I've been to the Kuala Lumpur Twin Towers and the 45th floor Havana Bar in Nha Trang to view the night scenery, both are high-altitude beauties, but none as impressive as Tokyo Tower. The Tokyo Tower is up close and personal, allowing you to see the tower and the night view at close range. Without this tower, the experience would be halved! (See the visual comparison without the tower in the later images) 💺Some may find the seat charge expensive, and indeed it is a bit pricey, but in reality, many hotels and restaurants in Japan require a seat charge. Service fees and taxes are also added on top in Japan, and the prices you see in restaurants already include these charges. Think of the viewing charge as an admission fee, and then it seems reasonable, and you can sit and chat. 🍷Lastly, the drinks are hard to swallow, but I believe everyone is not here just for the drinks. Recently, I stayed at what I consider the three best tower view hotels in Tokyo. I really love looking at the Tokyo Tower, especially from the comfort of a hotel room. Today, I'm going to summarize my experiences. 1️⃣ First hotel: Tokyo Prince Hotel Garden Tower This hotel is an old favorite among Tokyo's internet-famous hotels. If you go outside the hotel, you'll find it's really close to Tokyo Tower, so the view from the landscape rooms or the bar is truly breathtaking. Recommended room type: Corner Tower View Room (high floor) Price: 3000-60000 Transportation: 10-minute walk from Shibakoen Station on the Mita Line 2️⃣ Second hotel: Tokyo Toranomon Edition Hotel You must have seen the view from the windows of Tokyo Edition before. Edition goes for a minimalist modern style, so the rooms look very clean. Actually, the best part of the hotel is the bar. The lobby bar is filled with lots of green plants and is very beautiful. Recommended room type: Tower View Room, Deluxe Tower View Room, Tower View Suite Price: 4000-8000 Transportation: 4-minute walk from Kamiyacho Station on the Hibiya Line 3️⃣ Third hotel: Tokyo Toranomon Andaz Hotel The Andaz Hotel was designed by Tony Chi in Tokyo. The Prince Park Tower has one of the best hotel views of Tokyo, with the iconic Tokyo Tower right next door. The 5 star hotel rooms even have outdoor balconies, which is often a rarity in Tokyo. There’s several restaurants to choose between from Chinese to Japanese and steak, a bakery in the lobby, a breakfast buffet on the 33rd floor with 180 degree views of the city below and the Stellar Garden Sky Lounge. Even if you’re not a hotel guest you can visit these bars and restaurants to experience their amazing views. There’s a club lounge, spa and fitness facilities. The metro station is a short walk away and you’re located right next door to Zojoji Temple, which is perfect if you’re wanting to do some exploring early in the morning before the tourists arrive. Roppongi is also a short walk away to do some shopping and dining. The main selling point of the hotel is its view of Tokyo Tower which lights up every night from dusk. Generally the light switches off at midnight. There are also lights that sparkle on the hour every hour for 2 minutes on the main and top observation decks. Address - located in the heart of Tokyo tower and within east reach of two metro line. Around 35 min rides from Haneda Airport by train. Ambiance/Facilities - it is surrounded by a large park and the amazing Tokyo Tower up close and personal and also the temple. Car park is available as well. Highlights - it is within walking distance to the infamous Tokyo tower and also you can opt for a room with that view for a surcharge. You will not regret waking up to this wonderful view of the tower and park everyday. The hotel is also within walking distance to several convenience stores and nice cute little restaurants along the street. The day capture of the Tokyo Tower is so different from the night capture. So be sure to be back to the hotel to capture both scenes! Also onsen is available for a fee to enter and use. Avg. #besthotels I might be too good at picking hotels! I got to enjoy the Tokyo Tower without any wait, and I even snagged the best spot for photos with everyone downstairs. I experienced the Tokyo Tower from bright daylight to the evening glow. The escape room we tried was in the corner room right next to the tower. When we check into the hotel, it’ll probably be around 2:00 PM, which is a bit early since check-in is usually at 3:00 PM. After that, we’ll head straight to the Lounge to take in the stunning views of the Tokyo Tower while enjoying afternoon tea. Plus, dim sum and river water are complimentary!

I was staying at @princeparktowertokyo and saw that they have a Lounge where I can eat and drink with a breathtaking view of the Tokyo Tower 🗼 view. 🥺 The lounge offers guests a unique dining and entertainment experience with stunning views of the city skyline. They have an upscale atmosphere and are popular destinations for people looking to relax, have a drink, or enjoy a meal while taking in the views. Seats are filled up quickly. I think reservations are preferred. For the Twilight Premium Plan with a guaranteed view of Tokyo Tower, I was served Bar snacks and drinks. You can also order additional cocktails. 🥰

Had higher hopes for my room - the pics on the website makes it look so much better when in reality y to e actual hardware felt dated. 🥲 Also disappointed I didn’t get a room with a view of the Tokyo Tower 🗼 Best part of the stay has to be the jacuzzi function of my in-room bathtub - every five star hotel should have one 🛁 As with how some Japanese hotels are, the pool and gym are chargeable so I didn’t get to see how they look like but heard they were adequate 🙈 Service was nothing to complain about - requests for extra water and body lotion fulfilled with no issues. 🍀 Location is no good though as there is nothing walkable around the hotel - though the train or taxi is accessible enough 🚕
