Nanjing's popular photo spots that blew up on social media, posting on Moments was a total win
Nanjing's 9️⃣ popular photo spots that blew up on social media, posting on Moments was a total win||On my first visit to Nanjing, I checked in at these spots within two days. Nanjing is a city with a rich historical and cultural heritage, yet it's also very modern. Taking photos and posting on Moments was a total win!
1️⃣ Nanjing's version of Inception, symmetrical architectural aesthetics, shot at 'Yuhua Living Room'. Buildings 5, 6, and 7 are all good, and you can get the shot around the 9th or 10th floor.
2️⃣ Classic spot at Zifeng Tower, taken from the north gate of 'Ninghai Middle School' near Xiqiao. The most beautiful moment is at dusk.
3️⃣ Shot on the first underground level of 'Nanjing Poly Grand Theater', using a wide-angle lens. Stand to one side and you'll easily get a great photo√.
4️⃣ Jiming Temple and Zifeng Tower in the same frame, ancient and modern, shot from the Ming City Wall. Enter from 'Ming City Wall Scenic Area Entrance', climb up, and walk a few hundred meters east to reach the spot.
5️⃣ At night, the lights on Yihe Road create a perfect warm and cool contrast with Zifeng Tower. Stand under the lights for a great shot. Navigate to 'Langya Road Primary School', and you'll find the spot nearby.
6️⃣ Perfect reflection of the Buddha Top Pagoda at Niushou Mountain, shot from the side of 'Niushou Mountain Scenic Area' near the Buddha Top Palace. Get close to the pool for the shot.
7️⃣ A bookstore with an entire wall of books, very impressive, shot at 'Jinchuang Book City'.
8️⃣ Amazing starry sky ceiling, shot on the 50th floor of 'Golden Eagle G Hotel'. Just take the elevator straight up.
9️⃣ Beautiful central axis of Nanjing, shot from 'Wuchao Gate Park' on the city wall.

The charm of Nanjing: a perfect blend of history and modernity.
Located south of the Yangtze River, Nanjing is an ancient city with a history and culture that spans thousands of years. It is a city that is both ancient and vibrant, a perfect blend of history and modernity.
Nanjing, a city whose name shines brightly in the long river of Chinese history. It was once the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, and countless literati have left behind immortal poems here. The ancient city walls seem to tell the vicissitudes of history. Walking through the tunnel of time, strolling next to the Ming City Wall, you seem to be able to hear the sound of the iron hooves of the ancient soldiers. The magnificent Confucius Temple, the antique buildings make people feel as if they have traveled back to the ancient academy life.
However, Nanjing is not just about the past. It is an important city in China's modern development and one of the centers of economy, culture, and technology. Nanjing's modern buildings, towering buildings, and spacious roads make people feel the vitality and power of this city. The busy Qinhuai River, the cruise ships on the river surface travel through the night lights, bringing a different kind of urban romance.
In the streets and alleys of Nanjing, you will find a variety of delicious food. The food here has distinct regional characteristics, such as duck blood vermicelli soup, salted duck, Jinling snacks, etc. Whenever night falls, the street snack stalls and restaurants are bustling, and the aroma is overflowing, making people drool.
The people of Nanjing are enthusiastic and friendly. They love life and love this city. Whether it is the residents of the old neighborhoods or the white-collar workers in modern office buildings, they are all adding unique colors to this city in their own way.
This is Nanjing, an ancient and vibrant city. It has a rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as a modern style and the vitality of urban life. It is a beautiful city in the hearts of countless people, and it is worth your heart to explore and discover its beauty and charm.

You must always visit the Nanjing city walls in the rain, City Walk guide
You must always visit the Nanjing city walls in the rain, City Walk guide.
The Nanjing city walls are the longest, largest, and best-preserved ancient city walls in the world, with a history of over 600 years (Ming Dynasty walls). During the May Day holiday, despite the continuous light rain, I still took half a day to experience the Nanjing city walls City Walk.
Walking on the city walls in the rain, although there is less of the bright sunshine, there is an added sense of tranquility and depth. The rain threads like a fabric, sprinkling on the city walls, bringing waves of coolness and peace, making one feel particularly comfortable.
The mottled blue-gray bricks and tiles seem to tell the tales of a thousand years of vicissitudes, and the moss that appears after the rain is a unique historical mark of the ancient city wall. After being soaked by the rain, these ancient bricks and stones seem to be rejuvenated, appearing even more profound and resonant.
Climbing the city walls to overlook the entire city, the most beautiful scenery is in full view, each frame is like a blockbuster. In the rainy season, on the Nanjing city walls, you can see a different style of Jinling.
Here's my recommended route:
First, visit the City Wall Museum, then visit the Wengcheng at Zhonghua Gate, then climb the city wall, and finally descend the wall at Chishiji, followed by a stroll through Laomendong. The whole process is very comfortable and relaxed, and along the way, you can also see the Dabao'en Temple.
In the evening, there is an immersive live performance at Zhonghua Gate. Friends who like to watch performances can pay attention to it.
Let me talk specifically about Zhonghua Gate, originally called Jubao Gate, which was part of the Ming Dynasty Jinling city walls. Legend has it that when Zhu Yuanzhang was building Jubao Gate, the city wall collapsed. After listening to the advice of a strategist, he used Shen Wansan's treasure basin to bury at the base of the city wall to suppress it, and then Jubao Gate was built.
Zhonghua Gate has three Wengcheng set up inside the city gate, which is the most well-preserved, complex, and ingeniously designed ancient city gate in China. It is known as 'the first Wengcheng in the world' and is very worth visiting.
Zhonghua Gate was also one of the main battlefields of the 1937 Battle of Nanjing. Thousands of Chinese soldiers fought bravely here, and the gate tower was destroyed in the Japanese artillery fire and has not been rebuilt since.

Encountering the most beautiful Ming city wall
Where is the most beautiful section of the Nanjing Ming city wall? None surpasses the Tucheng section by the Xuanwu Lake, which is the best-preserved part of the Ming city wall, the essence of it, and also the most well-known route that embodies the characteristic landscape of 'mountain-water city-forest' in Nanjing.
The Shanlang Pavilion is located by the lakeside road, offering the best view of Zhongshan from Xuanwu Lake. 'With the clear waves of Xuanwu, reflecting the lush green of Zhongshan.' 'The proportion of Xuanwu Lake to Zhongshan is the best lake-mountain relationship in the country.' Looking eastward, the water embraces the mountain, and the mountain contains the greenery. Amidst the shimmering clear waves, the classic evaluation of the relationship between Zijin Mountain and Xuanwu Lake by Zhu Yuanzhang, the founder of the Ming dynasty over 600 years ago, and the praise from Yang Tingbao, a famous Chinese architect, will unexpectedly meet, making one marvel that those who see the world similarly are not necessarily heroes. 'Thousands of bricks in the city wall, each with deep affection.'
To ensure the quality of the city bricks and to clarify responsibilities, each brick was stamped with the names of the brickmaker and the person in charge. Walking under the Ming city wall, while conversing with the ancients through the bricks, if you're lucky enough, you might encounter a cat that calls the city wall home. There are many legends about the cats of Xuanwu Lake, many of which are recorded in the novels of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The reason can be traced back to the Ming dynasty when Xuanwu Lake was the national archive of the Ming dynasty. To protect the yellow registers, people kept cats to control the mouse problem, and over time, the cats of Xuanwu Lake were gradually mythologized and have proliferated to this day.

Nanjing~ Ming City Wall
The Nanjing Ming City Wall was built in the Ming Dynasty, started in 1366 and completed in the late Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. It took 20 years to build and is the world's largest city wall. It forms a pattern of four city walls from the inside to the outside: the imperial city, the palace city, the capital city, and the outer city. It does not follow the old system of taking a square or rectangle for the ancient capital, with unique design ideas, exquisite construction techniques, and grand scale. It winds and lingers for 35.3 kilometers among the beautiful mountains and waters of Nanjing, and the outer wall of the Nanjing Ming City Wall is even more than 60 kilometers. The Nanjing Ming City Wall is not only the largest city wall in China, but also the largest city wall in the world, and it has been selected as the world's largest city wall by the World Record Association. The Nanjing Ming City Wall 'takes advantage of the natural conditions', is built by the mountains and waters, is a model of the combination of Chinese ritual system and nature, is an outstanding representative of ancient capital construction, and is a common cultural heritage of mankind. In 1988, the Nanjing Ming City Wall was confirmed as a national key cultural relics protection unit. In November 2012, it was included in the Chinese application for the World Heritage List as part of the 'Ming and Qing City Walls' project.
