Once, on my way to Tamsui by MRT, I saw an impressive red ancient building. At that time, I had no idea what it was. Later, when my family came to Taipei and wanted to visit the 'Grand Hotel Taipei,' I realized that it was such a famous place🤣 As soon as I entered the lobby, I was stunned by the overwhelming red decor and couldn't help but take a few more glances. The super high atrium with a red carpeted staircase made the people standing on it look so tiny. Since its opening in 1973, the Grand Hotel Taipei has hosted many heads of state, diplomats, politicians, and celebrities. The entire hotel is like a museum, not only with many exhibits to see but also guided tours to join. There are also many shops to browse 🛍️ The hotel has two Chinese restaurants, a Western restaurant, a café, and a bar. We chose 'Yuan Yuan,' which serves Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine. I heard that the other restaurant, 'Golden Dragon,' is a Cantonese restaurant with a Hong Kong chef. The restaurant's location offers a view of Taipei 101. Although the food was not particularly impressive, the prices were reasonable compared to Hong Kong, not too expensive. The whole hotel is already a tourist attraction, and it's a worthwhile experience to visit🥰 I would love to stay for a night to experience more~

Today is the 51 consecutive holiday. On the first day, I made an appointment with Mingzhu to have afternoon tea at the Grand Hotel (Garden Cafe). The Grand Hotel was crowded with people during the holiday. There were many tourists. Fortunately, I made a reservation for the (Garden Cafe) English afternoon tea, a three-tier afternoon tea. The hotel room has been refurbished. it's big and spacious. book horizon room for a good view of taipei city. signed up and paid 250 for the secret west tunnel to experience the escape route. the booking comes with free east tunnel night tour. quite abit of walking down and up the stairs. best of all LKY stayed there for 25 times! would have stayed for two njghgts. overall it was an excellent stay.

This afternoon, I made an appointment with my beautiful girlfriend Tain to have lunch at the (Golden Dragon Restaurant) in the Grand Hotel. We booked a window seat in advance. At a glance, we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Keelung River, the towering 101 building, the beautiful Ferris wheel, and the colorful Dazhi Bridge. It has the best dining view. It has a panoramic view of Taipei. We ordered steamed pork ribs, barbecued pork crisps, taro crisps, fried spring rolls, truffle pomegranate dumplings, almond pomelo strips, and almond tofu. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is great. It is worth recommending to everyone.

Every December, the month of Thanksgiving for Christmas, all major hotels will have beautiful Christmas trees🎄. I asked the beautiful sister Tina to have afternoon tea in the atrium of the Grand Hotel. In the high-ceilinged lobby, we enjoyed a set of English afternoon tea. Thanks to our good friend for inviting us to Jiantan Mountain next to the Grand Hotel... One of the unique hotels in Taipei - The Grand Hotel, Taipei. From the first sign, I did even not realize that this is a hotel. From far away it looks like a big temple. But service inside the hotel is not so unique as its building. The rooms are a bit outdated, nothing special. The swimming pool is far away from the hotel building.
