The St. Regis Bangkok is one of my favorite hotels. The hotel is located in a great location in the center of Bangkok, with great views and scenery. The hotel building itself has also become one of the dreamlike views of the Bangkok skyline! The hotel is directly connected to the BTS station on the second floor, making it easy to get around. You can also see the golf course and racecourse at the Royal Sports Club from the hotel, surrounded by greenery. Looking out from the hotel, you can feel the idyllic scenery everywhere, which is very pleasant and healing. The rooms at The St. Regis Bangkok are beautifully decorated, with luxurious furniture and exquisite facilities, and you can feel the ultimate comfort and luxury as soon as you walk into the room. We booked a Caroline Astor Suite and a connecting family room. The family room also has a specially arranged tent and crayons for children, which is very thoughtful! The hotel's restaurants offer a wide variety of international and local cuisine, which is a feast for the taste buds. Especially the Drawing Room and The St. Regis Bar, which offer afternoon tea with a unique historical and traditional flavor, allowing you to enjoy the food while also feeling the strong cultural atmosphere. My favorite is the Michelin restaurant IGNIV Bangkok on the first floor of the hotel, which specializes in Swiss cuisine with Thai cuisine. First and foremost, the attention to detail in the plating was truly immaculate. Each dish was a work of art, almost too beautiful to eat. It's clear that they take great pride in the presentation, and it adds to the overall dining experience. What stood out even more was the commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients. From cage-free eggs to organic vegetables, you could taste the difference. It's true that the quality of the ingredients can make or break a meal, and in this case, it certainly made it. I had the pleasure of trying the Khao Soi, a traditional Thai curry noodle dish, and it was an explosion of flavors. The rich, aromatic curry paired perfectly with the tender noodles. It's a dish that left a lasting impression and a desire for more. The egg white omelette I ordered was executed to perfection – light, fluffy, and bursting with flavor. It's not always easy to make an omelette that's both healthy and delicious, but they managed it flawlessly. One of the highlights was the coconut water served in baby coconuts. It was incredibly sweet and tasty, a refreshing way to start the day and a wonderful nod to Thai flavors. Lastly, the French toast served with mangoes was a delightful surprise that transported me back to Paris. The combination of crispy, warm toast and sweet, juicy mangoes was simply divine. Overall, breakfast at Viu Restaurant in the St Regis Bangkok was an unforgettable culinary journey.
