The zoo itself was great, but the scenery with Sydney Harbor as the background was especially impressive. I visited with my kids, and it was so much fun to be able to observe various animals up close. It was a special experience to see native Australian animals like koalas and kangaroos in person. Also, the natural environment surrounding the zoo is well preserved, so it was great for a walk. Taronga Zoo is the perfect place to spend a day with your family.

Taronga Zoo Sydney, with a history of over a hundred years, is located on the hills north of Sydney Harbour, offering a panoramic view of the entire Sydney cityscape. In recent years, various photos of giraffes with the Opera House and Harbour Bridge have been continuously popular online, attracting many people to come and check in. Last visited 28 December 2022 so thought I'd share a review on here. Fabulous zoo!! Far better than any zoo's in NZ. Cost is only NZ$50 (or about AU$44) and that included the gondola. Return ferry to Circular Quay - public transport is dirt cheap (Opal) compared with NZ. Bird and Seal Show is wonderful. Though the seal show line is super long, we still managed to get a seat for the first time at the front. It'll be great if this zoo could order heaps of size L t-shirts for men and a variety especially for the summer holidays. Good thing we visited before they closed the gondola for renovations. Weather was beautiful. A day trip well worth it. We'll be back in Syd end of this year (late December) for a solid 2 weeks. When a koala bear sleeps 20 hours a day, how lucky can you get when you can see the Koala climbing the tree. I’m additional, all of the animals were lively and actively moving around in their environment. The animal exhibits were very close, making it easier to see the animals. This time I went to the taronga Zoo in Sydney and I think I must experience it at the local zoo on a trip. This zoo is huge and some birds walk on the ground, which is very interesting. This zoo is quite hygienic and doesn't have too much foul smell. It's worth going. The tickets bought this time can enter once within six months, not necessarily choose to enter the park on the same day, the only drawback is that the restaurant here does not have too many choices, more snacks, it is recommended to eat something before going. The overall feeling I think is worth experiencing, seeing the animals, sitting in the cable car, and relaxing.

The trip to Australia began and ended with the laughter of my child. At Melbourne's Victoria Market, we enjoyed freshly grilled barbecue, and my child exclaimed, "This is so delicious!" Driving along the Great Ocean Road, the breathtaking view of the ocean and cliffs from a helicopter near the Twelve Apostles made us go, "Wow!" In Sydney's Taronga Zoo, my child's eyes sparkled at the sight of koalas and kangaroos. At Gold Coast's Surfers Paradise Beach, they were completely absorbed in building sandcastles. The two weeks felt like a little adventure story of our own.
