#mysgmemories I was fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in the Fullerton Bay Hotel a while ago, one of the few hotels that lie along the edge of Marina Bay and is directly opposite the iconic Marina Bay Sands. It was during Christmas, and the festive decorations made the hotel look distinctive and elegant on the insight, and the beautiful view of the Marina Bay area. If you have the chance to stay in a Bay View room, you have the view of MBS on your bed, making it a really unique experience. While the Fullerton Bay Hotel only opened in 2010, it felt like an institution already in Singapore, owing to its premium bay area position and the fact that there are constantly events ongoing on Marina Bay. Was awarded a complimentary upgrade as there was an issue during my previous stay. Emailed the hotel 1 week before my stay and was duly upgraded. Was even granted a late check out without us asking. They even gift us complimentary fruits and red wine, as we were returning guests. The only thing to note is that there were pretty loud music from a party nearby which went on till 11+pm. La Brasserie Restaurant at Fullerton Bay Hotel is the perfect place for a romantic lunch date. The restaurant serves French cuisine and they have a reasonable priced lunch menu with a selection of a 2 or 3 course meal. At $55, you get to enjoy an entree, a main and desserts with coffee or tea for your 3 course meal. Food was absolutely delicious. I had their mushroom with truffle soup, duck confit and wagyu burger for mains and chocolate dome and creme brulee for desserts. Everything was perfect, from food to service. La Brasserie has a posh feel and the restaurant has nice tall ceilings and full glass windows for you to admire views of the outside bay area. The view was fantastic with the iconic Marina Bay Sands right opposite~ They have even prepared a birthday balloon and cake upon my cousin’s request that it was for a birthday celebration. #muststay On my list of staycays i have done, Fullerton Bay Hotel ranks top as one of the Top 3 luxury hotels to stay at in Singapore. Situated just opposite the Fullerton Hotel, the sister property is a more sleek and lux version (and alot more pricey too but well worth the splurge!). Their rates usually start from $600++ onwards for their deluxe room, and the most popular room type is the Marina Bay View Room. For my stay, I was assigned a room facing the Customs House and the view wasn't too shabby. What blew me away was the attention to detail they paid. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary with our kiddo and the hotel staff thoughtfully prepared a complimentary box of macarons together with cute fullerton teddy bears. They even put together a plate of yummy treats for my kid - decorated with marshmallows, colorful jelly beans and other candies. Kids staying at Fullerton hotel also get to have a free ice cream pass where they can go to the Brasserie restaurant to get a free ice cream scoop during their stay❤️

Located at the classy Fullerton Bay Hotel, La Brasserie serves local and international specials in a classic chic modern ambience alongside panoramic views of the Marina Bay waterfront. With 10-metre-high windows, and an al fresco terrace, it is an ideal choice for business lunches, elegant dinners and weekend brunch for families and friends. We dined at La Brasserie for breakfast during our staycation and the experience was great. We had delicious chocolate croissant rolls to start off Nd ordered a hearty breakfast with baked beans, smoked salmon and sunny side up eggs. One would be thrilled to find out that despite the low building, the Fullerton Bay Hotel actually has infinity pool?! And it overlooks the most sort after Marina Bay view. Of course not from height but still lovely. I had the opportunity to join my friend for a daycation and could use the pool. Surprisingly and I do not know why but both the Fullerton hotels always has no one 😱 or am I just lucky? No one means we can use the jacuzzi area which over looks the Marina Bay for a long time. And with my unicorn float, I’m also able to use it at the main pool without obstructing anyone. So happy!! I have been contemplating posting this but I decide to since it’s just too pretty! Visited the Fullerton bay hotel back last year and fell in love with the pool and decoration. Honestly I believe this is the only hotel in Singapore that decorated its tree so nicely like those winter illumination and the pool doesn’t close early! I like how they different heights in the pool as well, which made this photo so much better. The other famous pool is their jacuzzi which is at the side where you will have the view of the entire Marina Bay area. If you can’t afford a stay, you could also try dining in at the Lantern. Though I think it’s still expensive #infinitypool

It was the office building for customs police back in early days of Singapore. It looked after the commercial trade back in the days. Now it has been transformed into a dining establishment. It is connected to Clifford Pier and Fullerton Bay Hotel. You can have rooms in Fullerton Bay Hotel facing the Customs House. But I will tell you to choose rooms facing MBS. There are many choices to choose from at Customs House, from Caffe Fernet, Kinki, Suoer Loco and etc. It is great to dine at the Customs House. You can stroll along MBS after dinner too.

Awesome city skyline view right here at The Fullerton Bay Hotel. Walk towards the Lantern, note that they only open in the evening, and enjoy an awesome time at the Lantern. Do reserve your table and request for the front seats facing/nearer to MBS so that you will have an unblocked view. You will get to see the MBS Lights show too if you can stay until night time. There is no time limit at The Lantern. If you are The Fullerton Club member, you can enjoy a special discount. Or if you have dining credits during your stay with them, you also can use your dining credits here.

This pool is perfect for those who love to take swimming pool pictured or pictured by the bay! It's high floor and unblocked view are a feast for one' eyes! In the morning and early afternoon, it's literally impossible to take a nice picture since the sun is directly above the pool. It'll be too bright and hot! Hence, I would recommend for you to come around 3-5pm as the sun would most probably be hiding behind the tall sky scaraoers right behind! Can also tell that it’s kept clean and well maintained for that ‘new’ look and feel. We learnt about how the red lanterns on the Clifford Pier walls were so iconic that its name was derived from that symbol in Mandarin. There was also a full height concrete wall art that is a replica of The Fullerton Hotel’s building facade. We were then told stories of the Customs House adjacent to the hotel, where the marine police used to be stationed. Finally, we were shown a golden sculpture by the bay that depicts how the early immigrants might’ve felt when arriving on Singapore’s shores: A window to gold and wealth. Pretty cool! Afternoon teas are such a luxury to enjoy during staycations. The theme of the afternoon tea was Best Of Both Worlds as the items are inspired by local cuisine from both Singapore and Australia. In an earlier post of mine, I "tripped" about a night stay in the deluxe room of The Fullerton Bay Hotel. Actually, my stay didn't just end there. Being smitten by the hotel and the hospitality of the staffs there, I decided to extend my stay there with the corner bay view room! This room the the one tier below their theme suite. It was a last minute booking on the day itself and I did paid a hefty price on the room as compared to advanced booking. Will suggest to plan in advance to get the best price! The view in the room is baytastic! Perfect room to catch the NDP's firework this year before they shift it away. The morning sunrise was not to be missed. Its gone in just a few minutes. The Fullerton Bay Hotel has always been one of my favourite hotel purely because of its architectural look. I love how the whole building and how I'm always drawn towards it when I passed by it. It is also one of the three hotels that forbes rated as 5 stars in Singapore. Decided to book the basic room during my annual leave to relax and see if its worth the hype. The basic room cost between $600 to $700 depending on the period that you are booking. Deluxe rooms are all facing the custom house. You will not be able to get a direct view of the mbs but the view is pretty awesome too (that is if you don't mind the skyscrapers in your view). Bathtub is bigger than normal and perhaps can fit two person who are on the skinnier side. All rooms come with nespresso machine, twg tea and also hot chocolate. It was a very relaxing staycation and I decided that the money spent was worth it. Beautiful neoclassical architecture, impeccable service and extremely clean premise. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3D2N staycation over the Christmas weekend with my spouse. Even though it was not cheap, I felt that it was worth the money. Service was one of the best that I’ve ever experienced in terms of hotel stay in Singapore. From the front-desk staff, cleaning staff, staff mending the pool/gym, everybody greeted us warmly and was very efficient. Breakfast at La Brasserie was good as well. I wanted to upgrade to a premier room with the Marina Bay view. However, it was already sold out for Xmas. Nevertheless, the front desk staff gave me one of the better deluxe room. They even gave me complimentary macaroons which were very yummy. Room and toilet were extremely clean and well-maintained. Even though the lobby was not massive, I love the fact that Fullerton Bay only had 99 rooms and it allowed the staff to attend to guests swiftly. I will definitely be back and stay at the Marina Bay room. Thank you so much for making this Christmas a magical one for my spouse and I. #moreinsg
