The hotel deserves more than 5 starts, just a perfect place to spend a short holiday, the hotel is super clean and comfortable and luxury. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the spa is great and the massage is one of the best on the island (shafa). The location is great and close to the airport and the sports activities spot. Walk in closet and bathroom is as big as the living room with shower and a jacuzzi. Only downer is the toilet - the flushing system is old lever which is very slow to flush your "goods" and eventually got stuck and flood the toilet. Had to go to level 1 to the public toilet very early in the morning as we can't wait for an hour for the plumber to fix it. Overall nice experience#kedahtourism

The significant about this hotel is that the check-in process is very easy. You dont need to queue at counter but the staff will offer you to have a seat. While they will arrange everything for check in process. The best part is they will offer for neck and shoulder massage! wow 😍After the check-in process, the staff will guide you for short hotel tour. Located very near to Langkawi Skycab so you may plan your trip conveniently. ❤️ Attractions - Besides Langkawi Sky Cab, this hotel located nearby to Langkawi Water Park and Crocodile Farm. You may find mangrove tour activity nearby this area. Hotels - Based on my personal experience,this hotel is more adult preference based on the pool and the private beach. Its a good hotel to relax and enjoying the nature. Food & Restaurants - Breakfast spread was all good! Not so much variety however the food quality and taste wise is very good. The attention to detail is impressive, with a beautiful garden by the pool where you can relax and enjoy the view. 🏠 We stayed in a king room on the third floor, which overlooked the pool and the sea. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. The complimentary champagne breakfast was a real treat! The daily housekeeping service was impeccable, and the public areas were spotless. 🍽 The hotel has a wide range of dining options, including Planter's and Straits & Co, all of which were delicious and reasonably priced. We even got the chef's secret recipe for the salmon at Planter's! The Verandah Bar & Lounge was also a great place to end the day. 🛍️ There aren't many shopping options nearby, but the hotel's comprehensive services make it hard to leave. #100WaysOfTravel Book into The Danna Langkawi. Ok, we admit that we are biased. We’ve been swayed by afternoons spent lazing next to Langkawi’s biggest pool, gazing out to sea or up at tropical forest covered mountains. We were wooed by the colonial design that has a fresh modern feel with its high ceilings, oversize doors and warm breezes flowing in from the ocean. We were charmed by the staff who, from check-in to check out, managed to achieve the elusive goal of balancing efficient service with genuine friendliness. The luxury treatment started as soon as we were met at Langkawi’s busy airport. Being met by two friendly faces who whisked us into the cool of their waiting car (with water and an obligatory cold towel) was extremely welcome. After a scenic and comfortable 45 minute drive, we arrived at The Danna on Langkawi’s West Coast and to possibly one of the best hotel check-ins we’ve ever experienced. It was friendly, efficient, included a personal welcome and discussion about our dietary requirements from the department head in charge of food and beverages and ended with a mini neck and shoulder massage from one of the spa team. The generosity we experienced at check-in was everywhere. In the afternoon at the pool, staff wander around with ice cold water and trays of crispy light samosas to snack on and in the evening, happy hour at the pool bar treats you to half price cocktails. Everywhere we went we felt like the staff made the effort to personally get to know us. Our princess had such royal treatment from The Danna resort team, thank you 💖

The Danna Langkawi, for me, a very special place that’s so dear to me. It’s a standalone 5-star small resort that nestles proudly in Pantai Kok of Langkawi where you’ll see 360• amazing, picturesque view of Langkawi 101, the Machinchang Mountain, and also the Langkawi Marina. The impeccable experience starts from the moment you perform your check-in, until your last waive of goodbye. Imagine sitting comfortably at their lounge area served with refreshing welcome dream, pampered with welcome shoulder massage, and bright smiles of all staff there. Definitely a one of a kind experience. As for the suite, called Countess, is a very beautiful, enormous room on top floor with unobstructed view of the Andaman sea. The room comes with two balconies, a huge living area, an office, a pantry, a walk-in closet, a big jacuzzi, and a bed chamber with a 4-poster king bed, will definitely satisfy your stay with the utmost luxury imaginable. As for the restaurants, The Danna boasts a wide array of cuisine with multiple themes, and the biggest of them all called Planters. Fine cuisine? Just ask the chef! Will I come back? Definitely!

However – there are also luxurious local hotel brands, and The Danna Langkawi is one of them, offering even better value for money! This five-star luxury resort is located within Telaga Harbor Park – with a prime location. The hotel features an enormous swimming pool and a private beach stretching 2 kilometers – the resort is surrounded by lush greenery. The Princess Beach Villa I stayed in – upon arrival, in addition to being greeted with a welcome drink and a cold towel at the front desk, there was also a spa therapist from the hotel who gave each guest a shoulder and neck massage for about ten minutes – instantly relaxing and putting you in vacation mode! Our villa came with a large garden and private pool – the garden leads directly to the beach, where there are exclusive sun umbrellas and loungers, truly a high-value vacation experience! 👍 Highly recommended: The Ritz-Carlton Langkawi with an average price of 2800-3600, has a stunning environment! The service, hygiene, and soundproofing are all excellent! Located in a secluded bay of Langkawi – surrounded by rainforest, lush and verdant, overlooking the Andaman Sea, serene and tranquil. The hotel draws on the essence of local culture to create a unique island experience and also showcases the infinite charm of the local ancient village 'Kampung'! The hotel not only has a private beach but also enjoys the entire bay – backed by a primordial tropical rainforest, it's especially convenient to go to the market, airport, or the marine national park! The Ritz-Carlton Langkawi is just perfect for a romantic getaway, I stayed in a beach pool villa for five days and four nights, with a huge private pool that not only leads directly to the beach but also offers a stunning sea view, allowing you to watch the sunset every day! The room is very typical of The Ritz-Carlton's resort style – The Ritz-Carlton's resort rooms usually have darker tones, which reflect the brand's solidity and heritage, and the use of localized elements to enrich the room's colors is an important means to make each Ritz-Carlton resort unique, and The Ritz-Carlton Langkawi is no exception!
