I stayed at the Moriaki Ryokan in Ikaho Onsen, Gunma last summer. The ryokan is located near the stone steps of Ikaho Onsen and is quite large. The room had a small garden, and I really liked the view from the window. The food was also very delicious, and I enjoyed the ryokan's meals. The meat was especially tender and tasty, and I had multiple servings of rice, haha. There is an old-fashioned stone step street nearby, where you can enjoy sightseeing. I enjoyed the Japanese summer by eating tamakonnyaku and ramune. Although Gunma Prefecture is close to the metropolitan area, you need to take a bus from the station, so the travel by public transportation was long.

#FuriTabi I went to Ikaho Onsen in Gunma Prefecture☺️ It takes about 3.5 hours by highway bus from Tokyo Station. It was very convenient because the bus terminal is at the entrance to Ikaho Onsen. Ikaho Onsen is famous for its stone steps. There are 365 steps. If you want to climb the stone steps, I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Mizusawa udon is one of the three major udon in Japan, and it has a chewy texture that goes down easily and is delicious. Udon, soup and tempura are all delicious. Ikaho Onsen Stone Steps Street!!!
