Tallest Building in the UK 🏴🇬🇧
#londontrip
When we were still planning for our London trip, The Shard came out as one of the tourist spots that must be visited. It is the UK's tallest building afterall standing tall at 309.6 meters high. We walked down the river path across it and on the way there and we saw it standing magnificent so we decided to stop and took some photos.
We went there to eat at the aqua shard so we had the chance to see London's skyline without going to the observatory deck.
Entry Cost: 32 pounds for general cost
42 pounds includes fast track entry and a panoramic booklet.
SUGGESTION: Having your meal at one of the restaurants at the shard will cost more however you'd be more relaxed with great food and just as stunning views of London's skyline.

London's skyscraper 😍
This is an absolute amazing attraction to visit when travelling to London. It can get very busy as it is a popular attraction but I have to say it’s definitely worth visiting. The price is not that bad. Once you are at the top you will have amazing views of London as well as a small coffee bar to have some drinks. If you want to see an amazing view of London skyline, then look no further, shard is the best place for it, better than London eye.
Managed to get sunset and night view of the city, words can't describe the feeling.
Plenty of food, drinks and seating area if you want to sit and enjoy the view.
Would highly recommend to do this if you are in London

If you are looking for a perfect place for sunset cocktails and late-night drinks, this will be the right place!!
It took me a week to be able to reserve a slot for the sunset cocktails and I definitely don't reget about it! Although there is booking, but when I reached there, my friends and I still waited for around 30 minutes to be able to get up.
One of my favourite is the special cocktails menu where you can choose the drinks depending on what you like and you can be surprised with the outcome! Also, was very lucky that was given the seating near to the view and managed to catch sunsets! Trust me, I will want to go back again!
Do note that there is a £30 minimum spend applicable per person. So if you are looking for a cheaper alternative you may want to make a reservation for the Viewing Gallery instead.

The view is undoubtedly the best across the London Skyline, but you do pay for it! Having experienced the view from places like the Freedom Tower and Empire State Building in NYC the value for money isn’t great, but if your visiting London and its a one time trip, probably worth it for the experience. Great views just very expensive! #wintergetaway

Monuments of London
Visiting The Shard was an exhilarating experience! The moment I stepped into the sleek elevator and zoomed up to the observatory deck, I was captivated by the stunning 360-degree views of London. The cityscape stretched out below me, and I could spot iconic landmarks like the Tower Bridge, the London Eye, and Buckingham Palace. It was a perfect opportunity to take awe-inspiring photos and truly appreciate the vastness of London from such a height. The modern architecture of The Shard itself is a sight to behold, and the interactive displays on the observatory deck added a fun element to the visit.
Walking up to St. Paul’s Cathedral, I was immediately struck by its majestic presence. The historic architecture, intricate carvings, and towering dome transported me back in time. Stepping inside, the grandeur of the interior left me in awe. The intricate mosaics, beautiful stained glass windows, and the serene atmosphere created a sense of reverence. Climbing up to the dome was a bit of a workout, but the effort was well worth it when I reached the top and gazed out over the city. The panoramic view from St. Paul’s Cathedral allowed me to see London’s modern and historic landmarks in one sweeping glance, and it was a truly memorable experience.#london

London's Modern Icons: Skyline Chronicles
Amidst London's historic grandeur, modern skyscrapers rise like gleaming chapters in a futuristic saga.
The Shard's pinnacle pierces the sky, an emblem of innovation. Canary Wharf's glass giants host the bustling financial symphony. From the Gherkin's daring curves to the Walkie Talkie's distinctive profile, these structures redefine London's horizon.
Navigating through these architectural marvels, I sense the heartbeat of a metropolis unafraid to embrace change.
Amongst medieval cathedrals and Victorian charm, these modern giants remind me that London thrives on its ability to blend the old and new into a harmonious narrative of progress.

Can't help but love London.
An unceasingly fascinating London life, born from the fusion of modernity and art in this city, where reality is mixed with a vintage industrial atmosphere.
London can be said to be an international financial hub, with excellent economic development and great historical architecture.
About eating 🦐
Eating in London is really the most headache-inducing problem, because of the food desert. Personally, I only love Chinese food, or some local steak restaurants that are really great.
About living 🏠
London's city center is very expensive (average 2000/day), so if you're traveling, it's recommended to stay in a bnb or somewhere further away from the city center~
About transportation 🚞
London's main transportation relies on the subway (called "train" here), the only downside is that there is no signal underground, so be sure to prepare your platform information in advance and don't get on the wrong train.
About taking photos 📷
I have compiled some must-visit spots for everyone~
1️⃣Shard Fragment Tower to see London's night view.
2️⃣Visit the Natural History Museum to see the largest whale skeleton specimen.
3️⃣Look at the big dumb clock that has been repaired for 5 years.
4️⃣Visit the majestic Westminster Abbey.
5️⃣View the dome of King's Cross Station.
6️⃣Watch the sunset at St. Paul's Cathedral.
7️⃣Experience Diagon Alley in Leadenhall Market

The Shard
Incredible panoramic view of London.
When you enter they take photos for you to have as a souvenir.
There are two elevators (very fast). The first up to the 33rd floor and the second towards the three observatories on the 68th, 69th and 72nd floors. The last floor has an open part.
We went before sunset and we were able to enjoy the views of the city both day and night.
There is a restaurant and several "mini bars" and the floors of the viewpoints are very well decorated.
The negative point is that it is a very crowded place and the tickets (despite being very expensive) sell out very quickly.
I definitely recommend going… unless you have vertigo
