinli Ancient Street and Kuanzhai Alley to experience the folk customs, the distance is within 5 km, making travel extremely convenient.
- 💗Other tips: Located in the bustling downtown area, it is recommended to give priority to the subway for travel. The Chunxi Road subway station can be reached directly, which can easily avoid traffic jams.
Room Facilities: Exquisite Space, Meticulous Details
- Rating: 4.5 points
- 🛌Supplies/Facilities: The guest room supplies are of excellent quality, equipped with high-end toiletries and high-quality bedding, making it very comfortable to stay in.
- 🏘️Room Type/Layout: The selected suite I stayed in this time has a spacious area of 90m², which is considered one of the best among suites of the same level. The guest room uses a unique 45° diagonal dividing line to cleverly divide the living and bathroom spaces. The living room and bedroom are mainly decorated in warm beige, creating a comfortable atmosphere full of life. The bathroom space, on the other hand, goes the other way. The super-large bathroom, which occupies half of the guest room area, adopts a very modern all-black design, and the sense of luxury is overwhelming. The overall guest room continues the minimalist style that is the hallmark of The House Collective, with a large area of extension and white space, which is unforgettable. The only regret is that this functional area division weakens the unique charm of the open layout of The House Collective to a certain extent.
- 🧹Soundproofing/Hygiene: The hotel has excellent soundproofing, which can isolate outside noise and ensure a quiet resting environment; the hygiene is impeccable, and the guest rooms are spotless.
Public Area Facilities: Perfect Blend of Ancient Charm and Modernity
- Rating: 4.6 points
- Details: The public areas of The Temple House are full of highlights. Stepping into the hotel, you will first see an old house from the Republic of China period. It is like a quiet barrier, cleverly separating the inside of the hotel from the noisy streets. The hotel carefully preserves the original architectural style, making people feel like they are traveling through time and space. Among The House Collective, The Temple House boasts the largest area. The garden in the center of the hotel is a tranquil oasis, with green grass and various tropical plants growing freely. There is even a small plantation where mint and rosemary exude a fresh fragrance. When night falls, the garden is as dreamy as a dream under the interweaving of light and shadow. The tropical plants and ancient buildings complement each other, creating a unique beauty. The hotel's gym is fully equipped, and the swimming pool is even more eye-catching. The light blue pool water echoes the white circular ceiling, which is very beautiful.
Hotel Dining: Diverse Delicacies, a Feast for the Taste Buds
- Rating: 4.55 points
- Details: During this stay, I deeply experienced the hotel's Jing Bar, Michelin-starred Mi Xun Teahouse, Tivano Italian Restaurant, and breakfast. Mi Xun Teahouse maintains a stable level. As a Michelin-starred restaurant, its performance is remarkable. The outdoor seating environment of Jing Bar is beautiful, and the two special cocktails have a unique taste, which is unforgettable. Tivano Italian Restaurant, as a one-diamond restaurant, performs excellently in terms of dishes, service, environment, and cost performance, which can be called amazing. The hotel's breakfast is in a semi-buffet style, with a wide variety of à la carte dishes and buffet dishes, and the taste is also very good, especially the Chengdu-style snacks in the à la carte dishes, Zhong dumplings are worth a try.
Hotel Service: Thoughtful Care, Warm and Considerate
- Rating: 4.65 points
- Details: The service at The Temple House in Chengdu is top-notch. Upon arrival, the concierge enthusiastically helped carry the luggage and led the way to the room, and carefully introduced the hotel's facilities and room equipment along the way. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, and surprisingly upgraded my room to a suite. The housekeeping department cleaned the room quickly and well, and the restaurant service was equally attentive. After learning that I was fond of The House Collective and had checked in to the other three hotels, the hotel specially prepared a commemorative card, a cute Temple House panda doll and postcards, and thoughtfully decorated the room and gave a cake according to the anniversary, full of surprises and emotion.
