Staying here is like taking an elegant journey through time. ❤️Must-visit Although I've been to Singapore many times, taking a sidecar tour of the city was a new experience. If you stay at the Kempinski, you can rent a sidecar and become the coolest person on the street. 🛏️Room I fell in love with the retro European-style room as soon as I opened the door. The room is spacious, elegant, and romantic. My favorite thing to do was to sit on the sofa and stare out the window, especially in the afternoon when the sun shone into the room. The drinks in the minibar are free. Drinking a glass of champagne in the bathtub before bed was perfect. 🍽️Dining The hotel has a wide range of dining options in the main building and the new building. There are two in the main building: 1️⃣15 Stamford Restaurant Sitting in this Nanyang-style garden restaurant, you can enjoy delicious food from around the world and Asia from breakfast. Dinner is fine dining, and the ceremony, presentation, and creativity of the dishes make it worth the visit. The chef combines Western and Singaporean cooking techniques and ingredients to create a new experience for your taste buds. There is also a bar next to the restaurant, which is perfect for a drink with friends. I even made my own cocktail here. 2️⃣Lobby Lounge This Peranakan-style afternoon tea is different from ordinary English afternoon tea and is very Singaporean. The portions are large, so you can have afternoon tea for lunch. The Capitol Kempinski Hotel is a heritage building that has been refurbished into a gorgeous 5-star luxury hotel! The main restaurant within its premises is the 15 Stamford, named after the street the property is on. I visited this restaurant with my girlfriends for afternoon tea and it was an amazing experience! There was a good variety and I enjoyed the cookies the most. #mysgmemories I was fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in the Capitol Kempinski, which is a heritage hotel in the heart of Singapore’s central business district. I was given a Stamford Suite, and accorded suite privileges for my stay, which included evening canapes and cocktails. The hotel room was well segregated into the shower space, living room and bed room. While it is not the size of a normal suite, it was still able to separate the areas well without wasting space. The bathtub and showers were very nice and among my favourite in the hotels I have tried in Singapore. The location of the hotel is also very convenient as there are multiple shopping centres nearby and a lot of food outlets both within and surrounding the hotel. Review Capitol Kempinski Singapore This is my first time staying at the Kempinski brand abroad. I was originally impressed by both branches in Thailand. Both Siam Kempinski and Sindhorn Kempinski are considered Ultra Luxury hotels. The service and reception of customers are 100%. This time, I stayed at Capitol Kempinski Singapore, one of the legendary old hotels in Singapore in the City Hall area. The location is good, next to the BTS. 🛌 Bedroom: Consists of 1 bedroom, 1 living room. There is a door that can be closed. There is a sofa with chairs for eating snacks. When walking through, you will find a bedroom with a King Size bed with a menu of more than 10 types of pillows to choose from. 🍹 Minibar: You can eat everything, both tea, coffee, famous brands such as Bacha coffee and drinks in the refrigerator such as sparkling mineral water, beer, soft drinks, orange juice, apple juice, free of charge, refilled every day. 🧁 Welcome Amenities for Titanium will be a mixed fruit basket with snacks such as pineapple cookies, nuts and raisins. 🛁 Bathroom: It will be next to the entrance door of the room. It will be separated into two parts. The first part will be an automatic toilet with a warming system and a his and her sink. The second part will be a bathtub and shower. The water here is hot and the water flows very strong. 🧺 Amenities: Use products from Salvatore Ferragamo, a famous brand name. It smells like perfume. You can ask the housekeeper for more as needed because it is a small bottle. And there are other equipment such as toothbrushes, razors, shower caps, loofahs, and scrub salts. 🏨 Facility: There is a small open-air swimming pool with a fitness center on the 4th floor. Experienced the afternoon tea set [Botanical-Inspired Five Course] at the lobby lounge at Kempinski hotel Singapore. The high value tea set and the quiet space perfect for a casual catch-up. #valentinescape We visited Hopstotch at Capitol Kempinski for a gathering. The food was good. The soft shell crab pasta was flavourful, and the mushroom soup was to the point. The ambience was nice and was good for a small group gathering. Though we did not order any cocktail but the presentation of the cocktail looked interesting. Will be back to try them out. The service could have been better. The waiting time for the food was quite long (could be due to the full capacity seating). Also, we were a group of 5 but were given "what we think was a 4 seater" table. We were told that we could shift to a bigger seating when available, but it was too troublesome that we rejected the suggestion. Stayed in the Stamford suite at The Capitol Kempinski Singapore. Our suite is located on level 3 and pretty near to the elevator. Walking in from the entrance you will be able to see a corridor with sliding door on both side. One side opens up to the bathtub and shower while on the other side is the toilet. Walking further in will lead you to the living room and the bedroom. I booked a deluxe room with breakfast. Love the layout of our room. The little living room area is perfect for lounging before shower. The bathroom is also big with double sinks. Price per Person - 20++ Rating - 4/5 We came for their weekday set lunch, which comes with 1 main + 1 drink + 1 dessert of the day at 19.90++. Serving of the main is big! 3 pax would be just nice if all are average eaters. Mains we got signature crab fried rice, and glasshopper. Both are nice! Wok hey gao gao. Love it! Drinks we got to choose between lime juice n green tea so we got the former. Dessert is whatever dessert of the day they have. Wouldnt say the set lunch is super worth it. My fave thing to do as a foodie is try out different afternoon teas and Sunday brunches at all the hotels in Singapore 🤪 Got a 1 for 1 coupon for Sunday brunch at 15 Stamford last year and finally tried it this year! Buffets are back and this place is definitely a must- try 😤 Think a whole jamon iberico leg, unlimited fresh oysters, wagyu roast and a real honeycomb to go with all the cheeses and cold cuts you can think of 🤭 Not to mention a hidden corner of desserts yum!

The Capitol Kempinski is renowned for their service, and one must stay here to experience it. For a birthday celebration, the staff arranged an upgrade and decorated the room beautifully. From check-in to post check-out, the staff are observant and meticulous. This Grand Deluxe room boasts a free-standing tub and ample space. Definitely a #muststay!

The pool and Gym facilities at Capitol Kempinski are both on the 4th floor of the hotel. Here's the opening hours: 24 hours access to the gym, while the pool is only open from 7am to 8pm daily. We went early in the morning and both were empty. The gym can be accessed through the room key card, and consists of cardio training equipment, some weights and ARKE Core Centric Training equipment. While it's not very big, it's also not the smallest we have seen so far. The Saltwater swimming pool on the other hand, was small and more for dipping and enjoying the jacuzzi than actual swimming. However, the pool wasn't heated, so it's quite cold, especially in the morning. There are also a few pool benches around the small pool. As we have the pool all by ourselves throughout the time we are there, it's quiet and quite relaxing enjoying the jacuzzi. #muststay #staycation

One of the highlights of a Staycation is the buffet breakfast, and I had to say the breakfast at Capitol Kempinski (15 Stamford by Alvin Leung) is really one of the best I had enjoyed so far. From the luxurious spread, service of the restaurant crew, and quality of food, it's simply one of the best, and I really agreed with a lot of others who had reviewed their breakfast. We were first greeted and then brought to our seats by the crew, which was a good start. The ambience was warm and welcoming, and the staff are ready to help if you require one. The huge spread of food and back of the self-service concept were excellent, and we are free to explore around and help ourselves to the various food (so much that I simply don't know which to start on and eat). There's also the raved honeycomb that you can help yourself with, and that's really delicious. There's also Bacha drip coffee, juices, power shot, milk, Mist Valley Tea, lots of cold dishes, various bread and pastries, kids corner, Asian and International hot food and fruits. #muststay

Address: 15 Stamford Rd, Singapore 178906 Located just minutes away from City Hall MRT station, Capitol Kempinski is a luxury 5-star hotel housed in a heritage restored building. It's also near a number of attractions such as the National Museum, Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Fort Canning and more. There's also a lot others to explore and shop such as the Raffles City Shopping Mall, Funan, Suntec City, Marina Square. It's a birthday celebration 1 night staycation and it's truly a great stay starting with the great service from the lady in red, Stella who checked us in, and even walked us to the room, and gave some brief introduction of the hotel, room, and facilities available. Stella also gave us a late checkout at 1.30pm when asked the next day. The Deluxe room was quite big with a big longish bathroom and a nice bathtub. There's a small window view of the City Hall station and also MBS. I especially love their bathrobe as it's so soft and comfortable. The bathrobe also kept me warm as the room was a bit on the cold side. Do note that their toilet (separate cubicle in the bathroom) is really very small. #muststay

Booked a classic room and a few days prior to check in, requested for early check in and upgrade. I got a call a day before check in informing me that early check in at 1pm was granted. I checked in at 1pm and was informed that I was upgraded to a deluxe room. Yay! I was assigned to room 268, located in the capitol wing, and just above Ka-En. Take note that the hotel has two wings; Stamford and Capitol. Stamford wing is where the hotel lobby is. Capitol wing is where the gym and pool is. (Lvl 4) There is a lift in the Capitol wing that brings you to arcade@Kempinski. The lift is just behind Hopscotch. I digress. The deluxe room is 45 sq metres, bigger than the 33 sq metre classic room I originally booked. First thing I noticed was the stunning cupboard. Very fancy looking. Bed was very comfortable. The Samsung Smart TV allowed for Chromecast, Apple Airplay (wasn’t working for me though), android casting. hdmi cable panel on the wall too if you need. Sonos soundbar installed too so sound from the tv was fantastic! Non alcoholic beverages in the fridge were complimentary. My fridge only had a bottle of mineral water and sparking water. A call to reception confirmed that the fridge was supposed to have a few more bottles of soft drinks. Room service sent up 2 cans of coke and 1 can of Sprite. Nespresso machine and 4 capsules provided. Tea was from Mint Valley (a tad disappointing). Being in a conserved/heritage building, the room comes with two coffee table books. One about black and white houses and the other about shophouse. Very apt. Room also has a two seater sofa. 4 more bottles of mineral water were placed strategically in the room two. 2 bedside and 2 in the toilet. Speaking of toilet. It was huge! 2 sets of tap, stand-alone Kaldewei bathtub, separate shower and toilet. The bathtub was stunning too. Water fills quickly and best part, there is a tv you can watch while soaking in the tub. The tv also has Chromecast, AirPlay etc… The speaker was good too. I enjoyed my time in the tub watching Netflix! A tad disappointing that the hotel did not provide bath salts, and scrub though. The separate shower was unique too. Besides rainshower, there were two normal shower as well. Not too sure where there is need for two showers but I didn’t really mind. You can also choose to sit down while showering. The toilet bowl is heated and has a washlet. Toiletries were Ferragamo and they smelt really nice! Back to the room, the window faces the arcade (Ka-EN to be specific) but sound proofing was great so didn’t hear any sound from outside. Blinds and curtain are electronically controlled from the bedside switches. Bedside also had a system that has alarm clock, wireless charging, 2 USB ports and one power outlet. All in all, a very comfortable stay and cozy layout. Will be back to try a different room type next! #muststay

The pool is located on the 4th floor of the Capitol Wing. The website states that it is a saltwater pool but the pool didn’t “taste” salty to me. The pool, to be honest, was on the small side, so not really one to do laps in. Two areas for jacuzzi though. What I like is the green wall the hotel used in the pool area, made the pool felt like one in a resort. Breakfast was in the 15 Stamford restaurant and what a spread the breakfast was! The decor of the restaurant was also stunning. Back to the breakfast, this was the first 100% buffet breakfast I had since the pandemic and I must say I must have forgotten how much variety we used to get at breakfast. Bur breakfast here is on another level. Besides the usual bread and pastry section , cold cut, salad, live egg, noodle stations, mains like congee, sausage, bacon, hash brown etc.. there were many other stations here. I loved the local food selection of chwee Kueh, nasi lemak and also the drinks selection. Champagne for breakfast? Check. Freshly squeezed fruit juices? check. Other specialty includes honeycomb and many more. It is see and try to believe. If you stay here, make sure you opt for the breakfast at Kempinski. You won’t regret it! #muststay

It was Tomoko who handled my check-in and led me to my room - which was upgraded due to my hotel membership tier. She was very cheerful, friendly and accommodating to all my queries. I have nothing but high praises for this hotel and their staff. Below are the things I thoroughly enjoyed or liked during my stay: * bathtub with tv panel at the wall facing it * entertainment system - have chromecast, apple airplay, and hdmi port * Ferragamo toiletries & Vitaminspa antibacterial hand sanitizer * very soft bathrobes & black, soft bedroom slippers * range of pillow selection (I tried their firm neck-supporting pillow & bolster while my friend tried their anti-stress pillow) * sound-proofing of my spacious 50 sq.m. It was worth paying a higher price for booking the room and definitely worth waking up early for 😉 The only buffet spread I’ve seen with fresh honeycomb and power shots. Love these!!! Their breakfast spread comprises of the following: - bubbly (dunno if it was champagne or white wine, didn’t try it) - powershots, fresh juices, coconut water & lemon butter, coffee, tea - fresh fruits - DIY salad - cheese, cold cuts, crackers for cheese, honeycomb - different breads & spreads - kiddie section : different cereals & milk - bircher muesli, plain & different flavoured yoghurt, different berries - usual western breakfast (bacon, eggs, beans, potatoes, luncheon meat, etc) - asian food (dimsum, rice, noodles, nasi lemak) - beancurd & youtiao On my second day for breakfast: - Powershots changed from apple & orange to lemongrass & grapefruit - Prawn Noodle changed to Fishball Mee Tai Mak soup - glutinous rice changed to beehon - chicken bun changed to lotus bun - siew mai changed to har gow The auntie assigned to our area is very attentive & friendly. Our plates are cleared right away, coffee replenishment is offered as soon as she sees we are about to run out and kept on encouraging us to get more food 😂 Too bad, I wasn’t able to get her name to compliment her here. When my husband and I stayed at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel here in Singapore, they invited guests to join in a mini party to commemorate the occasion. There were balloons and mascots of the founders, and they also gave out complimentary pieces of cake and champagne in the lounge area. It was awesome getting to experience this in the gorgeous hotel and lobby, superb! Due to my GHA black status (now titanium), I was fortunate to be upgraded to the Stamford Suites during my stay at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore are located in the historic Stamford House wing. They measure approximately 58-61 sqm in size and offer a separate living area that can be partitioned off. The suite was gigantic and I loved the spacious bathroom with separate soaking tub complete with a TV where you can enjoy watching the latest K drama on TVN while having your bubble bath! #staycation

This time round, we stayed at the Grand Deluxe room that looks almost like a junior suite layout with a separate living room. Everything looks so elegant and the bathroom is super huge too. There is a bathtub and separate standing shower. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to feel pampered!
