Picked this awfully expensive property for my 2-nights in Lisbon but glad to offset the cost using a 85k FNA 🍀 Read up so much about this spot before I went to understand why it’s so expensive apart from the fact that it has less than 100 rooms. And most of the literature was actually true - location was excellent and steps away from everything but a lot of legwork involved 😂 The room was small but that I already knew - the useless balcony was quite funny though. Very Autograph Collection indeed with its non mainstream design and cute touches like the almost Edition throw on the bed. Free mini bar for elites was a yay with free beers and bites but I forgot to maximise it during my short stay. Bathroom was cosy and limited countertop space but I made do 🥶 Breakfast at Rocco was a very moderated semi buffet with a spread of mostly cold stuff alongside a selection of of Ala carte - but my avocado toast was avocado cream instead instead of real avocados which was disappointing given the property’s price point 🤖 Service was great though - didn’t have to open the front doors throughout and polished efficiency was very much appreciated. Similar service fweel like Capella Singapore 🎊

The most surprising thing is that Hangzhou has opened a direct flight to Lisbon, which is super convenient. I booked it on Ctrip three months in advance, and the price for three people round trip is almost the same as the usual price for one person. I chose an open-jaw ticket, flying from Hangzhou to Lisbon and returning from Madrid to Hangzhou, visiting both Portugal and Spain in one trip 😄
