[2024 Zagreb Stay] Travel Guide for The Botanical Garden Apartment (Updated Nov)
Zagreb Botanical Gardens
One place that should not be missed in Zagreb are the Botanical Gardens. these gardens have been around since the mid 19th century and are still thriving today.
This place is smack in the middle of Zagreb right next to the Esplenada Hotel and a 5 minute walk from the grand central train station. It’s crazy to think that next to a busy street and a railway there is a small little forest nestled between the busy intersections. but the best thing about this place is that is it sunken into the ground a-little which blocks all the sounds of life outside.
I would definitely recommend this to a friend. The pond and the red bridge to the east of the botanical gardens are a great place to take pictures.

A year ago, I explored the Botanica Garden at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb. The vibrant tapestry of plant life unfolded before me, creating a mesmerizing tableau of nature's diversity. Each plant proudly displayed its identity with meticulous labels, turning the garden into an educational haven.
As I strolled through the well-organized sections, I marveled at the vast range of species, from exotic tropical plants to native flora. The labels served as insightful guides, unraveling the botanical mysteries and connecting me with the scientific world behind each specimen. It was a sensory journey, where the lush greenery and informative labels harmonized, making my visit both visually enchanting and intellectually enriching.
In 2024, I wish to visit Padova.
