[2025 Sapporo Stay] Travel Guide for The Knot Sapporo (Updated Apr)

I visited Hokkaido again after 9 years. This time I wanted to spend more time in Sapporo, so I chose The Knot Sapporo, a hotel in the city center. It’s only one minute away from the subway station, and 2 minutes from the Tanukikoji shopping street. Donki is across the street. The location is perfect 💯! Hotels in Hokkaido are actually not expensive, and the most important thing is to choose a convenient location. Before booking the room, I specially booked the hotel breakfast because there is a famous Japanese confectionery shop downstairs, so there is a limited-time breakfast set (as shown in the picture). In addition, drinks and croissants are unlimited. So don’t worry about not eating enough. Sitting by the large French window, enjoying breakfast while looking at the Sapporo cityscape, my son excitedly counted the number of Sapporo's retro ground trams 🚋 passing by. Moreover, as long as you stay at the hotel, you will be given coins, which are similar to coupons. You can exchange them for drinks and snacks at times other than breakfast and dinner. We went back to the hotel after shopping and went for a midnight snack. My son exchanged for a box of popcorn, my husband exchanged for a beer, and I exchanged for a small cake. They were all free. We stayed in this hotel for two days. There is a big chimney fireplace in the hotel lobby. If you come here in winter, it must be very atmospheric⛄️

The basement is an underground shopping street that connects to Sapporo, so even in the middle of winter or heavy snow, you can easily carry your suitcase underground 🙆♀️ I was surprised that it is directly connected to the underground mall! You can go to the hotel from Sapporo Station without going above ground, just through the underground passage! The room was classy and comfortable . Loving the design and layout of the room. Services was great and staffs are helpful and attentive . Loving the stay here recommend to you if you come for the cherry blossom staycation.

I've been interested in KNOT Sapporo for a long time, and a friend came from Tokyo, so we stayed together! I've been interested in this hotel since it opened, and the location is the best. It's between Odori and Susukino, and it's next to Tanukikoji, so you can basically get around underground! You can use the subway right away for sightseeing in Sapporo, and it's basically connected underground for traveling within Hokkaido, so you can easily access Sapporo Station! I've stayed at the KNOT Hotel in Yokohama, and it was a nice hotel, so I was interested in it☺︎ The interior was newly built, so it was very clean and unified, and very stylish! There is also a cafe bar at the front desk, and if you use the KNOT coin you get at check-in, you can get a dessert plate! The cherry blossom dessert, which is associated with spring, was delicious and very satisfying! This service is great just for staying there🌸 Odori and Susukino are close, so you won't have any trouble finding a restaurant, and there is also a Secoma on the first floor, so it was no problem when I got a little hungry at night! We went to buy some soft serve ice cream! Lol The price was also cheap considering it was in the center of town, so it was a good value hotel to stay at! THE KNOT SAPPORO, the hotel room was very clean, and although the room was small, we were able to stay in a comfortable environment. The hotel doesn't have a parking lot, so you have to park in a nearly parking lot. Of course, you can get information about the parking lot when you arrive at the hotel, but it's inconvenient if you don't check the information beforehand. The location is perfect for walking tours. The room was a good condition!
