We visited the Big Buddha Hill in Phuket, Thailand. We stopped for lunch in our way up the hill where we enjoyed delicious Thai food with stunning views of Phuket. After lunch we continued to the Big Buddha. There is no entrance fee. There are 360 degree views of Phuket and nearby islands. You can choose to join the prayers led by the monks in one of the several shrines and get a blessing for your trip. The place is very well organised and clean. There are public toilets and also small restaurants where to buy some food and drinks. You shouldn't miss this spot when visiting Phuket. Totally recommend!

Amazing trek..completed upwards journey in 1.5 hours and down in 45mins Can be dangerous in dark or after heavy rain. Carry water bottle and get a stick with donation at the start of the trek.
