The Royal Initiative of the Manioc Project
Located in Tha Yang District, Phetchaburi Province, it was born from the concern of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Rama IX, who had for farmers to develop and promote the agricultural career to be successful and be able to sustainably support themselves and their families. The area within the project is spacious and located in the middle of a valley. At present, it has been well allocated for agriculture. There are both economic crop plots that grow many types of crops, such as pineapple, lemon, coconut, and sweet potato. In addition to economic crops in the area, there are also fruit trees, field crops, and various vegetables, such as dragon fruit, rose apple, banana, pumpkin, basil, holy basil, chili, etc. There are rice plots, both glutinous rice and sticky rice, and rubber plantations. All of these emphasize not using chemicals, or if they are used, they must be used in the least amount. There are dairy farms, chicken farms, and agricultural plots that are arranged as beautiful gardens for visitors. #Chang Hua Man Project under the Royal Initiative #Phetchaburi
