Here, we’ll guide you to the scenic spot on the largest mountain, "Thuy Son." You can take an elevator up to the middle of the mountain, but the real adventure starts from there💪. To reach the observation deck at the summit, you first enter a small cave called "Dong Van Thong" (📷️3), where a Buddha statue is enshrined. Then, you pass through a narrow gap at the back (📷️4) and climb up the rocks (📷️5). As you ascend the slippery rocky path, you’ll arrive at the breathtaking scenic spot shown in 📷️1🎵. (On the map 📷️6, it’s area ⑤.) The narrow passage behind the Buddha statue is so inconspicuous that you might miss it if you don’t know about it! Be sure to remember this when you visit☺️. Also, the rocks at the summit are quite slippery💦. I managed with comfortable sandals, but if you’re concerned, wear shoes with good grip👟. Additionally, there are many other attractions such as caves, temples, Buddha statues, and observation decks🍀 (📷️10 shows another observation deck). Honestly, it was one of the most surprising places I’ve visited in Southeast Asia. First, I started my trip with a sunrise walk along My Khe Beach — wide, clean, and so peaceful in the early morning. Locals were doing tai chi and swimming as the sun came up. After that, I grabbed a bowl of mi Quang (local turmeric noodles) from a street vendor — flavorful and super cheap! I visited the famous Marble Mountains next — climbed up through caves and pagodas with amazing views over the city and coastline. Then I spent a couple of hours exploring the Cham Museum, which has beautiful ancient sculptures and gives a glimpse into the region’s deep history. One of the most magical moments was walking across the Dragon Bridge at night when it lights up and even breathes fire on weekends! I also made a quick trip to Ba Na Hills — it’s touristy but worth it for the Golden Bridge held by two giant stone hands (unreal photo spot). Da Nang feels like the perfect blend of calm beach town, buzzing city, and cultural richness. The people were so kind, the food blew my mind, and I already know I’ll come back someday — maybe for longer next time.

Inside, there is a creepy object that represents the fate of those who have fallen into hell, giving off a strange atmosphere. The inside of the cave is like a maze, with narrow paths and steep stairs, making it a very difficult journey. Is it really okay to climb it?! At the top of the steep rock face that is like rock climbing, you wonder if it is really okay to climb it, but it was too steep and dangerous so I gave up climbing. I was wearing sandals, so I prioritized safety. If you are going to climb here, I recommend wearing sneakers or non-slip shoes. It was a very interesting place. During a day trip from Da Nang to Hoi An, one of the must-see attractions is the Marble Mountains. This site consists of five limestone peaks, each representing one of the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. Due to the local jade production, it is also known as Marble Mountain. At the entrance of the Marble Mountains, there is a scenic elevator that takes visitors halfway up the mountain. For those who prefer not to climb the stairs, this is a convenient option, and the ticket costs around 20 New Taiwan Dollars. The main peak to visit is Thuy Son (Water Mountain), the largest of the five. It has two observation decks: the East Sea Viewing Pavilion and the West River Viewing Pavilion. As their names suggest, one offers a view of the coastline, while the other overlooks the Han River. The scenery is beautiful, although it was a bit cloudy on the day of our visit. The Marble Mountains are home to many temples and pagodas, such as Tam Thai Pagoda, Linh Ung Pagoda, and Chua Tam Thai. My father wanted to tour all the caves because his legs were strong, but my mother had sore legs so she waited at the entrance to the caves. They sell souvenirs at the entrance and on the way out of the elevator, but they aren't that much cheaper than the Han Market. I don't think you need to buy them here. There are 5 high peaks standing tall above the ground. It is a wonder of nature and a very beautiful landscape. "The Legend of the Fairy of Da Nang" is a legend about the five mountains. It is believed that the wonder of the five mountains was caused by the legend of fairies. The fairies came down to find love and give birth to an egg. The broken egg shells became 5 mountains, representing the 5 important elements according to Chinese beliefs: wood, metal, earth, fire and water. Along the way up, there are souvenir shops carved marble in various patterns. And when you reach the upper courtyard, there is a walkway to a viewpoint where you can see the view of Da Nang surrounded by small mountains. It is a beautiful sight. (so if you would want to call Grab, you can tell them this name instead) Admission fee is 40.000 VND, and one-way lift costs 15.000 VND (some people prefer to take the walking route to go up and take lift down or vice versa). You can google to look up its history, why is it called the Marble Mountain ??? :) Basically it's a chain of caves linked and temples and pagodas are built here. Very magnificent view from here too. What I truly like is the caves, each of them are different and for you to check out. It's a huge place to "hike" i call it, prepare towels on a hot day and drink lots of water and at least 2 hours you would spend here. The view is greatly breathtaking! 1. Là Giấy coffee - 82 Bình Hoà 15, Da Nang It’s a little but warm coffee shop. No air conditioner, but not too hot. The drinks is good, the staffs are nice and the space is beautiful. It is in the center of city so you can visit easily. Rating - 8/10 2. Ngu Hanh Son Mountain We stopped there on the road to Hoi An. Ngu Hanh Son suprised me so much. DO VISIT this temple where you can find various statue and also sculptures, some made of marble and also some in caves.. Love that the place is well maintained but do prepare to climb many steps to reach here. Do wear a good pair of covered shoes when here to prevent falls and cushion against the long flight of stairs. #celebratewithtrip Marble Mountains is a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngu Hanh Son District, around 15 kilometers south of Danang city. The five mountains are named after the five elements: Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth. All the mountains have cave entrances and numerous tunnels, several Buddhist sanctuaries can also be found within the mountains, making this a tourist attraction. There is a lift that will bring you to several Buddhist and Hindu grottoes with additional fees. The grottoes cravings show depictions of religious scenes carved out the marble and impressive statues. Linh Ung Pagoda Marble Mountain is one of the three Linh Ung Pagoda in Danang and it is the oldest of the three Pagoda, built in 1825.The pagoda is surrounded by mountains and trees, making the atmosphere there very fresh and comfortable. The white buddha statue is a prominent feature of the pagoda.It back facing the mountains while its front face the pagoda.

You can take a taxi from main city to here only takes about 20mins. You'll see an amazing panoramic view from the top of a mountain. Great place for a mini hike and trek to sweat it out. Definitely go early morning as it gets hot and humid after 10am.

I only stopped by Amphu Cave at the entrance of Marble Mountain, which is also called Hell Cave. In the center, there are quite a few locals who offer prayers, and if you go down from there, there is Hell and an observation deck called Heaven. I went down Hell for a while and came right back up because it was a course that could be a little difficult if you are not physically strong.
