Introducing recommended spots in Hong Kong!
From tourist attractions to food, we cover a wide range.
1. Monster Building
Known as the filming location for many movies, the 'Monster Building' is a must-see!
Once you step inside, you'll be amazed by the buildings surrounding you!
It was once off-limits, but the restriction has been lifted as of March 2024.
2. THE PENINSULA Hong Kong
Afternoon tea at the famous Peninsula Hong Kong hotel🫖
Served in the lobby, non-guests can also enjoy it by registering on the same day.
I went straight from the airport to the hotel and managed to get in, even being mistaken for a guest by the bellboy.
Spending time listening to live music was elegant🌹
3. Symphony of Lights
When you think of Hong Kong, you think of the Symphony of Lights…!
There are various ways to enjoy it, such as from the promenade or a cruise.
I watched it from the rooftop of the STARFERRY pier!
4. TRAMIC Tour
A tour around Hong Kong Island on a retro tram.
With an audio guide, you can relax and enjoy the tour✨
You can book it on the official website🙆♀️
The day of the tour and the following day offer unlimited tram rides, so it's recommended for those planning to sightsee by tram👀
5. Street Art
At Hotel Madera Hollywood, there are wall arts of Chaplin and Marilyn Monroe.
There is also Hong Kong Shingo Art painted by Shingo Katori🎨
[Other Points]
There are many attractions like SKY100 and Victoria Peak!
When in Hong Kong, don't miss out on dim sum.

These places are a must-see for first-time visitors to Hong Kong!
👀 Many people ask me where to take good photos in Hong Kong, where to go viral, where to be unique and show the characteristics of Hong Kong. This post is all you need.
1️⃣ Central
Central is one of Hong Kong's CBD areas, and the crowded CBD and 1980s streets show the modern and retro elements of Hong Kong to the fullest.
🚇 Take the subway from Hong Kong West Kowloon to Nam Cheong to Central.
📷 The Peak Tram, Bank of China Tower S-shaped track, Pottinger Street. p2.3.4.5.6. The night view from the Peak is a must-see, so don't miss it!
2️⃣ Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok
🚇 You can start from Tsim Sha Tsui and walk all the way to Mong Kok (half an hour's walk). The street view along the way is very photogenic, and Mong Kok is probably the most prosperous area. There are many people taking photos here, so if you want to avoid the crowds, you can take the subway and come early.
📷 Chungking Mansions, Nathan Road, Yau Ma Tei, Mong Kok Station Overpass, near Mong Kok Playground, Hang Tung Building Parking Lot. p7.8.9.10.11.12
3️⃣ Admiralty, Kennedy Town
There are many overpasses near Admiralty, which are worth photographing for photography enthusiasts. The check-in point in Kennedy Town was popular on the Internet for a while, but if you don't have time, I don't recommend coming here. First, you need a telephoto lens, second, you need good weather, and third, there are too many of these popular photos, so there's nothing special about them.
📷 Arsenal Street, Queen's Road, Hennessy Road, Kennedy Town Station. p1.13.14.15.16
4️⃣ Quarry Bay
The Monster Building in Quarry Bay is a must-see. It is recommended to come and take photos at sunset. Whether you are standing inside the residential building and taking photos from a "frog's perspective" or standing on the road and taking telephoto photos of the Monster Building from a distance, both are good choices. p17
5️⃣ Sham Shui Po
A niche photo spot you can't miss. There are no crowded streets like Mong Kok, nor are there the prosperous skyscrapers of Central. In short, no one is fighting for a spot with you, so take photos as you like! For details, see my previous post on Sham Shui Po photography tips. p18
🚶🏻♂️ The above check-in points require two days of travel, so it is recommended that you plan your time wisely. You have to give up something to gain something.

Hong Kong Cityscape: From the Avenue of Stars to The Peak
#cityscape #ilovehongkong #100waysoftravel #bestcitytolive #china
📍 Sightseeing:
Start your journey in the late afternoon at the Avenue of Stars, where the gentle light of the setting sun creates the perfect atmosphere. Stroll along the promenade, taking in the views of Victoria Harbour and the city’s towering skyline. As night falls, head to The Peak to experience one of the most iconic night views in the world, where the lights of Hong Kong’s skyscrapers shimmer against the dark sky.
🚇 Transportation:
Take the metro to Tsim Sha Tsui Station for the Avenue of Stars. Afterward, ride the metro to Central Station, where you can take a bus or tram to The Peak.
📷 Photo Spots:
For the best shots, capture the skyline from the Avenue of Stars just as the city’s lights begin to switch on. Later, at The Peak, the night view of Hong Kong’s illuminated buildings and bustling harbor will give you postcard-worthy photos.
🍜 Local Cuisine:
Once you’ve soaked in the sights, treat yourself to some local delicacies. Try wonton noodles or dim sum from nearby local eateries. Finish your evening with a classic egg tart or milk tea, a must-try when in Hong Kong.
💡 Tips:
• To avoid the crowds at The Peak, skip the tram and take the bus instead. It’s a scenic ride and a less hectic option for reaching the top.
• Arrive at Avenue of Stars in the late afternoon to catch both the sunset and the night view transition—perfect for capturing both daytime and nighttime photos.

City Walk at Central, Hong Kong 🇭🇰
#weekendgetaways
📍Central, Hong Kong
Spent half a day strolling around Central and it was such a cozy and nice area to hang out! There are a few places that we went for food, pastries, sight seeing vantage points, photo spots. So here’s some of the places that we visited:
1. The Peak
One of the must visit places in Central would be The Peak. Visitors can choose to take the tram, bus or hike up to the peak. The view was simply breathtaking and stunning, 10/10 recommending this!
2. Pottinger Street
Popular spot for photo shoots and movie scenes with its unevenly paved stairs. Lots of kiosks and quaint cafes at this area.
3. Fringe Club
Very cute place for photoshoot
4. Some of the food that we tried:
Lan Fong Yuen milk tea, long queue, worth a try
Bakehouse egg tarts, would recommend to give it a try!

This was my first trip to Hong Kong, and it was a bit different from what I expected
I took my child to Hong Kong over the weekend, mainly to meet friends. The Hong Kong I saw for the first time was somewhat different from what I had anticipated. We visited Tsim Sha Tsui, West Kowloon, Wan Chai, strolled around Victoria Harbour, Harbour City, and went up to the Peak. The streets of Hong Kong were not crowded, especially Victoria Harbour, where there were not many tourists under the night sky, and the breeze was very comfortable. It felt a bit like the Bund in Shanghai, but with far fewer people.
Another impression from this trip to Hong Kong is that dining in restaurants is really expensive, with a simple dish costing over 100, and even fast food like beef rice and noodles costing around 80-90.
Accommodation: After reading many posts online, we ended up staying at the Hong Kong Metropark Hotel Kowloon with our child. The environment was okay, at least the room we stayed in was relatively clean.

May Day at Hong Kong's Citywalk! This place offers a truly stunning view of Hong Kong
The May Day holiday is coming up soon!
If I had to choose a representative spot to enjoy in Hong Kong, having visited Hong Kong many times, I always think it's Victoria Peak!
You can set off early to avoid the peak hours, with fewer people around, the experience is even better, and you can also play on the mountain from morning till night~
·
🚃There are several ways to get to Victoria Peak: hiking, bus, or the Peak Tram
And my top recommendation is to take the Peak Tram, which is near the J exit of the Central MTR station~
📸Victoria Peak attractions:
❤Peak Tram
The green vintage scenic tram has a history of over a hundred years
It is one of the characteristic landscapes of Hong Kong
The tram ride up the mountain takes about 8-10 minutes
A 180-degree view of the entire Victoria Harbour surrounds us, and it's beautiful no matter where you snap a picture
It takes us to overlook Hong Kong, as if traveling through a time tunnel
If you want to take atmospheric, cinematic photos, I suggest taking the tram in the morning
The less crowded carriages make it easier to capture the mood
·
❤Sky Terrace 428
The tram's final stop is Sky Terrace 428! Sky Terrace 428 is a complex that includes dining, entertainment, and shops, and you won't lack anything even at the peak, with occasional promotions
The branch of the famous dessert shop, Ji Xue, with its glutinous rice dumpling ceiling, is also here, and I was really excited when I saw it
Don't miss the famous Madame Tussauds wax museum, where you can take photos with many 'stars' at once!
❤Sky Terrace 428
Sky Terrace is at an altitude of 428 meters, from where you can bird's-eye view the Victoria Harbour scenery
Whether day or night, the view here can amaze visitors with the beauty of Hong Kong
💡Here's a little tip
If you like city views, go to the east side viewing platform
If you prefer island and rural views, go to the west side
Everyone really should experience the Peak Tram at least once!
EMELY MALDONADO
How can you say you've been to Hong Kong if you haven't done these 6 things?
🎊To experience the authentic Hong Kong and its local flavor, these activities are a must‼️❗️
.
🌀①Go to the Peak to overlook Hong Kong and take pictures of the Victoria Harbour night view
If you want to take photos of Hong Kong, more than half of the people would choose to go to the Peak, which is the best spot to capture Victoria Harbour
There are various ways to get to the Peak, and for a more unique experience, you can take the century-old tram to the top. As the red vintage tram car slowly climbs up, the view becomes increasingly expansive, and the panoramic view of Victoria Harbour unfolds before you, which is truly breathtaking
.
🌀②Ride the century-old Star Ferry⛴ across Victoria Harbour
The old cross-harbour transport that has been serving Hong Kong for over a hundred years is also the cheapest mode of transportation in Hong Kong. There are two routes: Tsim Sha Tsui-Central and Tsim Sha Tsui-Wan Chai, with the Tsim Sha Tsui-Central route being more suitable for sightseeing. You can choose to sit on the second floor or by the window for a better view
.
🌀③Take the tram🚎 and roam around Hong Kong
The double-decker tram that circles the city area of Hong Kong is one of the oldest modes of transportation in Hong Kong, with a history of over a hundred years. Riding the tram, accompanied by the 'ding ding... ding ding...' of the tram bell, weaving through the streets of Hong Kong, you can savor the street scenes and experience the most distinctive local culture
.
🌀④Stroll through the Central Market and taste the local Hong Kong flavor
Central is like a miniature version of Hong Kong, with both urban prosperity and traditional markets. It's fashionable, exquisite, and full of life. Whether you're eating, taking photos, or enjoying the Hong Kong-style blockbuster scenes and movie locations, a City walk is not to be missed
.
🌀⑤Find an authentic cha chaan teng🍮 and taste the Hong Kong food culture
Hong Kong's cha chaan tengs, akin to a civilian, homestyle Western restaurant, have been washed and settled by Chinese and Western cultures over the years. Whether it's Hong Kong-style milk tea, lemon tea, French toast, or pineapple bun, it's not just about the food itself; it's about experiencing the local culture of Hong Kong
.
🌀⑥Visit Temple Street to find movie locations and experience life in Hong Kong dramas
For those who love Hong Kong dramas, Temple Street holds many memories. With the flickering neon lights, street vendors, and the many affordable items sold at the night market... Through the screen, you can immerse yourself and become the protagonist of your own movie
.
🍄🍄With so many places to visit, don't worry about how to enjoy them, the itinerary is also arranged for you
🎈Day1: Arrive in Hong Kong, free to go to Hong Kong's gourmet street for check-in
🎈Day2: West Kowloon Art Park-Hong Kong Palace Museum-Tram Roaming Hong Kong Island-Central Legislative Council-The Peak-Golden Bauhinia Square-Star Ferry-Avenue of Stars-Victoria Harbour Night View
🎈Day3: Free activities in Hong Kong all day, or you can go to Disneyland or Ocean Park
.

Visiting Victoria Peak in Hong Kong, you must take the vintage tram! Includes transportation + photo spots
Visiting Victoria Peak in Hong Kong is a must! Taking the vintage tram up the mountain to see Victoria Harbour and the sunset night view will truly amaze you.
-
🚠Transportation guide:
1. Effort-saving method - Tram up and down the mountain: Exit from J2, follow the signs or navigate to "Peak Tram", it's about five or six hundred meters away
2. Bus up, tram down: Take bus X15 from the Admiralty MTR station exit to go up the mountain, with both routes having a bus about every 20 minutes
3. Hike up, tram down: Get off at the University of Hong Kong station and exit from A2, turn left at the exit to enter the entire hiking route~ It's roughly from the Graduate House of the University of Hong Kong—Morning Trail at Lung Fu Shan—Hatton Road—Peak. Make sure to go along Lugard Road, where you can see the full view of Victoria Harbour. Hiking beginners should not choose a route that's too exhausting
-
📷Photo spots:
✔️May Road: After coming out from "High Lane", enter May Road, cross the road and head to the left front, continue up the mountain from the small path on the left side of the tram tracks, this route offers a clear view of Victoria Harbour and the Central skyscrapers
✔️Barker Road: This spot allows you to capture the effect of passing by the tram, which looks very nice, and there's also a British vibe
✔️Sky Terrace 428: The tram terminus, I entered with a combo ticket, which allows an overlooking view of the entire Victoria Harbour
✔️Lion's Pavilion: This place doesn't require a ticket to capture the panoramic view, it's quaint and great for photos
✔️Lugard Road: A free spot to view the panorama, but it requires hiking to reach. Personally, I find it a bit dangerous, but the photos are indeed stunning and impressive
-
✔️Travel tips:
For those uus who want to take photos, make sure to choose a good weather day, and the group should arrive at the peak before sunset🌇Trust me! I could watch the night view of Victoria Harbour a hundred more times!!

Go to Hong Kong, go to Monster Building, go to climb Victoria Peak, go to citywalk
Hong Kong has been visited many times, but this time it's particularly different.
It was overcast, and for a continuous week, the top of Victoria Peak was mostly shrouded in thick fog,
visibility was super low, just to take a few photos,
I climbed the mountain for five consecutive days and I admire myself for that,
but fortunately, I managed to take some quite satisfying photos (picture six)
The spot requires climbing a small hill on the walking trail side.
For Monster Building, those shots they took of the super tall buildings are photoshopped,
shooting from a low angle, the building is only this tall.
If anyone has any good shooting spots to share, feel free to do so, and welcome to discuss in the comments section

A 4-day, 3-night retro journey on foot through Hong Kong
Hong Kong is truly what I consider to be an excellent destination for short trips of 3-4 days. Having undergone the turning of the wheels of time, the blend of old and new cultures gives this city a kaleidoscope of colors. Whether it's the Hong Kong films in my memory or the Cantopop music, they all inspire endless longing and daydreams. I love Hong Kong, I love traveling, and this time, after a three-year hiatus, I set foot on a Hong Kong journey again, walking 30,000 steps each day, traversing my 'playlist' and my 'movie list'.
.
🎡 Itinerary
DAY1️⃣: Arrive in Hong Kong in the morning—Sai Ying Pun—Kennedy Town—Take the tram—Monster Building in Quarry Bay
DAY2️⃣: Check in at MTR stations (Mong Kok-Yau Ma Tei)—Nathan Road—Yau Ma Tei Police Station—Neon signs on Bowring Street in Mong Kok
DAY3️⃣: Central Market—Tsim Sha Tsui—Avenue of Stars in Victoria Harbour—Central Ferris Wheel—Take the cable car to Victoria Peak to enjoy the night view
.
🎡 Attractions
☑️ Kennedy Town: Fulfill your romantic fantasies of the harbor, enjoy a cup of coffee in the sea breeze and quietly wait for the sunset, and you can also take the tram here for a different scenic tour
☑️ Mong Kok: The street scenes of Mong Kok really transport you back to the 80s and 90s in an instant, every snapshot is retro Hong Kong style. The neon signs on Bowring Street are classic elements of the golden age of movies, standing under the signs captures the bizarre and dazzling scenes from Wong Kar-wai's films
☑️ Victoria Harbour: Stroll along the Avenue of Stars, check in with the handprints and statues of celebrities, sit by the sea at dusk waiting for the sunset, and as night falls and the lights come on, the night view of Victoria Harbour gradually becomes dreamy and romantic
☑️ Central: Visit the Central Market to check in at the filming location of the movie 'Nameless', take a ride on the dreamy Ferris wheel for just 20 Hong Kong dollars, and try the classic ice cream from the Richman's ice cream cart
☑️ Nathan Road: The streets lined with tall buildings, the retro trams and taxis shuttle on the streets, making for a great photo backdrop
☑️ Victoria Peak: Take the cable car to the top of Victoria Peak at night to overlook the night view of the entire harbor
.
🎡 Some very useful tips
1️⃣ Transportation: Use Alipay/WeChat directly, open the ride code and switch the city to Hong Kong, then you can take the MTR, note that only the purple gate can be used (other transportation such as trams, buses, taxis require an Octopus card or cash)
2️⃣ Accommodation: It is recommended to stay in Kowloon or Hong Kong Island for convenience in sightseeing and food hunting
3️⃣ Hong Kong's temperature is quite stuffy and hot, be sure to do well in sun protection and heat avoidance when traveling in summer
4️⃣ Hong Kong uses British three-pin plugs, remember to bring a converter
5️⃣ Remember to activate additional data before departure
6️⃣ Many old-fashioned restaurants, food stalls, and snack shops in Hong Kong still only accept cash, remember to prepare more Hong Kong dollars

Sunsets of Victoria Peak 🌅
Catching the sunset at Victoria Peak in Hong Kong was an unforgettable experience.
I started my journey by taking public bus 15 from Central Exchange Square. I chose the bus over the peak tram as it was the most wallet friendly way up the mountain 😂. Ascending through winding roads, anticipation built with every turn.
As I reached the peak, the panoramic view of the harbour stretched out before me, the city's skyline bathed in the warm hues of the setting sun. I found a spot along the Peak Circle Walk, where I could immerse myself in the beauty of the moment. The sky transformed into a canvas of vibrant colors, casting a mesmerizing glow over the cityscape. Lucky me, as I had visited on a clear day, I could even see the peak of Tai Mo Shan over the sea of clouds!
The sunsets at Victoria Peak are truly moments of pure magic that we should all witness.

Traveling alone to Hong Kong can be quite enjoyable!
Traveling alone to Hong Kong Island is a great choice. You can start from North Point and walk along the waterfront promenade all the way to Sai Ying Pun. Such a city walk allows you to check in at Hong Kong's key famous spots, and it's all very exhilarating!
Walking along the waterfront boardwalk, the route can follow North Point, Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, Central, Sai Wan, and Sai Ying Pun.
1. Accommodation budget: The hotel rooms in the Central area are smaller, but the location is excellent. Generally, a four-star hotel room is about 13 square meters, and the room rate is around 600 yuan, of course, this is the non-weekend price. The room rate for 3 days and 2 nights (including taxes) is about 1300 yuan.
2. Dining budget: There are many restaurants in Hong Kong with different grades, and the most cost-effective ones are the tea restaurants. They are popular even among locals for their affordable prices, good taste, and fresh ingredients. The average consumption per person in a tea restaurant on Hong Kong Island is about 100 Hong Kong dollars, which is roughly 92 yuan in RMB. The daily dining cost is about 276 yuan, so the dining budget for 3 days is 828 yuan.
3. Ticket budget: Many scenic spots in Hong Kong are free to enter, but there are also some worth spending money to visit, such as the Peak Tram Sky Pass + Peak Tram + Madame Tussauds combo ticket for 132 yuan, Hong Kong Ocean Park for 325 yuan, Hong Kong Disneyland for 530 yuan, and the Central Ferris Wheel for 19 yuan. The total ticket budget is 1006 yuan.
4. Transportation budget: The prices for buses and subways in Hong Kong are quite a bit more expensive than in mainland cities. The bus fare from Central to Hong Kong Ocean Park is 10 yuan, the subway (Tung Chung Line to Disneyland Line) to Disneyland is 30 yuan, the fare to the Shenzhen border crossing is 27 yuan, and to Hong Kong International Airport is 33 yuan. Therefore, the minimum public transportation cost in Hong Kong is 107 yuan, and I have reserved a transportation budget of 200 yuan.
In summary, the total budget for 3 days and 2 nights in Hong Kong is 1300 yuan + 828 yuan + 1006 yuan + 200 yuan = 3334 yuan.

Victoria Peak/Beautiful
Take the subway to Central Station and exit from Exit J2, follow the signs and you will reach the place to take the cable car💗It's more like a train inclined at 45 degrees than a cable car🛶. I bought a round-trip + observation deck ticket. The observation deck is not big but the view is very goodThe weather in Hong Kong in January is too comfortable, not cold or hot, and it's not cold on the observation deck. And whose mansion is P6? ? This is too extravagant⛳
Finally, not far from Lan Kwai Fong, it is also near Central Station, you can walk from the cable car station, and you will arrive in more than ten minutes, but why is Lan Kwai Fong different from what I imagined🎗I remember it wasn't like this in the movies before, they were all small bars, where is the place to party? ?

Spectacular View of Hongkong! 🇭🇰
#timetotravel
A visit to The Peak or Victoria Peak is a must when you are in Hongkong so you can appreciate the skyline even better. If you go there on a fine day, you will be able to see Victoria Harbour and Kowloon. I've been there twice and the first time I was there was really foggy so the entire city was not visible. The second time I went there, I got lucky as it was somehow a good day, atleast we could see the skyscrapers in the city below. I suggest you get an octopus card so you dont need to purchase a ticket on the tram going up. You just have to tap the octopus card and you are good to go for a tram ride to The Peak. Enjoy the views but pick a nice day !

BEST View Point you need to visit in Hong Kong🌃
#timetotravel #hongkong
Having seen night views from various places, I often find The Peak in Hong Kong to have the most beautiful view. I truly think night views from Hong Kong is the best!
When I went up there, it felt really comfortable, and I saw many photography enthusiasts capturing the scenery.
how to go?
Everyone can go up and enjoy the night view easily.
- From Central, take bus 15 (HKD $11.5 one-way)or X15 (HKD $14.2 one-way)from Exchange Square (MTR Central Station Exit A / MTR Hong Kong Station Exit B1) to the terminus at Peak Galleria
-minibus 1 (HKD$10.9 one-way) from Two ifc (MTR Hong Kong Station Exit F) to Peak Galleria. Alternatively, you can take the Peak Tram from Garden Road to the Peak Tower.
- Alternatively, you can also take the Peak Tram. Opinions on taking the tram may vary, but the one-way adult fare is $37. You can also consider buying a package ticket for $99, which includes a round-trip on the tram and admission to Sky Terrace 428.
😎In fact, you can also go hiking at The Peak.
1. The easiest option is to walk around The Peak. Take the Lugard Road or Harlech Road to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Hong Kong.
2. Take the Mount Austin Road from The Peak Galleria to reach Victoria Peak.
3. Take the Old Peak Road, passing by Barker Road Station, and hike up to The Peak.
There are even longer hiking trails for those who want to explore further. Feel free to discover them on your own.❤️

#hongkongtrip
Peak is a must-visit spot for tourists, including locals.
Bus, taxi, tram, and hiking are options to get there, this time I take the tram. It's so crowded at the tram station during weekends and public holidays but it's worth a try. Paying the fare with an Octopus card will be much easier and save time. When getting into the train take the right side if you want to enjoy the view while riding up the hill.
Arrive there, we can enjoy the beautiful view of Victoria Harbour and skyscrapers from a high level at some lookout points.
Madame Tussauds is one of the attractions there. Taking photos with your favorite one.

It's never a proper Hong Kong vacation without stopping over at the Peak. My last visit was way back in 2016 and this time we decided to go during the early hours to escape the crowds. If you're looking for an alternate spot to the Observation Deck to take those Harbour pics. The Lions Pavillion located along the hike trails offers equally stunning vantage shots. But you must come early as the pavilion is quite small. Restaurants within the mall also serve up some breathtaking views.

Hong Kong from ABOVE😍 BEST city view!
Victoria Peak, known simply as The Peak, is a must-see Hong Kong destination. Day or night, with or without a drone, travelers can capture a fantastic birds-eye view of the entire skyscraper-flanked Victoria Harbour.
As the tallest hill on Hong Kong Island, with an elevation of 550 m, The Peak contains scenery of both incredible city skylines and natural forests and plants.
Vistors can take an easy bus from central or ride in a tram up the mountain.

Hong Kong | I found Alice's Secret Garden 🌺 full of rhododendrons in bloom.
🌸*Hello, everyone. I'm Tangyi. Every day, I want to share with you the beautiful moments I find in life.
*My friend came to Hong Kong and wanted to go to the Peak, so I took her to the Peak Park where I saw many blue hydrangeas blooming years ago. Although there are no hydrangeas now, it is still as beautiful as Alice's Wonderland garden! Full of fairy tale feelings!
*The mountain top park in spring is so beautiful! The lawn and trees are all healing shades of green, with blooming azaleas everywhere. It's very peaceful and there aren't many people.
·
💐About Shan Ding Park;
*The Peak Park is located on the top of Victoria Peak, higher than the location of the Peak Plaza.
*This is a pet-friendly park where you can bring your own dogs and cats to run freely on the grassy mountain top.
On a sunny day, you can enjoy a beautiful sea view and sunset from the mountaintop park.
*There is another historical landmark here: the guard room of the former governor's mansion on the top of the Old Governor's Mountain.
After visiting the Peak Park, you can also come down to the Sky Terrace, Lion Pavilion or Lugard Road Lookout to enjoy the night view of Victoria Harbour. Admission fee is required for the Sky Terrace, while the Lion Pavilion and Lugard Road Lookout are free of charge.
·
🚌How to get to the mountaintop park:
1️⃣Take the Peak Tram to the final stop and continue walking for 15-20 minutes to reach the mountaintop.
2️⃣Take bus No. 15 from Admiralty or Central Pier No. 5 to the final stop at Peak Tram Terminus, then continue walking uphill for 15-20 minutes.
3️⃣Take a taxi directly to "Shan Ding Park" (not Shan Ding Square, Shan Ding Park is the one on the top of the mountain)
·
📷Recommended photo spots for check-ins:
1️⃣Alice Park at the highest point (you can go up to the observation deck and take photos from top to bottom)
2️⃣ Lawn and pavilion
3️⃣Guard room of the former governor's mansion at the mountaintop.
4️⃣At the highest point of ShanDing Park, you can see the observation point of XiGaoShan to the west.
5️⃣A small path covered with rhododendrons
·
📌Check-in tips:
*There are wild boars on the mountaintop, please do not feed them~
*Temperature is low on the mountain, it is recommended to bring a jacket.
·

The city with the most skyscrapers in the world - Hong Kong.
According to Wikipedia statistics, Hong Kong has the most buildings over 100 meters in the world, with 1985 buildings, more than twice the second place New York with 830 buildings, and the third place Shenzhen with 570 buildings. The view from Victoria Peak is very impressive.
On the weekend, go hiking in Hong Kong, take bus route 15 up to Mid-Levels, get off at any station and you can see the bustling high-rise buildings on both sides of Victoria Harbour.

Victoria Peak
Also known as Victoria Peak, it is the tallest hill on the western half of Hong Kong Island with an elevation of 552 meters.
Most people visit the peak either by taking the tram at the Peak Tram Lower Terminus located at 33 Garden Road in Central or taking bus number 15 from Central (Exchange Square) bus terminal.
Victoria Peak is a must see destination in Hong Kong both day or night. It offers fantastic views of Central, Victoria Harbour, Lamma Island and surrounding islands.
The Peak's two shopping malls, Peak Galleria and The Peak Tower offer a wide range of food, beverage and entertainment options.

Victoria peak, a classic in Hong Kong
Hi guys,
Do you want to see Hong Kong from a breathtaking point of view? Do you want to take unforgettable pictures and spend a lovely day with your family and friends? Do not hesitate and go visit the Victoria Peak.
Located in Hong Kong, the Victoria Peak is the famous peak with a lot of history. To go there you have the choice. It can be by bus or tramway.
If it’s is your first time I do recommend the tramway (with this almost 90d hill) you will not forget it.
Peace ✌️

Victoria Peak Hike - Most Scenic View in Hong Kong
Getting There - Take Bus 15 or Peak Tram in Central to The Peak
Located on Victoria Peak on the western side of Hong Kong Island, Victoria Peak Hike is one of the best hikes in Hong Kong. The trail is easily accessible and can be done in less than an hour. You can see a gorgeous panoramic view of Kowloon on a fine clear day and some of the neighbouring islands in the South China Sea.
High West is one of the peaks on Victoria Mountain on the western side of Hong Kong Island and it is one of the best spots to watch the Victoria Peak sunset.
From there, you can also walk down to a dreamy garden in which the Victorian pillars erected and you will be enchanted by the Victoria Peak Garden.

Visit the Peak - Hong Kong
Even though it was a cloudy day, it is well worth a visit to the peak in Hong Kong. My friend told me it was one of the best views, and it was worth it! Although it was a bit chilly at the top, particularly when the sun had set, it is a lovely afternoon out, you can take the tram for $60 up one way, with delightful views along the way. Myself and my friend got some drinks and food at the top, there are plenty of restaurants and souvenirs at the top, even with ice cream! There is a nice walk around the side to get a better view of the city. I would recommend visiting at sunset, so you get a nice view with the Sun and then with the night view as well. My friend and I took the bus on the way down which was 25$ and it took us straight to central station.

Victoria Peak or The Peak
Standing at 552m, Victoria Peak is the highest point on Hong Kong Island.
The city boasts one of the best skylines in the world. Since there are 1,500 skyscrapers taller than 100 meters, Hong Kong has been titled: the "World's Most Vertical City."
Getting to The Peak:
From Central, take bus 15 or X15 from Exchange Square (MTR Central Station Exit A / MTR Hong Kong Station Exit B1) to the terminus at Peak Galleria, or minibus 1 from Two ifc (MTR Hong Kong Station Exit F) to Peak Galleria.#newyearadventure
