When I first started frequently traveling internationally, I had three requirements for my hotel: Is it safe? Is it clean? Is it convenient? As long as it met those standards, I wasn’t concerned about how it looked or if it was comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, etc. That worked for me as I am an avid solo traveler and I needed to keep my travels within a specific budget. Now that I am more familiar with how to find great travel deals and I understand how staying in high-end hotels can provide a different experience outside of the daily excursions, if I’m able to, I treat myself to the fullest extent.
Staying at the Ritz-Carlton Istanbul was the perfect choice for adding a touch of opulence to my Turkish expedition. Upon my arrival, the service was top tier from start to finish. From being upgraded to a better room with club lounge benefits, to receiving a birthday cake and card from the staff, to the wonderful dining options that fit my fine dining desires, and also the assistance granted by the hotel receptionist, I couldn’t have asked for anything more! The bed was AMAZING! The pool was gorgeous, honestly the entire hotel was mesmerizing.
I loved how there were touches of BLUE in many areas of the hotel (my birthday theme color). Needless to say, I’d highly recommend staying at the Ritz-Carlton Istanbul when visiting Turkey! ✨

The Ritz Carlton is located in the city centre of Istanbul and only 10-15 minutes drive away from the historical sites and attractions of Sultanahmet, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, Cistern Basilica and Blue Mosque. 🕌
Our suite room was elegantly decorated, partially traditional ceramic Turkish wall tiles adding a nice touch. Entering this beautiful room you can instantly notice luxurious furnitures, ornate chest of drawers, marble bathroom, and Asprey bath products, bathrobe and slippers . 🤍
In the evening dinner was served at Atolye Restaurant serving Anatolian cuisine. BLEU Lounge Bar & Bites for after dinner relaxing experience; Great ambience and music played during the evening and we enjoyed a few nice cocktails. 🍹
If you want to have a traditional Turkish Hammam experience you should visit their Spa room, also offering facial and massage treatments. 🧖♀️
Overall, it’s great hotel and its ideally based for a whirlwind tour of Istanbul and this can be arranged by a great concierge desk. 💫

Our three days trip in Istanbul we have stayed at The Ritz Carlton which is located in the heart of the city overlooking scenic views of the city and the Bosphorus. This five-star occupies the first 12 floors of Suzer Plaza, a sleek high-rise diverse use building.
The Ritz Carlton is only short drive from the most famous places in Istanbul; Sultanahmet, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar.
Sleek, Spacious luxury Hotel 24 km far, ataturk airport is Sahiba Gokcen airport 50 km.
We opted a dinner at Atelier Real Food for the expansion was wonderful. The hotel also offers a spa facilities with a Turkish Hamam, a Couples Hamam Suite, an indoor swimming pool and fitness centre, open-air terrace and wonderful jaccuzis. a stylish sleek sunbathing terrace, and a shared infinity pool.

Although the location is slightly remote, it takes some time to walk to Taksim Square, but the beautiful scenery along the way is definitely worth a visit.

In 330 AD, Roman Emperor Constantine the Great made this city the capital of the Byzantine Empire and named it Constantinople. The hotel is located on the coast of the Bosphorus Strait, and is a very prominent high-rise building - rising up and standing proudly. In 2017, it underwent a redesign costing $8.5 million, integrating the long history of Istanbul's heritage and matching it with modern spirit, perfectly combining the influences of the East and the West in the city.
Designer Patricia Pina from Portugal is responsible for the spectacular interior design of the guest rooms and suites. Following her instructions, 243 guest rooms (including 23 suites) have been redecorated to reflect the influences inspired by the rich culture of the Ottoman Empire and Istanbul.
Total area of 126 square meters, the rooms are decorated in golden and copper tones, combined with multiple layers of colors, while the wall panels are made of intricate cobalt blue Anatolian ceramics. Luxurious velvet and silk fabrics can serve as headboards for all rooms, reflecting both the air and the earth in the design. Surrounding the rooms are contemporary works of art by artists, including the famous artwork "At Nağme" by Süleyman Saim Tekkan, a precious representative of Turkish sculpture art, as well as enamel replicas of ancient coins from the reign of Ottoman Sultan Selim III.
