Explore the mysterious Pamir Plateau.
This ancient road goes deep into the hinterland of the Kunlun Mountains and the Pamir Plateau, combining scenery and culture. It almost includes the essence of the apricot blossoms of Pamir, and also has many elements such as snow-capped mountains, canyons, villages, pastoral areas, and Tajik villagers.
Truly a place where you are in hell, but your eyes are in heaven - Tasha Ancient Road. There is no signal in the middle, so navigate in advance and do not exit.

Route: Take Bandir Blue Lake as the entrance to Tashkurgan County, and you will pass the Yarkant River, Apricot Blossom Village, no man's land, and Grand Canyon.
✅Bandir Blue Lake
Because we went to the famous White Sand Lake the day before, we didn't have high expectations, but we were still amazed when we saw it. Most importantly, there was no one there! The whole view was ours!
✅Yarkant River
This was a pleasant surprise, and the section of the road that was unanimously recognized as the essence by the people in our two cars. The river is very long, and due to sunlight and minerals, different sections present different colors, very blue, bluer than Bandir.
✅Apricot Blossom Village
There are ethnic minorities living there, and you will see their fields and free-range cattle, sheep, and geese along the way. There are also poplar forests, which have not yet turned yellow, and the poplar trees look different from those in Ant Forest.
✅No man's land
When entering no man's land, everyone must take their ID card to the checkpoint to scan their face and register. The dirt road is difficult to drive, so be careful of falling rocks.
~
⚠️Notes
✅Drive slowly! There are many narrow cliffs and bends, so be sure to honk in advance, which is very important!
✅Fill up the gas tank in Tashkurgan County in advance, buy food and drinks, and prepare for sun protection.

Today, I walked a path that world-class travelers have walked.
Legend has it that the Tasha Ancient Road is a path that world-class travelers have walked. It starts from Tashkurgan County in the west and ends in Shache County in the east. It has a history of 1,400 years. It is the road that Master Xuanzang took to return to China after traveling west to India to obtain Buddhist scriptures and crossing the Pamir Plateau.
