The cherry blossoms at Qinglong Temple are renowned for their variety and rarity. During the temple's restoration last century, Japan donated nearly a thousand cherry trees of 11 different varieties. While cherry blossoms can be found in many places, those at Qinglong Temple are exceptionally vibrant and beautiful. Currently, it is the season for the early-blooming cherry blossoms at the temple. The two pink and white cherry trees next to the Yunfeng Pavilion are in full bloom, and the various cherry blossoms around the Kūkai Monument have also begun to bloom.
