The hotel room has been refurbished. it's big and spacious. book horizon room for a good view of taipei city. signed up and paid 250 for the secret west tunnel to experience the escape route. the booking comes with free east tunnel night tour. quite abit of walking down and up the stairs. best of all LKY stayed there for 25 times! would have stayed for two njghgts. overall it was an excellent stay.

But service inside the hotel is not so unique as its building. The rooms are a bit outdated, nothing special. The swimming pool is far away from the hotel building. I flew here to stay at the historical grand hotel for my best friends wedding. It did not disappoint. We got an amazing balcony that overlooks the city. This wedding venue is so gorgeous and the staff were so friendly and helpful.There are shuttles and easy transport to get to night markets or other attractions. The wedding of course was amazing.
