3 days chaos in Semporna with pregnant partner. We fully use grab for transportation so need to waiting long time for grab, need to run to pickup point and pin wrong location to go meet point for day trips. So, better to plan your itinerary to avoid all the chaos haha. Nice place to visit when have better plan. Tawau Airport is very small, with only two luggage carousels. After exiting the airport gate, you will see many green and white minibuses soliciting passengers. It takes about 1.5 hours to get into the town of Semporna, and the fare is 25~30 Malaysian ringgits, which is negotiable. After arriving in the town, the Dongchang driver will add you on WeChat.
