#TravelEco For this Beijing trip, we chose to stay at “The White Pagoda Light Hotel”, which is located in the Baita Si area. The atmosphere is nice, and it has both accommodation and a cafe. The hostel is quite clean, with a cute, simple, minimalist design. The only problem is that the bathroom is a bit narrow, but compared to the location, it’s worth it. It’s in a trendy area, near the subway, so it’s convenient to travel anywhere. We chose to stay in a 4-bed female-only dormitory room. The price was around 600 baht per night. The atmosphere was quite quiet, and there weren’t many guests. It’s suitable for those looking for a good price and a great location in the heart of Beijing. Miaoying Temple was first built in 1279 during the reign of Kublai Khan, Emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty, and was designed and built by the Nepalese craftsman Arniko. It was rebuilt in 1457, the first year of the Tianshun era of the Ming Dynasty. The White Pagoda in the temple, the "Stupa of Shakyamuni Relics," is the oldest Tibetan Buddhist pagoda in China. Except for the bronze canopy and spire, the whole body is snow-white. It is the landmark building of Miaoying Temple, so the temple is also known as the White Pagoda Temple. The shape of the White Pagoda of Miaoying Temple is based on the ancient Indian stupa style, and it is built with the unique Nepalese covered bowl-shaped pagoda shape. The temple faces south and covers an area of about 13,000 square meters, consisting of the main courtyard and the pagoda courtyard. The Shanmen Gate, Bell and Drum Tower, Hall of Heavenly Kings, Great Enlightenment Hall, Hall of Seven Buddhas, and Pagoda Courtyard are arranged in order on the central axis. Miaoying Temple houses many Buddhist cultural relics and works of art. The most representative cultural relics include the Tripitaka, a wooden statue of Guanyin, a patched kasaya, a Five-Buddha Crown, Emperor Qianlong's handwritten "Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra," the Tibetan "Zun Sheng Curse," bronze statues of the Three Buddhas, and a red-gold relic of the Longevity Buddha, which were preserved on the top of the White Pagoda in 1753, the eighteenth year of the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. In addition, many precious cultural relics were discovered during the renovation and reinforcement of the White Pagoda in 1978, such as brocade-woven gold-patched kasayas and colorful thread-sealed booklets. 📷 Filming Tips: The 2nd floor of the "White Pagoda Light Hotel" next to the temple is the first choice for filming the whole White Pagoda. 🙏 Address: No. 171, Fuchengmen Inner Street, Xicheng District, Beijing. ⏱️ Opening hours: Open from 09:00-17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, closed on Mondays. 🎫 Tickets: CNY 20. But overall, it's worth the price. For me, it's very worthwhile for solo travel on a budget.

Lu Xun Museum and Guangji Temple are not far from Bai Ta Temple, they can be combined with a citywalk. Guangji Temple does not require a reservation and admission is free (picture 5), it is said to be very effective for those seeking marriage!
