Outdoor pool at Bamboo Leaf Hotel is the perfect plan to spend a lazy morning or afternoon in Yangshuo. The location of this swimming pool is just perfect, it is in front of the river which allows you to have the best view of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is not far from the west street. The swimming pool is open everyday and it is mainly used by hotel's guests, however, you can enjoy this pool by having lunch or dinner at the restaurant on the top floor. they have also nice western desserts 🍨 such as banana split, crepes and ice cream 🍦. They have also alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. Staying at Bamboo Leaf Hotel, Yangshuo offers a serene countryside retreat with stunning paddy field and mountain views. The rooms are spacious and come with a balcony and the hotel even provides a shuttle to Yangshuo Town, making trips easy. Plus, the bidet is a nice touch ! The only downside is that it’s a bit far from town (about 10–15 minutes), though the river view on the way makes up for it. There’s not much around the hotel itself but it’s perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Hotel staffs speaks average English and communication was via wechat which was really smooth especially when we were outside. So far❗️ my favorite city has appeared‼️ But Guangxi really gave me a lot of surprises❗️ Unlike the hustle and bustle of Guilin and Yangshuo🏜️, I prefer the places with fewer people and beautiful scenery like Baise and Chongzuo⛰️. · ☑️ Transportation ✈️ Take a flight to 'Nanning Wuxu Airport' 🚗 Rent a car in advance, and drive 2.5 hours from the airport to reach Longyang😎 · ☑️ Travel Route Day❶ Nanning➠Longyang Sinkhole➠Longka Lai➠Stay in E'quan Day❷ E'quan➠Tongling Grand Canyon➠Sandie Ridge Waterfall➠Mingshi Countryside Day❸ Detian Waterfall➠Nanning · ☑️ Check-in Strategy ❶ Longyang Sinkhole This is a natural pasture with not only deep pit meadows but also rare karst landforms, suitable for a 3-hour hiking trek🧗 · ❷ Longka Lai Known as Guangxi's Little Xinjiang, you can see cattle and sheep roaming everywhere🐂🐑, meandering rivers, and it's a great camping spot that even locals are hardly aware of🏕️ · ❸ E'quan The river is clear, and you can take a bamboo raft for 10 yuan per person to float among the mountains, as if entering a landscape painting🏞️ · ❹ Tongling Grand Canyon This is a large botanical garden🌳, with a high waterfall drop, and also features caves, streams, underground rivers, cliff tombs, and stalactites, suitable for a 3-4 hour hiking trek🧗 · ❺ Sandie Ridge Waterfall This is Guangxi's version of the Hundred Zhang Sacrifice, with free parking and no entrance fee, the aerial photography effect is very spectacular, and the ground shooting is also very photogenic📷 · ❻ Mingshi Countryside The scenic area is large, and you can take a bamboo raft to drift under the sunset accompanied by the sky light and cloud shadows, with the distant mountains under the Kanas landform looking like ink, as if entering a series of landscape paintings. · ❼ Detian Waterfall Half in Vietnam🇻🇳, half in China🇨🇳, the high water period starts around June, if you go now, water will be released upstream from 12-14 o'clock, and the flow is smaller at other times. · 🏡 Accommodation Recommendations: - Yangshuo Biancheng Ligu Resort: Located in Yangshuo, it is the number one ranked hotel among 111 hotels in Guangxi, with guest reviews saying 'very good', 'surprise', 'perfect'. - Yangshuo Xi Shan Homestay: Ranked second, the owner and staff are enthusiastic, giving a 'HOME STAY' feeling. - Guilin Bonjour Boutique Hotel: Ranked third, it offers attentive service. 🍊 Food Recommendations: - Liuzhou Luosifen: Known for its unique flavors of fresh, sour, refreshing, spicy, and hot, it is one of the most characteristic local snacks in Liuzhou, Guangxi. - Yulin Niuba: Made with fresh yellow cattle beef, moderately salty and sweet, with a tough texture, it is a traditional specialty of Yulin city. - Beihai Shrimp Cake: Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, delicious and crunchy, it is a specialty food of Beihai.

I’ve now spent many weeks in Yangshuo and visited multiple hotels and restaurants. The Bamboo Leaf is both my favourite hotel and restaurant! The only negative feature is that is it outside the main centre of the city… however, it is only a short walk or a cheap taxi journey.
