Fall in love after just one stay! Affordable hotels in Zhuhai
Stay
I recently experienced the 01 suite at The St. Regis Zhuhai and was absolutely blown away. I just had to share my experience!
📍Location
The hotel is located in Area E, No. 1663 Yinwan Road, Wanchai, Xiangzhou District, occupying floors 41-72 of the Zhuhai Center. It boasts a prime location and stunning views.
🏘️Room Type/Layout
I stayed in the 01 suite, which features a well-designed layout, spacious rooms, and a perfect blend of style and comfort. It was a truly enjoyable stay.
🛌Amenities/Facilities
1. Concierge and Check-In: Upon arrival, the front desk informed me that my room would be ready in 15 minutes. I left my luggage with them without worry, and the concierge promptly delivered it to my room. The signature St. Regis seated check-in experience was full of ceremony and a personal favorite of mine.
2. Room Details:
- No key card is required for electricity, which is convenient and thoughtful.
- The blanket and latex pillow I requested in advance through the app were already in the room. Since there wasn't a blanket available, they thoughtfully provided a baby blanket, which was very heartwarming.
- The room was impeccably clean. The hairdryer, although I didn't check the brand, worked perfectly.
- Room service was incredibly responsive. The bubble bath I requested was prepared on time. My friend visited several times and requested tea, which was always delivered quickly.
- The toiletries were plentiful and high-quality, including REN facial cleanser, Sachjuan shampoo and conditioner, and Sodashi shower gel and body lotion. While the scent of the body lotion might not be for everyone, the overall quality was excellent.
- The room was stocked with six TWG tea bags and eight Nespresso capsules, more than enough for daily use.
- The shower's water pressure and temperature were consistently perfect. As someone who values a good shower experience, I was extremely satisfied and have to give it full marks.
3. Executive Lounge and Signature Ritual: While there isn't a traditional lounge, the lounge on the 41st floor hosts a spectacular champagne sabering ceremony at 6 p.m. After the ceremony, the champagne is shared with guests, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
4. Breakfast Feast:
- The freshly made local cheung fun was authentic and delicious.
- The live egg station offered three or four options, with the Eggs Benedict being a must-try. There were also around 15 types of Western pastries, a toaster, freshly made waffles and pancakes, five or six kinds of fresh juice, nine Western hot dishes, two sweet and savory porridges, six side dishes, freshly cooked noodles, 16 types of cereal with milk/yogurt, three kinds of steamed dim sum, 10 types of salad, five sliced fruits, and five cold dishes.
- As soon as I was seated, a staff member inquired about my drink preferences, and plates were cleared promptly. However, during peak hours, there might be a wait for later diners.
🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness
The soundproofing was excellent; I could barely hear any noise from outside. The cleanliness was impeccable, from the rooms to the public areas.
💰Average Cost
The average cost varies depending on the stay duration, room type, and personal spending, but it's roughly around 1,000 yuan. While not cheap, considering the service and experience, it offers excellent value.
💗Other Tips:
1. There might be queues during check-in and dining peak hours, so plan your time accordingly for a better experience.
2. You can note any special requests in the app beforehand, and the hotel will do its best to accommodate them.
3. Don't miss the hotel's signature activities, such as the champagne sabering ceremony, which adds a lot of fun to your stay.
This hotel perfectly embodies the St. Regis butler service philosophy, with prompt 24-hour beverage delivery and quick response to requests. It truly lives up to its reputation as the best St. Regis in mainland China. In the Guangdong region, it's a hotel I wholeheartedly recommend with a full five-star rating!
