[2025 Bath Restaurant] Travel Guide for The Scallop Shell (Updated Feb)

Location - 🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀 12 minutes walking distance 🐾 from Bath Spa station, very convenient. Ambiance/Facilities - 🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀 All the staff was just lovely! ✨ We have eaten here a few times now, within the restaurant and on the terrace. 🕯 Definitely ask for a table on the terrace if you’re looking for something quiet and romantic - Jeffrey and I had a great date night there. 🧸 Otherwise, the atmosphere everywhere else is warm and lively, perfect for kids too! Highlights - Definitely our 1kg crab which was served cold, with everything in the crab’s top shell being tomalley (see picture)! 🦀 They are also very skilled with sauces - everything was flavored to compliment but never overpower the seafood itself. p.s. I came here after having three wisdom teeth 🦷removed and the food was well worth it! Avg. Price per Person - 🧀🧀🧀🧀 On this occasion, our meal was more pricey than usual because of the 1kg crab (seasonal menu) and our meal came to £45 pp. Otherwise, I would estimate £30 pp. Rating - overall 🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀!
