Finally checked off this property - yays to another RC Club experience ❤️ Great use of my 85k FNA for this night-er and yay to my Nightly Upgrade Award (NUA) clearing into the gorgeous Suite - I loved everything about it! The giant living area, the mad cosy bedroom, the elegant and classy bathroom and of course having 1.5 bathrooms are always appreciated! 🍀 The Club Lounge access for AUD125 was an offer I couldn’t pass up and indeed the hardware was super lovely - modern RC design tones and seats with a view created a luxurious sense of space for the last night of this short trip 🎊 But that’s where the sizzling excitement ended 😐 Perhaps I’m used to more extravagant RC Club Lounges but the four meal presentations (bfast is served at the restaurant instead) were at best middling with limited variety and average tasting. And even for a such a small spread, the cheese platter remained unreplenished until I asked 🎭 Champagne was also only available for 2 hrs during evening cocktails but otherwise a sparkling brut. Afternoon yea didn’t have scones and my request for mixed nuts was met with a no as well. Very weird for a RC Lounge to not have these leh 🤦🏻♀️ At least service was nice - Charlie and Courtney from the Club Lounge were stellar in their service and made sure we were looked after enough ✅ For the value proposition, I’d totally pick the Westin over this RC. Sad but true.

To be honest, those who have stayed at the Ritz in Japan will be disappointed with the Ritz Carlton in Perth. I thought it was an old building because of the facilities in the room (loose doorknobs, loose faucets, broken shower, dirty bathtub and surroundings, dirty mattress, dirty windows), but when I looked into it, I found out it was just built in 2019. It's a new hotel, only 5 years old, so it's not cleaned properly at all. The glasses were covered in dust, and the tables and shelves were also covered in dust. The 5th jacuzzi was also covered in rust, there was bird droppings on the cushion, and the staff's attitude was far from that of a luxury hotel. I felt that it was inevitable because it was overseas. We were living on the 8th floor with Swan River view. The pool is not huge but acceptable for kids aged 8. Hope for improvement on breakfast as not much choices. Have a lot of restaurants nearby along the bay side which is good for a nick walk after dinner. Check in and out are fast process, no need to wait long. I will definitely recommend my friends to go there if they go Perth.
