Recommended attractions: Robert Wan Pearl Museum, the world's only black pearl museum, funded by Chinese pearl magnate Wen Huiren.
Papeete Market: The most down-to-earth place, offering a rich variety of local delicacies, Chinese food, and desserts, as well as a handicraft market and frequently performing bands.
Moorea Island:
Not far from the main island of Tahiti, accessible by ferry or domestic flight.
Local culture attracts tourists, with a richer local cultural flavor.
Must-do activity: Dolphin Center, one of the must-experience activities in Tahiti, located at the InterContinental Moorea Resort, offering three packages to choose from.
