[2025 Kuala Lumpur Stay] Travel Guide for The RuMa Hotel and Residences (Updated Apr)

The Ruma Hotel and Residences Kuala Lumpur It shows that it's a 5-star hotel in 2024. My personal experience: 1. The location is good. You can go directly to KLCC by crossing the road and passing through a building. 2. The hotel is very new, and the decoration and design are very aesthetic. It looks really good. Almost every! single! place! looks good. 3. The bedding is quite comfortable. 4. The bathroom, washroom, and shower room are very user-friendly, with dry and wet separation, and the dressing table is also very convenient (although I don't use it). 5. The overall decoration of the room is very local, but it doesn't feel old or gloomy. 6. There is ice water in the mini fridge, so you don't have to freeze it yourself, which is great for me, hahaha! The drinks in the minibar are enough to drink. 7. I think it's very clean. The coffee cups, wine glasses, coffee spoons... I checked and there were basically no water stains, and the bathroom was the same. There were no stains on the sofa (maybe because it's new). I think these aspects are very good. 8. It should be i-friendly, you can almost stay in the room and get everything done through room service. In addition, I went out for more than two hours in the afternoon, and when I came back, I found that the bed in the room was made, the lights in the room were adjusted to a night atmosphere, and the bathroom mat was also laid. They also thoughtfully put water and a cup on the bedside table. The hotel should have arranged it according to the guests' situation (I didn't press "Do Not Disturb" when I went out). Although it was a little surprise, I was also a little scared, hahaha, after all, someone came into the room, and I'm not used to it. (They probably knocked on the door and didn't press "Do Not Disturb", so they came in as usual to prepare for the night.) In short, it's OK, hahaha. So, for our almost unplanned, lazy trip to Malaysia, it's a very good ending.

#familytravel Personally love this hotel because the entrance itself gives guests the very well first impression prior entering the hotel. There is a very nice and dimmed walkway for blending you while walking into the hotel environment. There are another 2 areas I love the most is the hotel swimming pool next to a gastrobar and their modern semi-fine dine restaurant named ATAS. The staff were very welcome and warmth, they even approach us the moment we exited from the lift.

Kuala Lumpur RuMa, which belongs to the same group as Shanghai Puli and Beijing Puxuan, is also a world-class hotel. Today, I'm staying in the RuMa suite, which is the only one in the hotel, equivalent to the presidential suite of the hotel! The view is amazing, with the living room and bedroom directly facing the Kuala Lumpur Twin Towers. After finishing the island vacation in Penang and Langkawi, I started the Staycation life in Kuala Lumpur. Awesome stay in this hotel. Home away from home. The hotel has very good location between KLCC and Pavilion. And would not afraid of the traffic jam front of Pavilion. Meanwhile, also hotel provide warm hearted service, likes complementary mini bar drinks and elegant breakfast. We love the roof pool and bar on the six floor, has a view of KLCC tower. Most significantly, the property has perfect design that combine local Malaysian culture, Chinese immigrant elements and virtual art. All of the staff are so friendly and polite . The RuMa Hotel & Residences is a hidden and incredible hotel for me, the design was amazing, from lobby to the room, it was all impressed me. Me and my colleague stayed at Corner studio (KL view), the room with a small living room, bathtub in toilet, and the room was bright enough and their curtains so different, most of the hotels using curtains but The RUMA is using some kind like wooden blinds, very unique. Their spa is also very comfortable, calm and you can feel Balinese style before you enter the spa entrance. Not to mention, their first hotel was in Shanghai, The PuLi. As im required to work during weekend, so i plan a short trip to The Ruma, KLCC so that i can work remotely from hotel while the kids can enjoy the fun in the city. The room is equiped with a comfortable working desk and sofa bed. The coffee machine that help me staying up late and a nice soaking tub when i felt tired and need to rest. While im working , the kids take a 5 minute walk to KLCC mall to watch movie and play at KLCC park. The swimming pool with KLCC background is so nice. Impressed by this warm welcome by the bell-crew left a lasting impression. We were then led via a corridor into a gorgeous bird-cage like atrium before a large set of doors were opened to reveal a stunning lobby. The first thing that caught my eye was the lobby’s Centre piece!
