She also told me the difference between different massage style. Personally I prefer the Swedish massage style and I was told that they could change their style. The spa was located on the same floor as the swimming pool and I could also use the jacuzzi.

The light show in Shenzhen, China is amazing. On weekends the buildings downtown near the Ritz Carlton have coordinated lights the among the buildings to put on a light show that lasts about 15 minutes. The theme changes every few months. The experience of checking in at The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen was so good it made me cry
The only luxury hotels under the Marriott brand in Shenzhen are The Ritz-Carlton and The St. Regis. The St. Regis is newer and has a good location high up in the clouds, but its room types and furniture arrangements are really like an apartment, which feels empty. I stayed in a duplex suite and the Caroline suite and didn't like either. So, The Ritz-Carlton it is.
The Ritz has been around for years, and the facilities are a bit old, but the maintenance is decent. The best-maintained old hotel is still The St. Regis in Beijing. However, it is still acceptable. The most unsatisfactory thing is that there is no electric toilet. The swimming pool is not big, it's outdoors, too hot to swim in summer and too cold to use in winter. The breakfast is rich, better than ordinary Marriott hotels, but the taste is average. Normally, The Ritz-Carlton does not provide breakfast, but they usually offer it to regular guests. The front desk supervisor has the authority to give it, so don't argue that The Ritz-Carlton never provides breakfast. At least in my experience, only a few Ritz-Carlton hotels don't provide it.
Overall, for a short stay during a business trip or vacation, The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen is still a good choice. It has a good location with many malls and restaurants around.

When I was preparing to check in, I called the operator to ask about fun activities in the hotel. Oliver from the operator was very patient in answering my questions, which I found very nice.
I checked in at around four in the afternoon. The Ritz-Carlton's management service team consists of staff who have worked for more than ten years. Thanks to Manager AUSTIN LUO for patiently explaining the general situation of various areas in Shenzhen and nearby shopping malls. His enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism made me feel very happy. The service details were perfect. The little lion 🦁 was so cute. I was very happy 🥳💯. The turndown service included small cookies, help with closing the curtains, and replenishing supplies. Thanks to JUDY LIAO for the detailed cleaning. The fruit plate had oranges, apples, and pears. The toiletries were fig-scented Dyptique. From the window, you could see the Ping An Finance Center and the surrounding office buildings. The night view of the pool 🌃 was also very nice. Thanks to the lifeguard and Ethan for taking pictures for me. The restaurant service in the hotel was also very considerate. I had a back strain and was inconvenient, so they helped deliver the food to my room. The ingredients were fresh. It was a pleasant stay experience. The location of this hotel is quite nice because it is near shopping mall and it is quite in the city center. The view of the room is so beautiful and it is quite a big room. Also, you can go to this hotel by Taxi and you can have a warm welcome from the staff. They will take care and bring you to your room. They are friendly and helpful. For breakfast, there are many types of food and beverages for you to select. The staff will bring you to the table and ask you for the drink. Staying at the Ritz-Carlton always ensures a good night's sleep lol
I stayed there before the Chinese New Year this year, it opened in 2009, and many people think the interior is outdated, giving off a 'hall within a hall' vibe. Having just moved house and finished a project, I wanted to take a set of warlord-themed photos, so I chose it for my staycation before the Spring Festival.
The three-story atrium was full of New Year's atmosphere, with three strings of lanterns hanging high, and a huge red envelope tree in the middle of the hall, which at night gave off a 'hall bathed in red' sensation.
The deluxe king room I stayed in offered more privacy compared to other room types. Inside, there was a large wooden screen separating the living room from the bedroom, with wardrobes on both sides of the screen; the entrance had a spacious foyer, providing ample buffer space between the room and the corridor.
Surprisingly, the interior style was not the dull officialdom style, but rather a medieval feel. This was first reflected in the room's color scheme, with dark brown (original wood floors, cabinets, screens, coffee tables, and desks) + mustard yellow (sofa, curtains, lighting) + beige (wallpaper, carpet) creating a nostalgic retro atmosphere. Green and blue elements (bedding, porcelain, plants, carpet patterns) added a lively modern touch and depth, while the combination of leather and wooden furniture with some ceramic and mirrored decorations achieved an elegant balance.
The bathroom was excessively spacious as always, although the toilet was not smart, but that was okay; the bathtub was frame-style, equipped with a bath towel pillow and towel rack, very considerate, especially for someone like me with cervical fatigue; the toiletries were from Asprey.
You can always trust Ritz's bedding, very comfortable lol. In recent years, my sleep quality has been particularly poor, especially when traveling in hotels, but Ritz really always ensures a particularly good sleep.
I only had breakfast at the restaurant, at the FLAVORZ all-day dining restaurant on the second floor. The food distribution area was very extensive, with good crowd flow management. The variety was decent, catering to different regional tastes, with tasty congee and rice noodle rolls, and freshly squeezed juices neatly displayed in cups in the fridge, which was quite special.
The service was the usual friendly and attentive Ritz style, with very kind staff always ready to offer various kinds of help.
