#2024mapped Being home for one of the most prestigious university in the world, Oxford is also the easiest+cheapest city to visit from London: when planned ahead (even a few days would suffice), one-way trip costs as low as £5 and takes around 2hrs. That also means, Oxford is a perfect destination to do a day trip from London, instead of having to drag along some suitcases to a new hotel. That said, there is an unique accommodation option to stay in the university and wake up to have breakfast in the Great Hall featured in Harry Potter movies; so if you managed to get a slot (usually fully booked many months ahead), that’s a chance not to miss. Attraction-wise, I personally find Bodleian Library and Radcliffe Square most mesmerising, but really, the whole university town is not huge, but every corner is antique and could make an excellent photo spot. In terms of museums, most museum (if not all) are free-entry (but ticket might be needed), and natural history museum is my favourite.

I started my day wandering around the iconic Oxford University colleges, like Magdalen College and Balliol College, which were open to visitors for a small fee of around £7 each. The stunning architecture, manicured lawns, and peaceful courtyards were like something out of a movie. 🎓 Afterwards, I headed to the Ashmolean Museum, which, to my surprise, had free entry! Missing Bean has many branches in the UK. This time we visited the branch in Banbury. The space inside the coffee shop is not very spacious, with only a few seats. Some of the seats can enjoy the street view outside the window, which feels quite comfortable. In addition to coffee, the store also provides light meals. Westgate Oxford is a major shopping centre in Oxford city centre, England, that was extensively remodelled and extended between 2016 and 2017. The original centre was built between 1970 and 1972. It’s a must visit for anyone around the city centre trying to find a good place to eat. The other day, early of the day I headed to Christ Church⛪, and to the path laying next to the river. Transportation: I took a Virgin Bus ticket for one pound from London Victoria Station to Oxford, but the bus stop was outside the station, so I really had to look for it early because the bus would leave on time. Although it was 4 o'clock in the morning, I really had Oxford to myself. Almost all the streets were open to you for taking photos without having to worry about avoiding passers-by. There are many famous attractions in Oxford, such as Christ College-Harry Potter School Hall filming location; Alice in Wonderland author theme store, Ashmoleon Museum and Oxford Bridge of Sighs, etc. In fact, the whole place is a historical site. It feels like going back to England hundreds of years ago. Every road and street is so beautiful! My mother also went to the church to attend the worship that day and felt the solemn atmosphere of the Church of England. visit the beautiful oxford city which is very interesting with many architectures and buildings !! it is very different from where i’m from hence i had really fun exploring the tourist attractions and even the university yay!! we got to see some graduates conducting their ceremony and walk pass the bridge of sigh ! it was drizzling a little bit but stop after an hour #fun
