#ediinsider The Scotch Whisky Tour was one of the highlights of our Edinburgh trip. It is a guided whisky tour to learn about the history of the world famous Scottish whisky. The tour began with the whisky barrel car ride, which took us through the production process of Scotch whisky. Then we were introduced to the different Scotch whisky aromas through a card. Next, we tasted a variety of whiskies and also got to keep the crystal tasting glass as a souvenir. I went on a Whisky Tour in Edinburgh recently, where I mainly visited Glengoyne and Deanston Distilleries. The tour was well-organized, the staff were very knowledgeable and the visits were so interactive with lots of information. Definitely an amazing, must-try experience!
