[2024 Bangkok Stay] Travel Guide for The Okura Prestige Bangkok (Updated Nov)
Okura Prestige Bangkok Hotel - Perfect location, stunning sky pool! Don't miss it when you come to Bangkok
Okura Prestige Bangkok Hotel is located in the Siam Center of Bangkok. This building, named Park Adventure, is a top office building in the center of Bangkok. The exterior of the building is also very distinctive, with a full glass curtain wall structure and a curved design with strong lines. The public areas and interiors of the hotel also feature many traditional Japanese elements, while showcasing a modern and contemporary style. Standing out among the many high-end hotels in Bangkok, Okura Prestige Bangkok Hotel naturally has a killer feature: a stunning sky infinity pool!
In Bangkok hotels, having an infinity pool is naturally a standard configuration. Even the rooftop infinity pools of regular hotels no longer feel fresh. However, the infinity pool at Okura Prestige Bangkok is truly special. It is located on the 25th floor of the hotel and is part of the building's extension, like a huge terrace of the entire building. From a distance, it looks like a real sky pool. Being in the pool feels like you are truly zero distance from Bangkok's city skyline! It is also worth mentioning that Okura Prestige Bangkok is a member of LHW (Leading Hotels of the World).
We booked two rooms this time, a suite and a king room with executive club privileges. The views are fantastic! Additionally, I highly recommend the Michelin-starred Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu. This stylish restaurant mainly offers French cuisine fused with Japanese elements. The restaurant features an open kitchen design and a unique large terrace, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant's layout is elegant and cozy, with soft purple neon lights on the wooden wall panels and light wood flooring. The overall ambiance, service, and food quality of the restaurant are very impressive!

Japan Fall Feels, but its in Southeast Asia!
#celebratewithtrip
Autumn has got to be my favorite season and Japan has always been in my bucketlist; however, I'm in Southeast Asia and I can not venture and travel far just yet. The Okura Prestige in Bangkok!Say no more.
I'm glad I can always just book a staycation on Trip.com. It's very convenient and reliable! I got to spend a well-deserved staycation without having to leave far from home.
Our top choice was The Okura Prestige in Bangkok and it was a lovely stay indeed. Upon arriving at the lobby, it is like we were instantly transported to Japan in mid- autumn with the colors of the leaves and a pop of red origami. We got into our room in time to have some afternoon tea ceremony right by the bed. We almost forgot that we wanted a swim. Good thing the hotel pool was heated with the right temperature when we had a night time dip. The Next day, we were just looking forward to have a hearty breakfast and lo and behold, we were impressed.
Needless to say, we had a great time and we are looking forward to coming back in spring for the sakura!

Staycation at The Okura Prestige Bangkok⚡
The Okura Prestige is the height of luxury. I travelled with my partner and we absolutely loved the experience. The rooms are very big and we had a beautiful view of the city of Bangkok. The rooms come with so many small touches like a traditional tea leaf set, a night time turn down service with ice and water, a heated toilet seat and Japanese robes. Huge room with superb facilities and an amazing view of the city. arrival in Bangkok before heading to other parts of Thailand and we are so glad we did. The hotel is perfectly located for a first timer in Bangkok, with the BTS Skytrain connected to the hotel giving very quick and air-con public transport to most important sights. Hotel rooms were big, clean and we had a super view on the 30th floor. The bed is very comfortable and we slept (missing jet lag) amazingly from the first night. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Infinity pool on the 25th veranda had awesome views of the city. Service by all staff during our stay was warm and hospitable.
The infinity pool is a nice touch to enjoy a swim at 26 storeys!
The breakfast is great with an extensive selection of continental and Asian dishes. Also the infinity pool looks out onto the whole city and gets plenty of sun.
Every member of staff was so polite and went above and beyond to do everything for us. We are a young couple and most clientele at the hotel is businessmen but we did not feel treated less by the staff. Our only small complaint is that the manager who greeted everyone at breakfast seemed to avoid us. As mentioned we are a young couple and he made us feel slightly inferior by purposefully avoiding us even when the breakfast restaurant did not have many people in it.

A stone throw away from major malls such as central world and Siam Paragon, moving around is super convenient with easy accessibility to public transport.

Bangkok Okura Hotel ~ Amazing Culinary Experience at Elements!
Bangkok Food Tour ~ The Michelin-starred Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu at The Okura Prestige Bangkok is a must-visit. This stylish restaurant mainly offers French cuisine fused with Japanese flavors. The restaurant features an open kitchen design and a unique large terrace, providing a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The decor is elegant and cozy, with wooden wall panels adorned with soft purple neon lights and light wood flooring. In front of the open kitchen, there is a chef's table that seats eight, where diners can enjoy dishes served personally by the chef and interact with them. The overall ambiance, service, and quality of the dishes at dinner are all very impressive!

In the bustling city of Bangkok, there is a hidden Japanese-style hotel with an infinity pool on the 25th floor, offering a stunning view of the city
When we revisit a familiar destination, the cultural and scenic attractions that once drew us may no longer be the sole focus. We begin to turn our attention to places closely related to daily life, seeking those 'little joys' that make every moment of the journey uniquely radiant.
This time, during our trip to Bangkok, we stayed at the Okura Prestige Hotel. Located in the heart of Bangkok, its Japanese design made it stand out from the usual Bangkok cityscape. This hotel not only boasts impressive facilities but also, with its excellent location and unparalleled city views, serves as a tranquil oasis in the bustling city.
The hotel's 25th floor is one of the best spots to enjoy a panoramic view of Bangkok. And on this floor, the extended infinity pool is a major highlight. If the infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore offers guests a water party, then the one at the Okura Prestige Hotel in Bangkok emphasizes privacy, giving a sense of small yet beautiful.
With its vast open spaces, luxurious bathtubs, cherry blossom trees in the lobby, and Michelin-starred breakfast, this hotel exudes a unique Japanese-style elegance. Various details reveal those 'little joys,' making the trip even more splendid.

The most recommended hotel for family trips in Bangkok
🏨 Grande Centre Point Hotel Ploenchit
📍 Detailed Address:
57 Witthayu Rd, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330 Thailand
A taxi from BKK airport costs about 300🐷
🏨 Hotel Environment:
The hotel is located in the city center, within 1.5 kilometers there are three super shopping malls. Directly opposite the hotel is Central Embassy, which features the famous Thai restaurant: Je Ngor's Kitchen; moving forward is Central World, which has a large Apple store, and in Thailand, you can get a 5% tax refund on purchases; further ahead is Siam Paragon, with the Sea Life Ocean World on B1, along with various snacks and delicacies, making shopping and dining very convenient.
🛏 Room Facilities:
The hotel's king-size rooms are super large, there's no need for an extra bed, and it can accommodate a family of four with preschool children. An extra bed costs about 400 RMB per night.
On the first floor, without leaving the hotel, there is a 7-Eleven, a daily necessities store Boots, as well as restaurants and a Japanese bakery.
👍 Most Recommended:
The hotel pool is at a comfortable temperature, not cold at all, and children can play in the water without leaving the hotel, although the pool is not large. Next to the pool is the gym.
🍽 Dining Recommendations:
Breakfast is served from 6 am to 11 am, with a wide variety, and my favorite is fresh coconut juice + Italian espresso + ice, a genuine coconut Americano.
