I stayed the Lanbgo, the Unbound collection which is part of the Hyatt group and is home in the same building to a popular club but also very centrally located next to Taikoo Li which is the most popular hangout for the cool kids. Whether you want to take the subway or a taxi, go shopping or visit attractions, it's all very convenient. But if you only have one day, you can just stay in the hotel. The hotel is on floors 40–60. I stayed in a Grand King Room, which comes with Grand Club privileges. The Grand Club is on floors 50 and above, with better views. This is another advantage of being in a quiet place in the middle of the hustle and bustle. You can quietly overlook the bustling and vibrant city center, feeling detached from the mundane world.   ▪️Decor The hotel has a new Chinese style, with classical arches, lanterns, and shadow walls, combined with new marble and black, white, and gold colors, creating a luxurious yet warm artistic space. For girls who like to take photos, you don't have to worry about your boyfriend or travel buddy's aesthetics anymore. Any corner or casual shot is a masterpiece.   ▪️Room facilities I booked a Grand King Room, which comes with Grand Club privileges. Most importantly, the view from above the 50th floor is amazing. I have to praise the bedding, which is super soft and skin-friendly. Lying on the bed and looking out through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom has a large bathtub, and the toiletries are from Guerlain, which is understated luxury. The tea provided in the room is not tea bags but tea leaves, and there is a teapot for brewing tea, which really brings the Chinese style to the details. Of course, there is also a minibar with soft drinks.   ▪️Dining The hotel has a restaurant and a tea house, offering authentic spicy Sichuan cuisine, refreshing and sophisticated cocktails, and a pot of green tea with some pastries for a leisurely afternoon. You must try the buffet breakfast here, which is rich in variety and delicious, especially the freshly made noodles, which are amazing.   ▪️Other The hotel has a gym and a swimming pool with a starry sky ceiling. This time, I also received a ticket to the Sichuan Opera Theater, where I drank tea and watched magic and acrobatics, experiencing the comfortable lifestyle of the locals in Chengdu. It was especially impressive to see the Sichuan opera face-changing with fire for the first time. I heard that this year there will be the tallest Christmas tree in Chengdu and a high-altitude New Year's Eve party on the helipad on the 63rd floor. It sounds so romantic, and I must come back to stay again to join in the fun.

Hyatt House Chengdu Pebble Walk: A high-end and comfortable choice In Chengdu, I chose Hyatt House Chengdu Pebble Walk, and it was a great experience. The hotel is in a great location, just across the street from Taikoo Li, making it very convenient to get around. I transferred from the St. Regis and stayed in a Residence Suite. The hotel lobby is on the 38th floor, and the overall atmosphere is very comfortable, with a ceiling height of 5 meters. The lobby bar has many large sofas for resting. The luggage was delivered by the St. Regis, and the hotel staff brought it directly to the room, which was very thoughtful. My room was on the 47th floor, with a great view of both sides. When I entered the room, I was immediately attracted by the hand sanitizer, which smelled amazing. The room is about 60 square meters, with a 2-meter bed, and is divided into a living room and bedroom. The bathroom is separate and has a sink, and the bathroom is fully equipped with a shower, bathtub, vanity, and double sink. I especially like the vanity, where I can sit down and do my skincare routine in the morning, just like at home. There are many benefits here. Chengdu Family Trip | Enjoy a luxurious trip in the clouds at Taikoo Li.

☁️ We took our two kids to an event at Taikoo Li over the weekend, and then started our mini-vacation in the clouds in the city center. 🏨 We stayed in the Amber "fortress" above Taikoo Li, and had a relaxing family time. 🕍 The high-ceilinged lobby is a combination of artistic design and bright lines, which makes you feel the charm of the magnificent Hibiscus City. 💎 We stayed in the Residence Amber Room, which is elegant and comfortable, and located above the 55th floor, with a super wide view! You can enjoy the panoramic view of the core of Chengdu from the bed. I like the layout of the room, with a foyer, cloakroom, dressing table, and a bathroom with a view. 🥂 We went to the lounge in the afternoon. I thought the afternoon tea with executive privileges was good, but I didn't expect the happy hour in the evening to be even better! I regretted eating too much for dinner on Chunxi Road 😂, and my partner said that next time we come, we should just have dinner here 😆. 💛 The Residence Room not only offers free laundry/ironing service for three pieces of clothing, but also allows you to check out at 2:00 pm. The service is really good. 🏊 In the evening, my partner took the kids to the starry sky pool to play in the water, while I relaxed in the gym next door, and then had a sweet sleep until dawn. I love Chengdu so much. The slow pace of life and the food here are deeply attractive to me. This time I went to Jiuzhaigou and had to transfer from Chengdu. It really allowed me to experience the view from a very high floor, and overall, the stay was quite pleasant 👏 Let me show you the king room I stayed in. The room was quite spacious 😃, and it was well-equipped. The highlight is that this room is only a few hundred meters away from Taikoo Li 😜, which makes it super convenient for shopping. Coming back at night to a clear view of Chengdu's night scene is just perfect 😍 The room was also very clean and tidy, giving off a very cozy feeling 😃, and with the beautiful view outside the window, it's totally relaxing! The hotel's breakfast was also very rich and diverse 😋, with a variety of fresh ingredients clearly visible, providing plenty of energy to start a day in Chengdu. The service was also quite good. From check-in to check-out, there was a butler to help with luggage and such 😃. It was a very nice stay overall, with great value for money. An artistic space where Eastern sentiment and modern design coexist. Overlooking the beautiful high-altitude scenery, it's really perfect for dates and travel choices. My sisters and I found quite a few spots for taking photos; it's also suitable for checking in and photography~ 🛁 The hotel facilities are complete! Equipped with a constant temperature swimming pool, fitness center, spa center, bar afternoon tea... There are also 3 independent restaurants and tea rooms. The room hygiene is particularly good! This is the first element I care about when staying in a hotel! The room I stayed in was a 55 square meter Lang Jade guest room, which had just the right layout. If you are a Hyatt member and redeem it for 8000 points, it's quite a beautiful deal. In such a small space, they still insist on a double basin design, and the toiletries are very thoughtful, using the same brand as the Ritz-Carlton, the niche luxury French fragrance brand Fumare Mulan Xin Xia series, which smells very good, although the shampoo is not very good. The space is large, 50 square meters including a bedroom, dressing room, washroom, and bathroom. The bed is really soft and super comfortable, which finally allowed this insomniac to get a good night's sleep! I love the bathtub 🛁, taking a bath while enjoying the street view is too enjoyable! The toiletries are a full set of Fumar Mulan's refreshing summer series, and the minibar includes drinks and some snacks, such as Zhang Fei beef, peanuts, etc., which you can enjoy to your heart's content! It's worth mentioning that the mineral water and sparkling water provided are from Voss 💪 ▪️P9-13: The view from the window includes street scenes and river views, directly overlooking Chengdu's landmark buildings 👍.
