The Prestige is a luxury hotel with a charming colonial Victorian style facade located in the heart of Georgetown UNESCO World Heritage Site. Check in at the grand lobby with an elegant dome ceiling, comfortable seating and of course polite staff. A 30 square meters deluxe king bed room with an art piece rose gold metal frame that arches above and across the TV and acts as a clothes rack as well. Complentiary minibar, coffee making facilities, as well as luggage racks are placed here together. Wet and dry separate bathroom, with rain shower, bathrobes, slippers and a nice customized set of toiletries are available in the room. The fitness room with modern equipment is at the same level as the infinity pool at level 4, with a stunning panoramic view overlooking Church Street Pier.

Was in Penang for a couple of days for business, but as usual, there is always time to enjoy the unique culture which this island can offer. Chose to stay at this Prestige Hotel near their ferry terminal this time. Is a quiet and classy hotel to get away from usual hotels near to mall. Walking distance to “Little India”, where you can get good Indian food. But due to school holidays started in Malaysia, most of the good hawker eating places are very crowded during this period.

Service is nice, all staff are friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect, from the moment we arrived at the hotel. There are so many positive credits to this hotel, such as : The location is the best, close to many popular places around Penang town, such as the famous clans jetty, the pier, cafes and restaurants, and the famous nasi leak. Easy and fast check-in with a welcome drink, including beer or wine, really wow me. The hotel design and architecture are beautiful; I love it. The room is designed well, with a pretty separate toilet from the bathroom. Great initiative from the hotel to give a complimentary drink inside the mini fridge, which not many hotels do. Usually just water. The bathroom amenities are designed well, so pretty packing! Another WOW me is a Jar timeless memory, which inside contains the oldies candies from my childhood, it is such a sweet and romantic hotel. The rooftop garden and the swimming pool is another pretty spot in this hotel with a spectacular view of the Jetty and pier of Penang. Best to relax here in the early morning to catch the sunrise or late afternoon and evening. Love to stay again in this hotel for my future trip to Penang. We wanted a mini getaway and did not want to drive so, for the convenience of being able to walk to everywhere, we chose this lovely hotel. Check in was fast and easy, and folks at the front desk are friendly and helpful. They offered to help with luggage even though we barely had anything. Also allowed us to borrow an umbrella knowing that the outside weather was rainy. Room is spacious and got a free upgrade due to our membership status. Beautiful and clean rooms with very comfortable temperature control.

We ordered Nasi lemak and Tom yum chicken nuggets late in the night due to a supper craving and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. Hotel is surrounded by cafes and restaurants, a mini-mart and even a bubble tea store. Need to grab out for street food. In terms of customer service, every staff we encountered during our 4 days here were absolutely amazing! We really do feel their genuine hospitality through their smiles and actions.
