Tapa Asiatica in Fuengirola
What happens if you mix Spanish tapas and Asian food? You will get something that pleases me very well.
Tapa Asiatica is a tiny Asian restaurant near the train station of Los Boliches in Fuengirola. What makes the place special is that they have really focused non a fairly small variety (but definitely not too small!) of Asian food. Mainly Chinese, HK and Thai food including some Vietnam dishes too. But what they do. they do it well. The foods cost from only a few euros up to about 10 euros but they’re always quite small so you can have many and taste many kinds of different food.
Generally the restaurant has got very good grades from the people who visit the place. I personally think the Wonton soup and the Green Curry were especially good and I think I’ll go again to taste even more of those foods.
You can find the tiny restaurant (yes, it’s really small) from 23, Avenida Nuestro Padre Jesus Cautivo in Fuengirola. It’s open from 12:00-16:00 and then 18:30-23:00.

La Gusta Vieja in Fuengirola
If you’re in to Spanish delicacies or just want to experience the very best of Spanish food, you definitely should go to La Gusta Vieja.
The place is dedicated to local delicacies only. There are wines, ham, cheese and many other kinds of Spanish food available. Despite the small shop, there are so many different varieties. I went there to buy a gift and the staff arranged me a box filled with extremely delicious stuff. The price is not cheap but the quality is indeed superior.
You can find La Gusta Vieja from the center of Fuengirola, near La Plaza de La Constitutión. The exact address is Avenue de la Estación 2. The place is within walking distance from the beach too.
The shop opens at 9:30 but keeps a siesta and is closed from 2 pm until 5 pm and then reopens and is open until 8:30 pm.

The Beach Boulevard Paseo Maritimo de Rey
Paseo Maritimo Rey de España (the king of Spain’s beach boulevard) is the heart of Torreblanca beach in Fuengirola. The beach is actually continuously running from Torremolunos until Castillo Sohail in Fuengirola but the beach boulevard of Fuengirola practically starts from Torreblanca beach and continues all the way until the beach ends.
As the Torreblanca beach is more calm and quiet than the beach in Fuengirola it might attract travelers who prefer peaceful environment over lots of bars and nightlife. However the selection of restaurants (both beach restaurants called Chiringuitos) and also other types of restaurants and cafeterias is large and everyone can find food that suit their preferences from local specialities to Chinese food.
As the beach boulevard is continuously running through Torreblanca and Fuengirola while walking by it you can easily feel the difference in the atmosphere between the two ends. The boulevard is also very suitable for jogging, skateboarding and biking although the amount of people can sometimes be limiting the safe speeds that can be used.
You can find the beach boulevard from just next to the sea in Torreblanca. It’s impossible to miss it. Just access it from where you prefer. Street parking is possible although finding a suitable parking place can be challenging. I recommend to come to the beach boulevard just before the sunset, you won’t regret the views.

Castillo Sohail Park in Fuengirola
Castillo Sohail (Sohail Castle) is an old fortification build already year 965 AD by Emir Abd-ar-Rahman III to help in coastal defence. The castle itself is has been renovated by the town of Fuengirola to make it a suitable place for concerts and other festivals. It’s practically an outdoor arena.
The park around the castle is a suitable place for picnic or a little walk, jogging or just sitting and enjoying the day. There are also excavated stone ruins in the western base of the hill which date back to Roman Empire, year 300 BC. If you forget to take your own picnic food with you, there’s a bar just on the foot of the hill near the bridge crossing Rio de Fuengirola (in the last picrure).
I recommend you to access the park using the bridge by walking to the end of the Passo Maritimo Rey de España until it turns away from the beach and the walking street towards the castle can be accessed from the turning point.

Delicious spot overlooking the marina
Eating out in spring is always a good idea especially if the food is delicious and the view is amazing. This place matches all these points: the seafood was very good and the yachts view was marvelous. Also there is lots of fish there you can observe.

Andalusia beach in spring
Coming to Andalusia in May was actually a best solution. These pictures weather is perfect and so comfy. The water in the sea was chilly for me but some people were already swimming and lots of people were sunbathing.
Note that part of Fuengirola beach is nude beach so don’t get surprised when you see half naked people walking and laying there. This actually is common to many other beaches in Spain too.

Magic Malaga in May
Beautiful Malaga in May is covered with purple trees everywhere and looks so magical. It’s wonderful to walk there during this period of time, exploring the hidden corners. All the places become more stunning than they usually are. These pictures are takes not far from Terrace Costa Hotel, but you can actually see them almost everywhere in the city.

Malaga Fuengirola, Spain
Many people like to go to Spain, especially in summer, and there are many tourists from all over Europe. It was too cold in the UK where I live during Christmas, so I finally chose the warmer Fuengirola in Spain, where the temperature is around 17-19 degrees during the day. Fuengirola is a small town. It is not very big and there are not many Chinese people. There are many shops and restaurants around the beach. Just like Pattaya, there are many food choices and the prices are cheaper than Barcelona and other more famous places in Spain.

A zoo that allows visitors to experience immersion
Andalucia Tour ~ Malaga (Region)
It is a zoo where animals live in a casual environment in their natural habitat, encouraging their development. There are four distinct regions: Madagascar, Equatorial Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Indo-Pacific. In total, there are more than 200 animal species living within the Bioparc. Many of them are endangered or in danger of becoming extinct.
Visitors can experience a zoo immersion (immersion in the animals' habitats) as they move through the different areas of Bioparc Fuengirola. The surrounding plants and water elements act as a natural barrier.
You can find all kinds of birds, mammals and reptiles, such as Nile crocodiles, gorillas, Galapagos giant tortoises, servals… In the Madagascar section there is also a replica of the baobab tree (one of the largest artificial trees in the world).
It offers activities related to nature conservation and the opportunity to learn how to feed and exercise animals such as Komodo dragons or large primates. The hotel also has a gift shop, a children's area and a restaurant.

Spanish traditional tourist town ~ Fuengirola, Costa del Sol
Andalucia Tour ~ Malaga (Region)
Fuengirola is located on the Costa del Sol. It is a city with a strong Andalusian style, with a long coastline and magnificent beaches.
This small town in the province of Malaga has a long tourist tradition and has a wide range of services and infrastructure, including golf courses, horse riding centers, leisure parks, hotel complexes and restaurants, as well as an important calendar of cultural events. Besides this, Fuengirola has also managed to preserve a large number of remains left by the people who inhabited the city in ancient times, such as the Roman baths and villas or the Arab castle of Sohail. Any of the many restaurants and roadside cafes offer the opportunity to sample the local cuisine, with fish being the star product.
Fuengirola sits on a narrow 8km stretch of coastline and has a selection of the best beaches on the Costa del Sol. Los Boliches, Fuengirola, La Campana, Torreblanca, Las Gaviotas ... well-kept sandy beaches backed by long and busy promenades with residential areas, hotels, restaurants and other services where you can enjoy the comfort of the sun and the sea.

Fuengirola Mosque
Fuengirola, a dynamic town on Spain's Costa del Sol, offers more than just beaches and nightlife; it also embraces cultural diversity. A notable landmark is the Fuengirola Mosque, officially named the Suhail Islamic Cultural Center. This modern mosque stands out with its elegant design and serves as a place of worship and community for the local Muslim population and visitors.
The mosque is a symbol of the town's multicultural atmosphere, reflecting the coexistence of various cultures and traditions. While primarily a religious center, the mosque also welcomes tourists who wish to learn about Islamic culture and architecture. Its peaceful ambiance and distinctive style add to the rich tapestry of Fuengirola, making it a point of interest for culturally curious travelers. #historicallandmarks #malaga #mosque

Stunning Plaza
#familytrips2024
The Plaza de la Constitución is actually the old Main Square. Nestled at the heart of the city's historic centre, since the 15th century it's been the quintessential public and political hub of the city. It is also known as four corners. It has a covered walkway with all the high end shops. It is a great place for people to watch. Just grab a seat on one of the many benches and enjoy.
Our dream destination is to go to Hong Kong for my family trip as Hong Kong is paradise for food lovers, offering a wide variety of culinary delights. My family will enjoy it very much.

Bioparc Fuengirola 🦒

Just had an absolutely fantastic day at Bioparc Fuengirola! 🐾☀️ Nestled in the sunny coastal town of Fuengirola, Spain, this zoo is a total gem. 🇪🇸 The entrance fee was around €20, which might seem a bit steep, but trust me, it's worth every penny for the unforgettable experience. 🎟️💸
The zoo is designed to mimic the natural habitats of its animal residents, so it feels like you're taking a safari through Africa! 🦁🌿 The attention to detail is incredible, from the lush vegetation to the realistic rock formations and water features. 🌳🌊
I was blown away by the diversity of wildlife – from majestic elephants and graceful giraffes to playful lemurs and colorful birds, there's something new and exciting around every corner. 🐘🦒🐒 And the interactive experiences, like feeding the gentle giraffes and getting up close with some of the smaller animals, were unforgettable! 🥕👀
Fuengirola itself is a vibrant town with beautiful beaches, great restaurants, and plenty of other attractions to explore. After the zoo, I recommend checking out the Sohail Castle or taking a stroll along the Paseo Marítimo. 🏰🏖️ #BioparcFuengirola #SafariAdventure #SpanishSunshine

BRAVO24
#wheretogo My breakfast experience at Bravo24 restaurant in the W Hotel Barcelona was nothing short of amazing. The standout feature of this meal was the free-flowing Prosecco, which added a touch of luxury to the morning. The option to savor Prosecco during breakfast is a delightful and indulgent touch that sets the tone for a memorable experience.
The food at Bravo24 was equally outstanding. The Egg Benedict was a culinary highlight, prepared to perfection and showcasing a delicious combination of flavors. The overall quality of the food made this breakfast truly exceptional.
In summary, my breakfast at Bravo24 was a fantastic start to the day. The free-flowing Prosecco and the delectable Egg Benedict were the stars of the show, making it an unforgettable morning dining experience at the W Hotel Barcelona. It's a great choice for those seeking a luxurious and enjoyable start to their day.

Mijas Costa (without the coffee)
Love to walk? Love nature and getting lost in the wilderness without having the fear of never being found! Mijas Costa and the surrounding areas are an absolute joy of walking and trekking routes. Starting off in the town of Mijas Pueblo, you have 5 different routes to take, each giving you a different difficulty. Each will give you though such beautiful views over the costal area of southern Andalucia, including towns of Benalmadena, Fuengirola, and even reaching as far as Marbella and if your lucky enough to get a clear day you will most likely see some mountains in Africa (Morocco to be precise) always remembering you are within walking distance of a refreshing beverage at the end of your trek certainly makes it all the more worthwhile in the end.

Amazing drinks in Fuengirola’s Panda Bar
I finally had the chance of testing the Panda bar I have so much wanted to visit for a long time. Last time I was there it was closed because of the epidemic. So I gave it a try again this time.
As my friends have told me, Panda bar is absolutely amazing. The drinks are so incredible. Even though the menu consists of fairly basic drinks such as Piña Colada and Long Island Ice Tea, they are still very well made. In addition to the tasty drinks, I also like the general atmosphere in the bar.
Panda bar is located in the center of Fuengirola, its address is Calle Palangreros 12. It is open every day from 6 pm (actually from 5 pm during weekends) until 1 am and many of the best food restaurants also located nearby.
I generally recommend places that offer some local specialities. This one doesn’t but for drinks it’s one of the best places I have been to for a long time.
