Pompidou Center: An Art Sanctuary Encased in Pipes and Steel
🔰🔰The Centre Pompidou, a temple of modern art and a must-visit museum, is closing for renovations. It will be completely closed between 2025 and 2030 and will reopen in early 2030.
🔰🔰A day trip to the Pompidou Center. I have many thoughts. I saw almost all the good works inside. Although it is not as grand as the Louvre, the art schools inside are complete: Impressionism and Fauvism have many works, followed by Cubism, Impressionism, Expressionism, Abstract, Figurative, Realism, Surrealism, Metaphysical, Revelation, Magic Realism, and Rural Modern styles. There are several works by Picasso, but most of the above painters are from France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy. There are two Russian painters who became pioneers of Fauvism. One of the pavilions is dedicated to displaying prints, oil paintings, charcoal paintings, and other works from the Americas, especially Mexico, which are very stylish and eye-opening. Finally, there are various art forms: wood carving, retro collage, plastic collage, performance art, street decoration art, display art, photography, audio-visual art, spatial layout art, model art…too many!
