As soon as I saw the picture of the courtyard garden, I knew I had to come here, and it did not disappoint. The yellow paint with green windows exudes a strong colonial style, and next to it is the tallest building in Bangkok, the MahaNakhon Tower. It's like walking into a small garden in a bustling modern building. Of course, the restaurant's charm is not just in its garden. The interior decoration is also very modern. I highly recommend everyone to come and check it out! I chose to come here at 11 am when it just opened. It was already full in no time. Not only is the environment beautiful, but the service is also excellent, and the overall taste of the food is good. At first, I thought the dessert was a small cake, so I ordered two 🍰. When they arrived, they were shareable portions. Then the waiter found out that we were celebrating our anniversary and I thought they would write a blessing on my dessert, but I was pleasantly surprised when they brought out a large cake 🎂. Suddenly, three giant desserts appeared on our table 😂. Be sure to pay attention when ordering ❣️. I suggest that those who want to go here should make a reservation in advance. The price range is around HKD 200-400 per person, and it is suitable for celebrating important occasions. The lunch set menu at Paii Restaurant in The House on Sathorn is quite good, very cost-effective and delicious. The dinner options are even richer and more exciting! The House on Sathorn is a classical building with a green atrium garden on all sides. The interior is planned as a restaurant and bar on the first floor and a club and multi-purpose room on the second floor. Enter the foyer, walk through the corridor, and step onto the exquisitely carved wooden staircase. The crystal chandelier with a wire curtain shape descends from the sky to the ground. A strong imprint of the old times permeates the air, and it is very photogenic! W Bangkok is like a mirror, reflecting Bangkok's charming charm of the collision and fusion of old and new eras, local and world characteristics, allowing people to travel through hundreds of years of Bangkok. This time, we booked an Afternoon Tea set at PAII in the Sathorn area. The restaurant's name, PAII, comes from the word 'paddle' because it is located in The House on Sathorn, inspired by the first owner, Luang Sathorn Rajayukta, who initiated the digging of the Sathorn Canal. Due to a considerable wait, the food was served quite slowly and not very consistently. The dishes were on the salty side, but the desserts were delicious.
