#winhkflight 📍Starbucks Coffee, Design Village Outlet Mall, Penang We had some coffee at the famous chain coffee store, Starbucks after doing some shopping at Design Village Outlet Mall. The store is minimalist, with wooden-alike decor all over the place including the tables, the chairs, the walls decor. It has both outdoor and indoor seatings, and of course we chose indoor seatings for their air conditioning space in the afternoon. Great place to hang out, get some work done as the café is quiet and cozy, love the cushioned seats and the long tables in the middle of the store. Coffee was great, with strong coffee aroma wafting through the air! I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

#winhkflight 📍Design Village Outlet Mall Had a mini shopping spree at Design Village Outlet Mall located in Batu Kawan, Penang. The outlet mall has a good variation of stores from premium boutiques like Kate Spade, Coach to other casual clothing stores. They often introduce discounts and offers that is more worth it than the mall setting. The atmosphere was electric and lively with the presence of shoppers and visitors. Love that they blend in the nature lush greeneries in this industrial vibes outlet. We visited during the fasting month before Hari Raya, and the outlet is nicely decorated with Hari Raya theme, great photo spots as well! Besides, there is also playgrounds for the kids to play around, benches to rest. Great place to hang around during the weekends. I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

The store is minimalist and bright, with merchandise products displayed and arranged neatly. The store is huge and spacious, it was a comfortable and cozy store where visitors wouldn’t have to jostle their way around. The store is well organised whereby the merchandise items are arranged according to the categories like household items, plushies, personal items. The merchandise items like WeBareBears are so cute, and they have a variation of items like plushies, head rest, utensils. The items sold are of high quality! I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

I recently visited IKEA Cafe in IKEA Batu Kawan, Penang and I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere was so inviting and relaxing – perfect for a cozy afternoon break. I tried their blue cheese latte and it was amazing! I usually don't like coffee flavored drinks, but this one won me over. The food was delicious too – many healthy choices to choose from. Accessable by car, Althought you can arrive by Public Bus but the time is vary from day to day Attractions - There are lot of branded outlet that you can choose from such Coach,Kate Spade,Carlo Rino,PDI, Adidas and etc. Around 5 min drive you can go to Ikea just around the corner Hotels - the nearest is Simpang Empat which around 1-2 Star hotel available Food & Restaurants - Design Village largely contain several fast food chain and limited area for local food, but still it sometime host special event for the local food truck. Great hotel in the developing part of penang. Rooms had decent amount of space with a modern outlook, equipped with a smart TV that supports screen mirroring and YouTube. Wifi connection here was great too. Breakfast buffet was great for the food they cooked. Coffee was brewed in a moka pot before being added to the main pot which I thought was interesting. Spread of food changes everyday. As this hotel is somewhat in the modern developing part of penang private hire transport tends to be tougher to get. However, the hotel do provide certain transport services upon request. Overall this is a great hotel if you want a quiet surrounding away from the island side of penang.
