Come see the Thai Sea Museum, Sattahip, Chonburi
📢The Thai Island and Sea Natural History Museum is located by the sea in Khao Ma Cho, Saensuk Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, opposite the ticket office to visit Saensuk Island. It was established by the Royal Thai Navy as the first place to collect and exhibit marine geology, botany and zoological science in Thailand, as part of the Plant Genetic Conservation Project initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The objective is to create understanding and awareness of the importance of plant genetics in Thailand.
📍 This museum is divided into 5 buildings, lined up on a hill, with a viewpoint at Building 5, which is the highlight of visiting the museum. You can see a beautiful view of the sea from a high angle, of the Sattahip sea and famous islands such as Saensuk Island and Kham Island amidst the blue sea. 🏝️🏖️
