This place is located in a shopping mall, SOLARIA STAGE, right beneath Tenjin Station🏢. They procure fresh fish daily from Fukuoka's fish market🐟 and pride themselves on being the first in Tenjin, even in Fukuoka, to offer set meals with all-you-can-eat mentaiko🏆! The set meals featuring fresh fish as the main and rice🍚, paired with mentaiko and hot rice, taste superb👍.
We ordered two set meals, each coming with a small bowl of vegetables🥗, rice, miso soup🍲, and pickles. The kanpachi (amberjack) was incredibly satisfying😊, and the sashimi was also very plump👌. Since there's all-you-can-eat mentaiko, we didn't miss the chance to refill🔄, but honestly, mentaiko is a very salty condiment, and it's best eaten with rice🍚.
Kanamachi cooked set meal 1890 yen💰
Sashimi assortment set meal 1890 yen💰

Tenjin
#travelanywhere Tenjin Underground Mall is a very organized mall and it is interconnected to bus terminals and other departmental stores. The underground mall can be very crowded and busy, especially during peak hours.
The design of the underground mall is straightforward with very long corridors and there are many shops but the majority are for ladies’ wear. Some of the shops have beautiful and quality clothing but the prices can be steeped.

Underground shopping in Fukuoka
#2024wish
Should be on your list of places to visit. Nice underground shopping mall, value for money. Interconnected to major Stations. Bus Terminal and Mega malls like (Solaria, Mitsukoshi, Parco, Daimaru, etc. There were so many things to see and to eat. I wish I could have more time to walk around. Not too cold in the winter but it’s quite crowded as we went there in the weekend.
In 2024, I want to visit this place again.

Subterranean Splendors: Fukuoka's Tenjin
#2024wish
Nestled beneath the vibrant streets of Fukuoka, Tenjin Underground Mall beckoned with its enchanting array of shops and savory aromas. Strolling through the labyrinthine passages, I discovered a kaleidoscope of boutiques showcasing the latest trends and traditional crafts. The tantalizing scent of local delicacies lured me to diverse eateries, where each dish was a culinary masterpiece. As daylight filtered through skylights, the mall's lively atmosphere intensified. Seasons changed, yet Tenjin Underground Mall remained a timeless hub for shopping and dining. Immersed in the rich tapestry of Japanese culture, every visit left an indelible mark. In 2024, I wish to go there again, retracing the steps of memories woven within the vibrant fabric of Tenjin's underground charm.

In addition to shopping and food, Fukuoka has one thing that I want to say is the toilet in the underground commercial street. It is also a pleasure to lie in such a toilet! I have a photo of the toilet in Fukuoka, thank you for the music, RAKU, let me know that there is such a subject, and I will add it to my travels.
