I went here during winter and It was cold. Too cold to explore the area with comfort. Since this exhibition is only available at night, I would recommend others to visit during other seasons like summer. The exhibition is a light exhibition in the dark so please dont expect to be able to take pictures. Overall the experience was okay. It was kinda fun interacting with the eggs and the rabbit area gave off Studio Ghibli vibes. Do keep in mind that you might need to walk a lot to go to the exhibition and also inside the exhibition. I wouldnt recommend to go here if you have a full day of adventure because the area is definitely not a place to wind down physically and mentally.

I was a little tired and forgot to buy tickets in advance. I just bought them on the day I was going. Luckily, I bought the tickets on time through the teamLab website. There are about 5-7 exhibition spots. 🚉How to get there: Take the train from Osaka for about 20 minutes and walk into the park from the subway or JR line for about 1 km.

Instead of exploring Teamlab in Tokyo, i chose the Osaka and spent 2 hours in my last night here. this is my first time experience the Teamlab activity but i indeed expect more to see and to be indulge. Hope that they can create more zone and more display in the future.

The TeamLab experience at Osaka was a very scenic, colourful and sensory experience. There were many lights illuminating the forest at night. Things you could interact with in the specific exhibitions. All and all, a very sensory experience however, I would not put this at the top of my list of places to go back to.

Sadly there won't be any sound in this post but oh wells. For those who are more familiar with teamLab Planet Tokyo, this is the Botanical version in Osaka. You can pre-purchase the entry tickets online or at the event itself. As it consists of a light exhibition, it only starts in the late evening in darkness.
