We were this morning at around 10.30 am and took the general gondola. I am quite afraid of height so the see through one is too scary for me. If you are one of those brave souls. The weather was great so the view was clear and awesome! The ride was about 15 mins and it is pretty high. The place is just nearby the Kaiyukan Aquarium. It's cost you 800yen and the full turn was about 15 mins. You able to have a nice bay area view up there. Although we only had the normal cabin but the cabins with transparent glass underneath look thrilling. But then you need to queue longer time for that. Have a very nice view of the bay area. Located just next to the Tempozan Marketplace which is a small shopping mall which offers a place to eat as well as shopping. Worth getting the ride. #givethanks #givethanks

You can also see the Rokko Mountain in Kobe from the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge across the sea. The Ferris wheel has two types of compartments, one with a transparent floor and another with a non-transparent floor. There are only four transparent floor boxes so there is a line for those, while you can usually get to ride in the non-transparent floor boxes directly. The diameter of the Ferris Wheel is about 100 meters, and when it is lit up at night, it forms a beautiful pattern that creates a very romantic atmosphere.
