Matabungkay Beach reminded me of my first beach experience during my childhood days in the 1980's. It is about 2 hours away from Manila nowadays in the seaside town of Lian in Batangas. Staying in Matabungkay Beach Club gives us more comfort with outdoor activities and lunch on the floating bamboo raft cottages. Really glad i was able to experience this 2 Hours away from the city Beach❤️ Getting There - just search on waze MATABUNGKAY BEACH RESORT, LIAN BATANGAS. We travelled via private van Attractions - beach resorts, hiking, it's also very near tagaytay so you can also drop by to experience bulalo and skyranch Hotels - no hotels in the area but you can definitely rent rooms and houses. 🌸 Food & Restaurants - they accept paluto or you can cook your own food Shopping - no shopping malls near by but you can buy from small sari sari stores for foods and drinks. We enjoyed our stay there but do take note that there are no cellular signal in the area their wifi is also kinda slow so much better if 6ou really want to take a break from social media this is the perfect place for you. This is in Barangay Luyahan Lian Batangas, a few minutes away from Matabungkay beach 30 minutes away from Lian town. Just ride a jeep for 13 pesos from palengke but in our case jeepneys and buses pass by infront of hour house in Lian. the other picture is in Patio Pitronela which is a few blocks from our house. i didnt know there was a resort near our house!

Goosebumps! That’s what we felt we stayed here in Matabungkay Batangas. Any beach is normal but this beach is just amazing. You can vividly see the view of the serene sunset at around 5PM. We went swimming around 4PM and there were numerous rocks in the seabed. At night at around 7PM, the weather is pretty cool and breezy. We had a couple of brewskis to cap off the day. Paired with sizzling sisig which is famous in Batangas, the trip was truly amazing! It took us around 4 hours to go to this beach from Metro Manila but it was truly worth the travel. If you’re also looking for cheap and affordable fuel, you can gas up the local Petron stations here. #beachlife

You can also rent a boat for you to catch firs or look for oni, famous seafood in batangas in which you can eat fresh. There are lots of mini resto by the beach where you can buy food and drinks. You can also rent a floating balsa for you to enjoy the deap sea while having boodle fight. They have organization there so that every guest will have the best price possible and will enjoy the place without worrying anything. You can also rent a room or a whole resthouse there good for vacations or office outing. Must visit place. You will enjoy there surely. #beachlife
