Xichang 3-Day Treasure Travel Plan | Seaside Utopia for Inland People
| Seaside Utopia for Inland People. Hi, everyone! I went to Xichang for a short vacation some time ago. In three days, I fell deeply in love with this sunny city. The weather and fruits there are so fascinating! Today, I'm here to share my three favorite chill spots with you. They are super photogenic, so promise me you won't miss them!
Lushan Mountain
📍 This is a super friendly little mountain. It only takes 30 minutes to climb up slowly.
🚶♂️ You can choose any way to go up the mountain, but I strongly recommend walking! The scenery along the way is full of Korean drama vibes, and you can take great photos anywhere.
🐒 Key point! There are naughty monkeys on the top of the mountain that will snatch things, so be sure to take care of your belongings.
🎢 There are many options for going down the mountain. You can walk, take a shuttle bus, or experience the thrilling slide or the romantic cable car. It is said that the slide is super fun, but there were too many people in line, so we gave up decisively. In the end, we chose the cable car. The ticket price is CNY 35. At first, we were scared to look at it, but when we sat on it, we found it was super stable. Moving slowly and shuttling through the forest, it felt like we had entered The Wizard of Oz.
Qionghai Lake
Riding or walking along the coast of Qionghai Lake, basking in the warm sun, and feeling the breeze is simply an ideal experience. But be aware that it is warm during the day, and the temperature will drop rapidly after sunset.
🌅 Here are some great places to take pictures:
- Moonlit Style Town - Sun and Sea Hotel: There is a famous tree here, and the coastal scenery is also beautiful. The big slope next to it is very Korean style, but you have to wait in line to take pictures.
- Coast towards the Moonlit Town Pier: There are few people and beautiful scenery, making it easy to take great photos.
- Qionghai Hotel: The big tree is very similar to the sycamore tree in Flipped, a must-see for literary youth.
- Diaoyutai: An excellent spot to watch the sunrise, and you can also recreate the famous photo spot, which will be a hit on social media in minutes.
Jinlin Beach
The coconut trees here are great for taking pictures, but to be honest, the beach is not big, and there are a lot of people watching the sunrise, so don't expect too much. But! The coast next to it is so beautiful that it leaves you speechless. It's super similar to the Erhai Lake in my imagination. When the sun sets, any photo you take will be full of artistic vibes.
🚗 Transportation tips: Try to drive there. If not, leave quickly after watching the sunrise. It is basically hopeless to take a taxi, and the bus can squeeze people into paper.
🎀 In addition, here are a few more places for you:
- Tingtao Town: The art museum's ins-style architecture is very photogenic, but other places are more ordinary.
- Jianchang Ancient Town: No! It is just a very ordinary commercial folk village, not recommended.
- Dashiban Village: You can go if you want to take photos, but it is not necessary for pure sightseeing.
- Torch Square: There is really nothing during the day, so it is not recommended to go there specifically.
Okay, this is my three-day travel guide to Xichang. Hurry up and save it, and go to Xichang to encounter your own romance!
