🌟I only stayed in London for three days this time, but I basically visited all the major attractions. The main reason was that the route was well planned and I avoided many detours. 🌟This guide requires a certain level of physical strength, because the distances between scenic spots are very close, and you basically have to walk (5-15 minutes), but you can check in all at once, with an average of more than 20,000 steps per day. 🌟For friends with limited physical strength, it is recommended to extend the time to 5-7 days, which will be much more leisurely. It is located in central london and very easy to access via the London Underground or other public transport. 🚇 There are 4 stations all within a short walking distance of the British Museum: Tottenham Court Road, Holborn, Russell Square, and Goodge Street. 🎫 Entrance to the museum is free and no ticket is needed. They do ask for a donation on admission but this is not required. Inside the museum there are many different exhibitions with collections of art, sculptures, artefacts and more from many different countries around the world. It is interesting as it educates people about the countries where the British have been to through beautiful artifacts. Without the British museum people won't know about these interesting history as some of these aren't even covered in our school's educational system. The entire museum is so big that you have to cleverly navigate if you wish to see all of them. Since I live in China I was very curious on how China was before and how the British people see China in the olden days through the displayed artifacts. It is truly impressive and fascinating. It's like a miniature world inside, containing many wonderful cultures from all over the world. The Porcelain Museum in the China Pavilion has a wide variety of exhibits and houses a large number of porcelains from the Tang and Song dynasties. We went there at night and the queue to get in was very fast. Although it was a late show, there were still a lot of tourists. The visit was like traveling through a time tunnel. Great for when London’s weather gets a little bit WET. 🚍 Getting There - Take the tube to Holborn or Russel Square on the Piccadilly line. 🎟 Attractions - There are often curated exhibitions you have to pay for, but unless it particular takes you fancy enjoy the standing collection. Superb few hours here with our first visit. Allow loads of time as there is so much to see and explore. There is something for everyone and would recommend going to each level. Although it's free entry it's worth doing a donation as well. My grandchildren are also fascinated with the museum.
