Beautiful Contemporary Art Museum in NYC-MoMA
#winhkflight
📍The Museum of Modern Art
11 West 53rd Street, New York, New York, United States
Visited this wonderful and beautiful contemporary art museum in New York, and it was definitely one of my favourite museum experience! The museum is big and spacious, with a total of 5 levels, each floors with different exhibits, could easily spend 3 to 4 hours here! One of the most attractive part for me is that you get to see the real ‘The Starry Night’ art piece from Vincent Van Gogh, and you could get so close to it, and even a picture with the art piece. The details were amazing and very well curated! There was a line in front of the Starry Night art piece, but was a fast moving one. They have some other famous art piece like water lilies by Monet as well. Would recommend this museum!
New York MoMa is a Must!

Opening hours 🕰️: Sunday to Friday 10:30-17:30; Saturday 10:30-19:00
What’s special ✨: Arts. Visual impact. Beauty.
If you love art, you can stay there for days (no wonder when I bought a ticket, the box office asked me how many days) and still find it not enough.
If you don’t particularly love art, you can still spend hours inside easily. The creativity and attention to details of the artists just blow you away. The products sold in the souvenir shop are all beautiful for self use and gifts.

Modern art museum
Address - 11 W 53rd Street, New York, NY 10019, United States of America
In New York City, there are two branches of this modern art museum, one in Midtown Manhattan and one in Queens. The branch we visited was located at Midtown Manhattan and is open from 10.30am to 5.30pm (7pm on Saturdays)!
Do note to avoid going on Monday mornings before 1pm as this time slot is usually reserved for the museum members and their guests. Many of the works displayed there are quite intriguing and spans across multiple modalities of art. That made for a more interesting experience.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wild art
In the heart of midtown Manhattan is this pretty avant garde art exhibition, where they showcase rather wild and outrageous art pieces. Just last year, it got ranked number 15 on the list of most visited art museums in the world, super impressive. It’s a good idea to head here around lunch time when the crowds aren’t that large, so there’s more time and space to properly appreciate the pieces.
We came across this 3-dimensional work that was popping out at us as it had such intriguing visual textures all melded into one. There are also other aesthetically striking works on display, such as the last supper reinterpreted.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best Modern Art collection in the world
If you like modern art as much as I do, you simply have to pay a visit to the Museum of Modern Art in New York, also known as the MOMA. It houses a huge collection of modern art including some world famous pieces such as Van Gogh's Starry Starry Night, Dali's A Persistence of Memory and Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon.
The MOMA is located in Manhattan, but also has a second, smaller space in Brooklyn called PS1, so make sure you go to the correct location. Friday evenings used to be free, but unfortunately that's now only for New York residents.
Opening times: Sun–Fri, 10:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Sat, 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
Entrance fees: $25
Address: 11 West 53 Street, Manhattan

Van Gogh Star Trek
[The Starry Night (1889)]
Vincent van Gogh Vincent William Van Gogh (1853-1890), Dutch post-impressionist painter. He was a pioneer of expressionism and deeply influenced the art of the 20th century, especially the Fauvism and German expressionism. "Star Moonlight Night" is a famous oil painting created by Van Gogh in a mental hospital in Saint-Rmy, and is considered to be one of his masterpieces.
Monet Water Lily
[Water Lilies Water Lily (1914-26)]
Claude Monet Claude Monet (18401926) French painter
This painting is too long, It is difficult to see the details in the overall appreciation. The painting itself is composed of three drawing boards.
The size of these three paintings is so large that the viewer is not only admired from the side, but also more like being in the works. "Water Lily" was created at the end of Monet's artistic career. At this time, the painter's work has gradually appeared in the color of abstraction. The author paints water in each painting, but never shows a little pool. This is a mysterious and unpredictable world. There is no clear definition of anything. These paintings are painted with fuzzy blends of strokes to form an abstract misty color. In the darker areas of the canvas, the pool seems to be covered with a layer of shadow, showing the deep cold green of a pine forest. The bright areas reflect the color of the sky with shiny blue and green on the peacock's tail, as well as a large, radiant reflection of the sun's surface, which is smeared on the canvas with some patchy cream pigments. A cluster of floating green lotus leaves occupy most of the space in the pond, while the pink, lavender and yellow spots on the lotus leaves represent the water lily itself. These works are the crystallization of Monet's life-long exploration of light effects. They are both a visual record of Monet's own gardens and ponds, and a meditation carried by pigments.

New York's Museum of Modern Art is worth visiting
The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA)/ Hh/ is located in Manhattan, New York City, on 53rd Street in Manhattan (between Fifth and Sixth Avenues)
is one of the most important modern and contemporary art museums in the world
with the Tate Gallery in London, UK The French Pompidou National Culture and Art Center, etc.
MOMA has a free interpreter to receive
but not all exhibits have Chinese analysis
is limited to the most classic works in MOMA
Most of the exhibits are still only available in English
modern abstract painting. The artist always shows all the expressions in detail
but actually stands in front of the same piece every time. Everyone can understand the same content
This is where the artist is higher than the rest of the people.
MOMA is the abbreviation for New York’s renowned Museum of Modern Art. The collections here are some of the world’s top and finest selections both in terms of quantity and quality. Perhaps only the Musée d’Orsay of Paris can be comparable.
Most people come to New York’s MOMA for “The Starry Night” by Van Gogh. This for me is also my favorite work from Van Gogh. The melancholy and passion we see here is unforgettable.
In 1889, Van Gogh’s mental illness struck him again. After an intense argument with Gauguin, he cut off one of his ears, wrapped it in a handkerchief and gave it as a gift to a prostitute. After that, he was sent to the Saint-Paul Asylum in Saint-Rémy. He ended up staying there for 1 year and 8 days. There, he continued to offer creative work, completing some 150 oil paintings and 100 sketches. His drawings now are completely leaning toward Expressionism. In his paintings, painted strokes much like waves in the sea and balls of fire are filled with a deep sense of melancholy and his tragic illusions. The oil painting “The Starry Night” is representative of this period in his life.
Other than the best of Van Gogh, here you’ll also find the best of Picasso. This incredible work, entitled “Les Demoiselles d'Avignon” is not only indicative of a great turning point in Picasso’s personal art career, it is a revolutionary breakthrough in contemporary Western art, which has led to the rise of cubism.

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is a world-class museum by any standard. I have never been disappointed with their special exhibits or their collection.
As a visitor, it’s essential to know a few things. You should purchase your tickets in advance, particularly for popular times of the year or during the opening of new exhibits. Better yet, become a member and take advantage of early access (typically 9:30 vs 10:30) and know that you are donating to a worthy cause.
There is a coat check in the basement, a washroom on every floor, and both escalators and elevators, as well as a lovely staircase. During the spring, summer, and fall, the sculpture garden is open and makes for a delightful place to sit.

This is an incredible museum. I could easily spend an entire day here and not run out of things to look at.
There is even a room where you get to draw called a creative lab.
I believe the best experience comes from listening to the audio explanations for specific paintings. They go more in depth into what the art pieces mean and what the artist was thinking when they created it.

New York MoMA Exhibition: The Soul of Los Angeles
No Monet's Seine, but I have Route 66 in the West of the United States
The Museum of Modern Art in New York is exhibiting the solo exhibition of American painter Ed Ruscha, Now Then "Now and Then", which is a comprehensive retrospective of the artist's career. Ruscha was born in the western United States and lives and works in Los Angeles. He is now 85 years old. I still remember his exhibition Ed Ruscha and the Great American West that I saw in San Francisco in 2016. A few years later, I was able to see his exhibition in New York, the capital of art, which shows that he has received wider recognition.
Ruscha's works are diverse in style and distinctive in personality. What touched me most was his depiction of Los Angeles architecture. The plain, undecorated low-rise buildings in Los Angeles become poetic under his brush, and ordinary objects are endowed with soul. I really like his gas stations, with their pop style, simple lines and bright colors. The purely functional gas station in reality, which has nothing to do with beauty, can be so clean and beautiful.
This reminds me of another oil painting that I really like at MoMa, Edward Hopper's Gas (coincidentally, the two painters have the same name). I bought two postcards in the museum gift shop. They are both gas stations, but because of the different styles of the two painters, they bring completely different feelings
The Museum of Modern Art ✍🏼✨
One of the most iconic museum in New York.
I recommend buying tickets beforehand and familiarizing with the museum map. The museum exhibits different centuries of art history on different floors. 👣
The layout of the museum easily guides you through an epic journey in time and in art. I personally recommend going from old to new. I went from the 5th to the 3rd floor and really enjoyed that. 👀
Wait with buying souvenirs till the end, there are a couple of shops in the building but the one next to the exit, in the basement is the biggest shop.
On top of that, you get to look outside and enjoy the view of the many buildings in the area. 💋

❤️Recommendation reason:
The Museum of Modern Art in New York is one of the most important museums of modern and contemporary art in the world, on par with the Tate Modern in London and the Centre Pompidou in France.
Different from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, besides the difference in time and space, this museum is an important institution that incorporates photography art into its collection and also begins to collect design works. Therefore, it is a holy place for contemporary art designers to visit.
🌟Highlight features:
The museum was established in the summer of 1929 by three women, Lillie P. Bliss, Mary Quinn Sullivan, and Abby Aldrich Rockefeller, and opened to the public for visitation.
Among them, Abby Aldrich Rockefeller, the wife of John D. Rockefeller Jr., played an indispensable role in leading the Rockefeller family onto the path of contemporary art collection.
Among the family of museums crowned with the title of modern art today, the Museum of Modern Art in New York stands out as a leader. Its level of fame is such that it can be referred to simply as "the Museum of Modern Art" without the need for a location to distinguish it.
👍Most recommended:
The entire fourth floor of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York is dedicated to the special exhibition "The Long Run" (November 11, 2017 - November 4, 2018), showcasing the works of artists aged 45 and above who have persisted in their creative pursuits. This is a competition between art and the elderly, seeking a deeper personal understanding of innovation. One of the exhibition halls in the 17 galleries is dedicated to the works of Philip Guston, equivalent to a small solo exhibition for him. This is the content shown in image four of the accompanying pictures.
His artistic legend spans half a century, and his paintings - especially those created in his later years with unrestrained and intuitive creativity - have had a profound impact on several generations of artists. "The abstract art we inherit is sometimes incomprehensible and pathetic. Painting is spontaneous, pure, and created for oneself, so we should abandon fixed concepts and break through the limits of painting. But painting is also 'impure', and it is precisely through transforming the impure that painting can develop and continue. We are the creators of painting, but also its slaves," said Philip Guston.
Therefore, it can also be said to be the most suitable, the most suitable place.
👍Most recommended:
In the high-ceilinged second floor hall, Monet's famous painting "Water Lilies" extends over 50 meters on the white wall. The higher you go, the more you will be awed by even more magnificent works of art.
Definitely a must-visit background for most tourists.
New York - Experience Van Gogh's Starry Night at MoMA
The Museum of Modern Art (MoMa), the current home to Van Gogh's famous ""The Starry Night,"" was established in 1929. Here, you can see masterpieces by Picasso, Dali, Monet, Matisse, and many more. The works here can also be browsed on the museum's website.
Walk along the food alley to the end of the other end, and then cross the road, the Museum of Modern Art. The Old Town of Salzburg is very small. It is within walking distance of sights and sights. It is usually within 100 meters and the farthest is 1 kilometer. It is a place that is suitable for measuring and exploring with footsteps. Located in the modern art gallery Museum der Moderne Monchsberg on the west side of the Old Town, visitors can see the panoramic view of the city. There are too many things to do in the old city and the scenery to be seen, but it is worthwhile to spend more time to go to the top of the mountain. The view of the
Mt. Mountain Viewing Platform is indeed more open than the fortress. The Salzach River, the old town streetscape and the castle fortress are all covered. To take a panoramic view of the city, it is definitely better than the angle on the fortress.
Time is still early, hiding in the exhibition hall on the top floor and waiting for the dark. There are transparent windows in the exhibition hall to keep an eye on the weather outside. The most important thing is the heated, benches with rest, Wi-Fi and toilet. For the photographers who are hard-pressed, especially thanks to the fact that we can say goodbye to the air shower, it is simply a tailor-made "hospital"! There is a restaurant called M32 on the upper floor of the
showroom, but the evaluation on the Raiders is almost one-sided: unpalatable, poor service, expensive. If you don't care for this, you can go to the restaurant to have a tripod and so on.
finally wait until dark! Salzburg in the night finally has a color embellishment, and it is two people during the day. At the beginning of the Hua Deng, the calm Salzach River became full of glory and extraordinarily moving. In the old city, there are thousands of lights, and the lights of the lights are constantly drawing a beautiful arc. Unlike the cool blue tones of the dark blue night sky, the warmth of the old town at the foot is a stark contrast. In addition to coffee, music, and Mozart, Salzburg also has the reputation of being one of the top 10 most beautiful night cities in the world.
Unfortunately, the day is not beautiful, the rainy days lead to poor visibility, and the film produced by the water vapor is not transparent enough. Through the late revival, I got the above results, I can only say that I tried my best. This place, I will find an opportunity to brush two.
Tickets: Up and down the mountain one-way 2.3 Euro / person, two-way 3.6 Euro / person (only elevator, can not enter the museum, it is recommended to two-way).
If you want to visit the modern museum, the cost of the elevator + ticket is 9.7 Euro / person.
Salzburg card can be used for free once and for all
Compared to the metropolis, MOMA's style is naturally more modern and interactive, and installation art and video art are not available in the metropolis. It is home to a large collection of modern art masterpieces (within nearly 100 years) and is the first museum dedicated to the collection of modern art. In addition to painting, there are also films, photographs, and industrial designs.
When I stand in front of "Starry Night", only half a meter away from it, I can clearly see that the thick brush strokes are like reliefs on the canvas. The blue, yellow, white, and black of different levels of intensity collide with each other and softly blend together. The moment I saw the real thing, I realized that "Starry Night" lying in the paper medium is just a photo, and the real thing is the real living soul.
