Had an Afternoon tea at [The Landing Point] of the Fullerton Bay Hotel. Facing the Marina Bay Sands and Singapore bay, stunning view is quite enjoyable. Afternoon tea will launch different sets according to different seasons. When we came, it happened to be [East Meets West]. This set is a combination of British tea and Asian flavours. Got to try the Expressions afternoon tea at The Landing Point in Fullerton Bay Hotel. Reservations are required if you choose to dine here, and the prices differ from weekdays and weekends. We were seated at a nice cosy corner with plush sofas and chairs, with the view of Marina Bay in the background for a nice photo backdrop. The savoury treats and sweets were neatly displayed, such that the food items were not obstructing each other on a fancy tiered stand decorated with fake flowers and plants. They were not only a feast for the eyes as they look pretty and delicate, but also for the stomach as the fusion of western and local flavours was unique yet taste good. Service was great with attentive staff who took initiative to help us take photos and attended to our requests. It would have been even better if the staff had introduced us to each of the items displayed on the stand just like Conrad, so that we did not have to play the game of guessing what goes into our mouths and stomach.

They have a rotating menu that changes every month, so you can visit monthly for a different set of afternoon high tea selection. The afternoon tea consists of both savoury and sweet items and comes with a selection of free-flow coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. You can add on ala-carte item from their restaurant menu if the kitchen is opened. The floor-to-ceiling windows, it offers gorgeous views of the Marina Bay area. We took the sofa seats o the ground level, which has less direct view of the bay, but the ambience was still good with nice ceiling lighting. March was the month where we celebrate International Women's Day. To all the marvelous women in the world, thank you! :) When I chanced upon this purple high tea on the website, I was drawn to the word "purple". I got to admit that my favourite colour is purple and I couldn't resist anything purple. The high tea came with 2 glasses of non alcoholic wine too. Prefect for my husband! The food was great! Savouries were refillable while the sweets were not. I have to applaud the wonderful service I received while I was there. My plate was never empty as the server would be topping it up whenever we finished some. Great service! Left the place as a happy and full woman. Back in the early 1900s before the war, Clifford Pier known as the landing point was one of the area where ships enter and the entire docks are hang with red lanterns to warn ships. Now, to retain its historical value, Clifford Pier although has a high class feel, it still maintains its colonial representation of the olden times with red lamps being decorated outside Fullerton bay hotel itself. Walk thru the landing point and you will also be able to be educated with the history of Clifford Pier.

The Landing Point at Fullerton hotel definitely offers one of the best high teas in Singapore! The restaurant has a great view of MBS and the waterfront as well as CBD. Of course, the ambiance of the hotel itself screams luxury and sophistication. The selection of sweet and savory treats was excellent along with the hug variety of tea and coffee. The staff were very kind and attentive as well. Make sure to make a booking in advance to avoid disappointment. The price is approx $62 ++ from Monday - Thursday and $68 ++ Fridays - Sunday.
